No matter how weak a character is, i hope to god mihoyo never start doing any kind of rework, reworking/buffing/debuffing already established characters kill the game for me

Im sure most complain about elemental skill not having iframes. the only rework I would want from her is if we could just repeatedly cast the skill faster
Honestly she is great right now, the only problem I have with her is her targeting, her dps her everything is good but her targeting makes me sad

I'd be happy if they change "destroy" to "extend" on her totems after burst.. she just drags the whole team rotation with her setting up
I don't care if she's strong or not, she's just not very fun to play.
the only problem i have with yae is that her e does not i frame attacks (also the speed could be faster)
other than that i personally dont have any other problems
so apparently the commentsection here thinks her dps is not the issue while I believe it to be the main problem with her… you see she is clearly designed to be an off-field passive dps source but she takes about 6 sec for her EEE-burst-EEE rotation which is an eternity and takes away so much dps from your team!
if her passive would instead extend her totems duration she would take way less fieldtime and her dps would actually add to the total dps of the team and not take away. so where are most of you getting the idea from that her dps is good enough? how do you come to your conclusion?!
also valk pls tell me what you mean with 'she is good but not great'? do you mean good because she can clear most content (except electro immune stuff ofc)? if so then that metric is a bit weird considering that literally every unit at c0 can clear stuff just at different investment levels. isnt it more rational to compare her to other 5* units who fill a similar postion in the game in her case off field dps? also its not a good sign when a 5* doesnt shine anywhere at all and adds nothing to a team, I would considere such units pretty garbage.

in my opinion Yae Miko is one those characters that just doesnt feel complete
like mihoyo probably tried to do something with her but scrapped it mid way and decided to do something else half way and we get a character who isn't good at anything and the things she is supposed to do doesn't work half the time and not to mention the bad experience while using her
its not always about damage but the experience while using a character also matters and Yae miko feels broken and not in a good way, really sad to see one of my Fav characters like this and this is making me like genshin less and less mainly because it just feels like all the new characters are incomplete without their cons or without some other character and it makes Hoyoverse look very money hungry in my eyes like just a single 5 star is hard enough to get and can cost 200 to 300 USD starting from scratch and if that unit doesn't feel complete then i don't know what else to feel instead of feeling like i got scammed, well its a Gacha game but that doesn't change the fact that its Money hungry + Lazy by Hoyoverse.

Welp she doesn't need a "buff or rework" just fixing her kit and all is good. Aka fix the autotargeting asp and don't wait a whole year like with Ning and she's fine. I understand why her rotation can be a bit mehh for some people but I don't see that as a real problem. The only buff she might and should get is her dash so she can I frame if any buff at all. Just wait a little and see how she looks when she is maxed out and Dendro comes out things might change quite drastically. Finally let's also not forget her has the Xiao problem no "perfect" artefact set which suits her strengths.
So chill and don't scream buff/rework REEEEEEEEEE!!! And demand that they fix her Autotargeting next patch or the patch after depending on how iffy it is and we are fine~ =w=
Oohh and personal my biget complain is her range with normal attacks they are short asf…. if ya compare her with mona you are doublfled how little range Yae has but her totems kinda fix that up so i guess its agive and take to keep her balanced sadly >.>

That's why they are so salty , it's not that she's Meh. She is actually truly bad. CN community described her as DYSFUNCTIONAL…. It's not that they want her to be the strongest. She is totally worthless
Fixes yes, rework no… I don't think it's a good thing that they'll do a knee-jerk reaction again to have the result like Ganyu and Zhongli. It's a perfect opportunity to buff a bit on electro too, not to mention some QoL on Yae's kit is definitely needed like i-frames on her dash and a better targeting system on her turrets. As long as they don't put drastic changes to the character, like they did in Zhongli, it should be good.
I just think her gameplay is very clunky
this video makes little sense, why would you want a character that does less damage than a four star, and its game play is very unreliable? the game will get harder, and we need stronger characters.
that’s a diffrence between a character not having great dmg and them being broken/clunky. Most people are complaining about yae’s clunkiness and i think that’s fair
A rework maybe very drastic but she does need tweaking at least. She’s way too clunky (most people agree) and unsatisfying (my opinion). Interpret-res + faster E animation or Iframes on E would be a good move.

Yeah, I kinda want Yae Miko to be reworked and buffed. She needs a rework because she's clunky and because she takes too much field time to be a sub-dps, so they need either to reduce the time it takes to do her thing (E,E,E,Q,E,E,E) or boost her normal/charged attacks so she can be a main dps. On top of that, she needs some QoL adjustments to reduce her squishyness and clunkyness, like at least a super armor (if not i-frames) when placing her totems and a sub-optimal totems placement with holding her E. And she needs a buff to be at least better than similar 4 stars units. I don't want her to be OP, but I surely do want her to be better than Fishl in most (if not all) situations.

When I was fighting the stormterror boss with her, her fucking pillars targeted the wind current fairies.

Gacha games dont care nor have new players they usually have bleeding playerbase , also upgrading new characters isnt new player friendly.
Yae sucks , we don't need power creep but if Ganyu deals 400k dps then Yae can deal 400k aswell and not like 80k locked behind c2 Shongun and c2 Yae const for 4k USD,,,
Shes suppose to be a off-field dps, and she fulfills that role and her damage is good enough. The real problem is with how you play her. The teleport ability on her E skill is very weird to play around with as it will lock you in place after you deploy her turret, and you can’t dash right afterwards, making it hard for mobility and dodging. Also if you teleport through an attack, you still get damaged even though you pass through enemies. I’ve tried this in her trial run and Yae Miko gets knocked out of her teleport right after the use of her EM skill when getting hit by slimes, hilichurls, or axe mitachurls. Overall her EM skill just isn’t able to dodge or negate damage at critical points when you swap her out when fighting enemies. Another problem I found with her gameplay is that the turrets target the wrong enemies. Sometimes they will focus on campfires, animals, or other random objects in the over-world. The only places where she can truly target enemies correctly is in domains and in single target boss fights. Finally the last issue is EM burst. Its really a hit or miss with it (literally). If the enemy moves quickly and you use your EM skill as the enemy dashes or teleports away, like mangu kenki, mechanical array, or kairagi for example; it won’t hit the desired target. You have to hit them as they are stationary, and if their position changes on the battlefield, the EM Burst will only hit where they were just standing and we lose out on precious damage that could have been dealt. She doesn’t need her damage numbers changed, just the way she works is what needs to be tweaked.
I think Yae Miko was rushed. Last time Mihoyo was behind with Hu tao, they made 3 banners and ran Keqing to get more time to complete Hu tao and I think the end result was better than if they rushed Hu tao.

Having said that: She feels like lazy gamedesign. Why does she have 3 E's? Why not 1 that fires 3 times as fast? Why not fire them off faster so it actually feels like a faster fischl?
The awnser is: There's currently no reason for it and I say currently because obviously there used to be, but the idea must have been scrapped and this is what were left with.
They could have done so much, connectors between towers could deal dmg, triangle could reduce electro res and or defense, burst could have refreshed the duration and gave new charges
Instead they pumped ridiculous amounts of dmg into her constellations to 'future proof' her… seems lazy to me
She works pretty well as a support dps fot my Xiao and Childe 🙂 And I made her do 91k burst on floor 12 mechanical array boss

To be honest qiqi the one need rework in her constellation for yae they need just to fix her skill hit
You said you don't want them to release broken new character ok that's good but the old will still be broken even if they release new enemy new character will be suck and old like broken baal constellation can easy kill them 1 hit for me they should remove some broken constellation
1. Make turrets do AoE Electro Damage (not single target)
2. Add a long-press E option that quickly spawns all three totems without displacing Miko. Burst doesn't consume but rather refreshes the totems (think Kokomi's jellyfish)
3. Minor buff to teammates nearby totems (anything could work, ATK%, ER%, ATK SPD%)
These fixes could make her really good and viable I think! They'd greatly improve her utility without mindlessly cranking up her damage scaling
noone tells that she is laking damage. main problem is her kit trash, she was reworked from being main dps to sub dps but her on field time stay same. this cn theory is not a theory shimenava is her set. fuc1ing mihoyo with their analytic, if unit popular because msq we can make her kit garbage they pull anyway. or at least they where to lazy re work her skills for sub dps
