  4. I have a Zhongli with 50k hp that has 50% crit rate, 107% crit damage and does 80k damage with his ultimate. So… I think I found balance and didn't have to choose between damage or shielding

  5. As far as Venti goes, also worth noting that his burst hampers quite a few characters. Another reason why Kazuha is superior to him, overall.

    I wouldn't call Yelan support. She's DPS, be it on-field or off-field. Also, she does have one bit of defensive support in her C4. Giving your teammates extra hp is quite handy, and not just for hp scaling characters. This is because non-hp scaling characters are typically built without much in the way of HP from artifacts, beyond the default from the flower. The more "optimized" your artifacts, the less hp they'll provide. And when you combine that with a low hp, squishy type character, like most other bow or catalyst users, it makes their life much safer. As a result, Yelan's C4 provides a nice added measure of survivability, much like Xingqiu's damage reduction. Her C4 is another reason I now use my Yoimiya before, since it means I'm far less dependent on needing a shielder for her. But obviously not something the vast majority of players will have access to.

    And having just said why I like a support aspect of a character that I feel doesn't belong in the top five, allow me to say who does, in place of her: Raiden. Not only does she provide electro for characters like Eula, while buffing burst damage, she provides a ton of energy. Look at how many teams do things like use batteries or favonius weapons. Raiden takes care of that, for everyone. She's a top tier support for her team-wide energy generation alone, as it changes how you gear the entire rest of your team.

  6. im not complaining but like this vid got so many ads, i literally went thru 4 ads in the first half of the vid lmaooo (i guess that was a complaint) i dont really mind ads but i this was kinda too much.

  13. While I don’t disagree with any of the placements, it’s once again clear there is a lack of knowledge of how each unit is actually used other than sheer numbers. Diona is used primarily for her energy generation and her c6 is almost always useless in eula/ganyu freeze teams. Bennett is extremely versatile in pyro infusions and most importantly energy generation! Xingqiu is no less expensive than Kazuha, who is definitely not a battery and needs a considerable energy recharge nonetheless. C1 yelan and C2 zhongli are absolutely unnecessary and for yelan can even mess up rotations. The fact that Xiangling is still seen as a support and Xingqiu is said to be for electrocharges instead of vapes for xiangling just goes to show there is really little understanding compared to your league videos where you have really insightful views and knowledge.

  18. Bennett does usually take little field time and has no off-field damage, so I understand his damage being only two stars, but in something like a double hydro team with xiangling yelan and xingqiu he can do a ton of damage.

    Also xiangling shouldn't be on this list imo: she's not a support, except for teams like melt ganyu. In national she's the off-field – debatably main – dps. There's almost no supporting the team going on, unless you're counting killing everyone so that they don't have to.

  20. Mr. Vars, Kazuha is even more excellent with a Favonius Sword, even more so with refinements, it's actually detrimental to go full EM and then actually fail to recharge the burst in time.

    Of course, c1 invalidates most of his energy needs, but I'd actually recommend Favonius with triple EM over Iron Sting with ER/EM/EM for a c0 Kaz.

  23. This video seems incredibly misinformed. The star ratings are inconsistent across all characters. Assuming a player has c1 yelan is disingenuous, especially at the same time as assuming less people have c2, which gives XQ greater uptime on his burst which is more “consistent.” I have no idea why yelan has a 2 star in defense when her kit provides 0 defensive utility. XQ with a 4* rating in synergy is odd as well, as the only hydro reaction team that does not synergize with him would be ganyu morgana.

    Zhongli also does not belong on this list. Teams that prefer him over any other support are few and far between. “3 star damage” does not hold up, as it’s often a dps loss to your rotations when using his burst (the main source of his damage).

    Diona as an honorable mention over supports like fischl, sucrose, or aforementioned xiangling is also a mistake.
    Diona’s only use cases are as a cryo battery in freeze or eula teams. Supports like kaeya, rosaria, or Shenhe outclass her in these teams, however. Her c6 is quite useless, even though you mentioned it being one of her main sources of a buff. C6 provides healing bonus when under 50%, and 200 EM above 50%. However none of the teams you should be using diona in need an excess of healing nor EM for reactions.
    Please try to do more research when making a top five list like this in the future.

  26. At first I regretted upgrading Bennet to C6. But all that did was give me a clear path in which team comps he is better suited. And this helped me crystallize 2 good Spiral Abyss teams, instead 2 so or so teams where I could never decide where Bennet should belong to. In a sense his C6 forced me to pay more attention to other supporters.
