I went on a deeper dig, apparently the bunny girl is just trigger for this. Mihoyo was caught for giving lower chance for gacha pull than they claim(0.98 incident), there was tons of hacker during an event(since the reward was giving by competition), and mihoyo didn't react for very long time. There is also a farmable character they put in there but take at least 4 patch to farm(probably would make the character obsolete since power creep goes hard in hi3), mihoyo didn't react in test server(they apology for like over 10 times later and reduce the farm time). I also see a lot people say the global getting tons of better stuff than cn server but I don't how real is that since I didn't start hi3 back then.
Lesson is if Global players want more free shit from Hoyo we should do our own version of this.
So that earlier incident with HoV is wild to me as someone who started hi3 around the time the gi event happened;
I love that but actually with the parasol It is amazing and very silly and mine has been wearing it since I actually got her 😂 You need to see the animations of her pulling her void attack with the parasols, it's amazing.

I feel like the biggest issue of hoyoverse is that their games originate from china and are under surveillance of chinese government. It just don’t work outside. Western players will always feel left out as Hoyo listens only to Chinese playerbase. These games should have real separate versions with content produced for the west and china.
Actually for the free summer skin incident of HoV, that CN player saw how it looked better than the winter empress so he started to file a complain. And Mihoyo did a gigachad move by having its effects way better than the paid one. :>

If I remember correctly, some CN users were against this "ship". NOW I know why the issue came out. Holy sh!t, CN players are a different breed. I feel bad for so many people who can't enjoy good things because of certain people that ruins the fun for everyone. The company is now scared of EVERY MOVE they do.

Seen a post on reddit. The former CEO of Hoyo, Cai Haoyu is the producer of Genshin Impact. He is also the former producer of Honkai Impact (first three years).
The funny part js that the honkai impact had bad rewards for the first three years, which changed when the producer has changed. Right now, the producer of HI is David Jiang. Honkai Star Rail's producer is David Jiang.
Genshin impact's producer is……Cai Haoyu. And this man is the reason why Genshin has such an awful rewards.

Bunny girl incident eh, i was there as a bystander from SEA server.
The relationship between Gobal server and CN server changed drastically after that, as it is an undeniable fact that the event was meant for Global anniversary yet CN ruined it horribly. Things gets worse when CN got compensations worth of 10 pulls for causing the problem, while Global only get 1 and a half worth of pull as a massive middle finger.

I feel the need to highlight that China and Global have different anniversaries and this was not “reverse treatment” or anything like that. This was the Global’s Anniversary of the game having it event shut down by the Chinese Players who also got to enjoy their own Anniversary and got compensated for destroying ours.
