  1. Ngl i was enjoying the game until natlan dropped, natlan's kinda of making me burnout because of the exploration and archon quest completion primos. After 5.0 i gave up on those primos even if it hurts as a f2p as i rather play at my own speed

  2. I find it hard to get burned out on Genshin because I have everything 100% (exploration, achievements, and stuff like that) so I can only do my dailies and use my resin to work towards my long term goal of getting all character talents to 9. So I'm done with Genshin for the day very quickly

  3. On the real, this can be applied to many games tbh. It's always good to branch or play other things in moderation, so you don't get stuck playing the same game for like 8hrs+ to feel burnt out. Or do whatever really that can keep you busy, games or not, just something

  4. LOL as a lore player/someone who actually PLAYS games, I'll never understand how people unironically get burnt out. It's always on them for playing games 16 hours a day. Meanwhile, I play genshin whenever I want, do what I want, and never force myself to do anything. I love the exploration, story, lore and combat. Not once gotten tired of ot. Day one OG player, btw.

  5. A lot of people fizzle out of Genshin solely because they've played 2-3 years, it's become a chore. But I think the timing is also a good coincidence. Genshin was released during the pandemic, where no one had lives outside the internet. So when the pandemic was over, a lot of people had lives. At least that's my theory, in my country, the lockdown was lifted halfway through 2022 and I was going to college that year too. So it was a mix of both more responsibilities and life.

Anyways love the shorts content it's something nice to see while doomscrolling.

  6. Same here, been playing since Nov2020 I always login early around 6 or 7 am, do dailys then go to work then spent resin on the bus in my way home all week and play more on weekends since I work Mon-Sat and I play wuwa, star rail and so on.

  7. I’ve been playing for around a year and a half and have yet to be burnt out, even though I’ve completed all in game content that is possible for me. All I do now is log on, claim commission rewards, farm artifacts, and try and get more achievements. I still have no idea how I am not burnt out.

  8. I tell people this all the time. Early on especially I would take breaks. Now I play most days for 10 min. Then once a month or so I’ll dump some hours into the game. I do events. Genshin is my background game mostly. It’s always there and I can enjoy just messing around getting mats/artifacts/fishing. But it’s usually not the main game I’m focusing on. I’m always surprised when people complain about being burnt out or not having enough to do in Genshin, but I’m always surprised when I see people play any live service to death. There are so many great games out there, I promise you’ll enjoy them all more if you don’t focus all your time in to just one. Unless you’re some challenge/leaderboard person, then yes spend all your time on one, but I fear Genshin is not the game for you.

  9. Getting more hobbies than just having the one thing helps a lot too. In the fall, I have CFB & the NFL. In the summer, I make travel plans. Throughout the year, I like to watch anime and read some books on my kindle.
