The New Genshin Impact Event Makes you ONE PUNCH MAN!

The new event has a cool concept, but it feels a bit too easy for me. I am really hoping they can expand on this rogue like idea for future content! #genshin #genshinimpact

  1. I just played the event and It was Mihoyos great attempt to shut some people up, not gonna mention any names…and regardless if its xinyan or any other underrated character, its nice that they aren't sweeping her under the rug because she's bad or has a 'weird voice'-(discrimination) 0:38-. I also heard that you're brain hurts from all the boredom, I get that people are entitled to their opinions but Mihoyo is trying to get players to enjoy the game for what it is and what it can be-thats what i see at least-

  2. It lacks the spirit of a roguelike, which is all about making the build on the fly depending on what rng gave you this run. You can see all the pre-determened fight variations in a single playthrough if you go with full clears, and there's very little decision making involved when it comes to picking buffs or choosing paths, so it's not interesting to do any subsequent runs after the first successful one. It should have been designed in a completely different way to have any sort of long lasting replayability. As a fan of rougelikes I honestly enjoyed the Moonchase event more than this one, even though it was even easier and featured standard recycled GI gameplay. Exploring the world, raiding random camps, enjoying the scenery and learning some lore – that's what devs nailed in this game, the new event doesn't play into these strengths yet fails miserably at creating something equally compelling. It's all my personal opinion, obviously, feel free to disagree.

  4. That was…an intresting first minute 🤣.
Difficulty aside, i still think this is definitely something that should become a permanent thing (and it might, cause some of these events feel like beta tests for future content). I definitely prefer this to Current Spiral abyss to do, particularly since the only challenge to Spiral is really just the time limit.
They could also take the full rogue-like route with this and make it so you can start it with 4 of any characters you have, but they're stripped of equipment, constellations, etc. Bare bones start. And you can get weapons, artifacts, as well as bonuses from the charms and stuff as you battle through. Can even get other characters to join your party while inside, even ones you dont have (good way to make characters accessible to use and try out) as well as gacha only weapons.
Earn points based on how ya did and how far ya made it, and can use that currency in a shop to either get stuff for outside of the dungeon (exp, talent, weapon materials. Maybe even characters and weapons too, but on rotation and be pretty pricey) or use the points to start your next run better. Its something repeatable, puts everyone on an equal footing Difficulty wise, and can potentially get really good rewards depending on whats on rotation.

  5. what we need is an event that has easy and hard mode both with decent rewards for beginners, casual, and end-game players. This event is easy (so far) for endgame players but not so much for players who speedrun the game just to get to Inazuma so they're caught up and can play the events. We need a combat-oriented event that players of all skill and AR can enjoy.

  6. Here's the thing, the events are meant to be doable for everyone, so when you get to the point when your garbage artifacts are better than the other 95% of players, then you can't exactly have an unbiased view on difficulty.

  8. Hey it’s a popular game and most of us suck and aren’t pro, I love your content and I value your opinion a lot, but some of us are genuinely struggling to get through, we’re having fun but it’s tough, you have characters with higher levels than the enemies some of us are the opposite, I’m just pointing out that if it were harder some people probably wouldn’t be able to get through at all

  9. Mtashed: "This feels a bit too easy for me"

Well, yeah……you have a cracked team! Obviously it'll feel easy for you! I have a cracked team too, and they literally walk through here like it's nothing!

However, I also have a 2nd account and it can actually be a real struggle on there at times! I have a few level 90's on that account, but they're not built anywhere near as strong as my characters on my main account, and it ain't that easy with them! I avoid choosing the Dire difficulty as they just can't handle it, but on my main account I don't think twice about picking that option.

My advice? Put away your 'main' team for a bit, and try some other, lesser used characters in here. It'll be more challenging and you might actually come to appreciate some characters you've never given much of a chance to before!

  10. The only way the devs can balance the difficulties is that they scale everyone's artifacts, weapons and talent level. On my primary account where I can blindly hit for above 15k damage with normal attacks, yeah… piece of cake. On my secondary account where I can only hit for a MAXIMUM of 3-5k damage…. ok.. it aint so easy.

  11. "They don't know how to scale their game" Fix- more levels, ….Serious (only played a few months), Dire (has multiple maxed out teams), No life(Face my maxed out team), and I stream the game(I will own every event and make it look easy)…………. This last level will create mobs that strip the player of their weapon and artifacts in the middle of fights.

  12. Labyrinth warriors was way more better than Vagabond sword event, because I can't stand battle chalenges, unless if I have Ganyu and all fully build characters ofc and I gonna get some another super dps characters in future.
