The name Alberich, as well as Kaeya's connection to Khaenri'ah have been mentioned before. Most of the mentions were in character voicelines and stories, some in the Diluc skin event in 2.8. The name Alberich was even mentioned by Mona.
In fact, Kaeya's connection to Khaenri'ah is the very reason his relationship with Diluc isn't good, since Kaeya was initially sent to Mondstadt as a spy.
I'll relay a bit of the known info on Alberichs as a short summary here:
Alberich family were regents in Khaenri'ah, who stepped up to rule the country when the King Irmin became unable to do so.
From recent info in 3.6 region's notes near the Gates of Khaenri'ah, we know that the first regent of Khaenri'ah (during the Cataclysm) was Knight-Marshal Anfortas, leader of the Schwanenritter (swan knights).
Said Schwanenritter helped Sumerians fight against monsters of the Abyss during the invasion, and were even perceived as heroes by some.

Fun fact if you don't know. Pierro, the director of the fatui harbingers also a khaenri'ahn.and he lived with the abyss sibling (aether in my and your case) in khaenri'ah for some time
this quest was really nice, you could really feel the absence of Paimon, which was quite pleasant
I forgot how good this quest was.
I do agree that Caribert is THE Quest that gives you the most lore about the Abyss and it's founding.
That being said, um… When's Fontaine Archon Quest Part 2 ? ^-^

They really ruined the quest with the english VA of alberich, seeing people play in english and immediately be on their guard with him thinking he is a bad guy because he sounds like a psycho from the start is stpid when in JP he starts normal and slowly descends into madness as its supposed to be.
