When Kaeya were talking about Razor looking for his "father", it wasn't an attack against Diluc, it was his own daddy issues showing.
The same way Klee did say "Mom" because she is closer to her mom who "left" her, Kaeya understand Razor's problems because he was left behind by his own father.
Diluc answered "i understand" because of his own daddy issues but also because he know Kaeya's story with his father..
Is it just me? or was anyone else disappointed about the fact that Razor's parents got the NPC treatment because this still really bothers me and makes me hate hoyoverse more
What a great event!
Now I'm started to think that Ludi Harpastum won't be an event-locked festival but plays an important role in we-don't-know-when archon quest in far future. Just like how back in 1.6 there's an event story quest that teases Sabzerus festival, that make most of us thought that it will be featured as an event-only quest but turns out it IS a part of Sumeru's main archon quest. I'm 100% sure with what Varka's been doing for this time will come to play in far future
Can't wait for that time to come, I hope we all ready for whatever it has.

Agree about Lisa. Right before heading into Sumeru I tried to go back and see if I could ask her for more information, and since I got into this event before the latest archon quests I was hoping to see if I could ask her about the governmental structure and all the basic details necessary to know how to investigate. (At the time it seemed the obvious option was to act as a blatant source of pressure and see what didn't respond by flexing in the direction it ought to. I… actually regretted not being able to take that commission to deliver a dramatic reading of love poetry, the more so in retrospect: it was as good a way to start finding out what was going on as any, and might have proved safer.)

It was through Venti's blessing that Laser could see his parents in the past. After the event is over, you can find Venti and talk to him, and he tells that he had a hard time holding his breath to bring back the wind from long ago. (Sorry for bad English, I use translator)
The content and happy look on Razor's face in the ending cutscene made me sob out the whole of Niagara Falls. Never felt more proud of my most favorite wolfie main carry.
It's events and moments like this whole story that leaves me optimistic for other characters to get the spotlight eventually. Like Qiqi and Keqing finally getting story quests of their own. I bet Qiqi's will happen when Baizhu eventually becomes playable. There's a lot of potential for Hoyoverse to make us return to these old regions with something new to experience and that's what i love about this game! Nobody is truly forgotten; they just haven't found their time to shine yet.
To be honest i did not expected much of this event.. but it was good

7:45 In the Japanese version, Mika actually adopts (or attempts to adopt) a deep boisterous voice while reading Varka's letter in order to mimic Varka's speech. So it's quite funny how you were expecting him to read it in Varka's voice, but they didn't do it in the English version.

You can interact with DIluc(standing in vineyard), Rosaria(outside of mondstadts gates looking toward springvale), Razor(Uh near the spot where we feed timmies ducks, just the cliff above that), Lisa(Sitting on the upper balcony of cats tail tavern/or good hunters..whatever that building is), Sucrose(At Cats Tails stall in springvale) and Venti(At the top of starsnatch cliff)

I cried the first time I watched the cutscene when I was playing the game myself and I cannot hold my tears again watching it again here. I used to read a manga about wine. And it says that wines are truly incredible product of human. People seals the barrel with wishes, hardworking, friendship or even love inside, and wait so patiently for the outcome. The time, or the Thousand Winds ferment not only the fruits, but changing the people who waiting for the good wine as well. Some people may become too old or ill to taste out the results, and some even cannot make it to see the wine completed. But the winemakers still make them, to give other people – their offsprings in this case- a chance to experience “the present” they had, like the lines from the parents said to their kids😂. Thanks hyv for bring us this moving event. (Sorry for my bad English)
I've beed dealing with, well, life, and Mondstadt, ever since GI came out, has managed to be the only (virtual) place to soothe me and make me feel like home. Really happy to see Hoyo returns to this lovely region regularly. But I hope we're not skipping Xmas in Dragonspine this year though.
No matter how many regions get released in Genshin… I will always feel home in Mondstadt that's for sure…It always feels good to be back in Mondstadt.!!!
This festival was just perfect because I’m running Klee, Razor, Bennett, and Venti on my team right now, so it’s like a celebration and fun time with my party of 4 off having adventures, especially that little cutscene at the end!
Most of the Mondstadt characters have some family issues backstory, but you see they all come together as family and take care of each other. Not to mention, Barbatos their Archon walks among them making sure his children are always looking forward for a brighter future despite all their painful past. MONDSTADT IS INDEED MY HOME AND VENTI IS MY COMFORT CHARACTER

Razor has great VA but my fave is his voice in JP.. and love how he called his parents mama and papa cause it feels more intimate than father and mother..

I think it's a mistranslation. Because in the Chinese ver Paimon says is just random stuff instead of junk.
Mondstadt, the place where our journey begun. I never feel like home any other region rather than Mondstadt. I always put my character under the Anemo statue before I log out everyday.
