  1. Beginners; use your resin. The fact that artifact grinding is not efficient at lower AR doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. Lay lines, talent books, world bosses, whatever. Just use it. Yes, the drops won't be as good, but not using it is the worst thing you can do.

Don't be me. Use your resin.

  2. hi moga you probably not going to read this but could you try my team:
    yun jin: buff
    beidou: burst damage
    water boy: burst
qiqi: driver for all the buff
all the burst get bonuses for fast atk but you could switch qiqi for yoimiya

  3. about reactions. having a geo main ( i main Ningguang ) have ganyu as a sup dps. i do ganyu's ult then e then ningguang e the ult anf then crystalize is the reaction it comes by and it does big damage so yea don't underestimate the geo mains.

  4. I actually have a set priority when raising characters.

    1st Priority: Character level
    — leveled to 80 at least
    — permanent and a guaranteed upgrade, no matter how small or large of an improvement
    — gain access to higher level of talents and passives
    — gain higher character specific stats upon character ascension

2nd Priority: Character talents (lvl 1-6)
    — also a permanent and guaranteed upgrade
    — focus on this to at least lvl 6 on important talents, i.e. Diona's skill and burst at level 6 but leave normal attacks on level 1
    — unlike raising character levels, raising talent levels have noticeable effects on your characters
    — to make things efficient, farm for talent books for days when it's available and then character ascension materials for the rest of the week.

    3rd Priority: Character weapon
    — I believe that some players prefer to leave weapons on level 80 as well, but I raise them to 90 because the enhancement ores are so much easier to get than exp books
    — semi-permanent upgrade because Mihoyo will eventually dish out newer and better weapons, i.e. electro dps Keqing's BiS weapon changing from Jade Cutter (BiS for a almost half a year) to Mistsplitter upon release
    — the downside to this is you can't take back the materials you used to ascend the weapons

4th Priority: Character Talents (lvl 7 to highest level you want) (optional)
    — only consider this for the important talents
    — permanent and guaranteed upgrade
    — the reason why I think that this is a lower priority to weapons despite being permanent is because you can basically clear the main game with lvl 6 talents, and weapon levels and passive play a bigger in battles

    5th Priority: Artifacts
    — basically, RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG
    — lowest priority because you might end up farming for decent to semi-decent artifacts for a very long time, i.e. the time I was farming for a single EM cup at VV domain for 6 months (I didn't even have a single offset EM cup in my inventory. Let alone a 4, 3, 2 or 1 star EM cup)
    — this gives the highest gain in improving your characters and this is where the strength of your account depends on

6th Priority: Character Talent (Least priority talents) (optional)
    — usually talents that don't give any drastic improvement to the character's kit, i.e. Diona's normal attacks
    — leaving them at level 1 is okay, but I like to raise them to level 6 just for the heck of it 😆

  5. This is the one I got really annoyed about. Many noobs who are about ar45 or F2P always see levels is all that matter or as a standpoint to brand someone to their category. In fact their lvl80/90 are so much weaker than my lvl50 or so. They are ignorant and arrogant I'd say.

  7. I was ignoring reactions for a really long time bc I loved anemo characters and basically nobody else (and used a team of Xiao, Jean, Sucrose and Zhongli) but then I got Raiden national… and WOW. Now I want to build a lot of reactions-based team comps, and get Hu Tao & Klee & Kokomi 😄

  8. How do you know you are out of the beginner league?
    36 star the abyss~
Best only get really started here once u are Adventure Rank 45+

There are people who spent a lot of money and still struggle here -> money makes things easier, but u can still screw up if u dont know what u are doing.
There are people who play F2P and 36 star the abyss. Those guys can be considered pro's in my humble opinion. Without understanding your main characters, I'd say you can't do this as a F2P.

  9. Little tip with the 5* artefacts: If you have troubles getting a good set for your character but don't want to waste too much resources, just lvl the somewhat decent pieces to lvl 16. They provide enough for characters to be usable. I recommend getting at least 3-4 5* artefacts just so the scaling is better. Why not stay with lvl 16 4* artefacts? Because 5* artefacts provide higher main stat, so it's a better option to pick(especially for supports, since usually you can give them some not some great sub stats as long as the main stat is okay.)

  10. Another tip use your resin to farm materials even if you don't need it now you'll need it one day. I remember being a low AR and just leaving my resin capped for weeks cause I didn't need to farm anything now I'm constantly out of resin

  11. Key advices :
    – Stay focus. Don't spread ressources raising many characters at once (especially ones who are not useful at the time or you hate playing).
    – Don't force artifact bonus set if their main stats are not recommanded
    – Raise aptitudes. Too many players forget about them
    – Never spend primo one the standard banner, NEVER !
    – AND, most importantly, play the characters you like and don't listen to tier lists !

  12. Im a veteran now but when i began i just leveled characters but for whatever reason i didnt level weapons or artefacts because i thought the recourses was very limited… and i played like that for months until i tried leveling a weapon. Lets just say i played in a stupid Way dont do as i did. Level your talents and weapons its a huge difference

  13. Really nice video! I haven't seen a lot of creators that still upload beginner guides but I think it's important to have some up-to-date guides too! I know a lot of beginners still want to artifact grind but really, don't do it before AR45. Focus on talent books ect. to increase your dmg and DO NOT use your fragile resin. Trust me you'll regret it. Even as a late-game player, I really enjoyed this video, nice work, Moga!

  14. Scaling in Genshin is weird. You'd think getting your talents to 6-8 with great CD would mean more DMG but with some characters not really. I had my Keqing built with 178% CD and her ULT a Lvl 8 and she would only crit for 13k like wtf is that. I have my Eula with the WGS with Talent Lvls 8-8-8 and she only crits for 140k…but then you see some with the same build and crit for more then that without buffs. Like bro…
