False Sky Theory – https://youtu.be/IQE9d8Df16I
Domains Theory – https://youtu.be/S7qsJMTMGJI
I finished this theory three separate times and after each time I added like another thousand words to the script only to end with this monstrosity. I fell down a very deep rabbit hole…
As always, thank you all so much for your support! Please let me know if you notice any inconsistencies or errors in the video and I will add that feedback in as an annotation here and in a pinned comment below.

I LOVED THIS THEORY!!! but this also creates a lot of questions. if the world tree, the ball of energy, is dying, how is it dying? perhaps the sustainer of heavenly principles is using the power to make herself stronger? and thus dainsleif is protecting the seed. however the question that arises then is how did dainsleif become immortal? all this time i thought that it was the Gods that made him immortal however because someone else commented about dainsleif being the bough keeper i don't think that he was cursed with immortality by the gods. perhaps he could've been cursed by the people of Khaenri'ah because at the time of their destruction, the eclipse dynasty had a lot of knowledge and perhaps they made dainsleif the bough keeper and cursed him with immortality, so he had to become the snake and he didn't know who to trust. this would also explain his magical powers and how the color scheme looks similar to the snake. this also makes sense as to why dainsleif is against the abyss order despite being from Khaenri'ah himself. our sibling and the abyss monsters think that destroying teyvat is the answer to everything however since dainsleif has the seed he is against that idea but he can't tell the truth outright. in the cutscene it is said that the first heir became evil and thought the they were the queen of darkness this makes sense now because our sibling was on their journey and they met dainsleif, the snake, and now it is our journey. our journey is to save our sibling and retreive the genesis pearl. well those were a bunch of random theories that popped up in my mind after watching your video. I will be waiting patiently for your next video!!❤️
You have the best lore vids on genshin
Am I the only one who don’t know what she is on about but watches the video anyways acting like I understood it entire
loved the theory so much, and even after looking through all of the lore vids u r the only one that gave a good explanation about the marks in the domains with the emerald tablet and i loved it truly, even the way u explained it was fantastic , so keep up the good work and thanks for the hard work in looking up all of that
I was thinking for awhile about this stuff and lore in general. I'll just put my bare thoughts here.
Ok. Theory: Memories/willpower: or (the thought of wanting something to happen = power). Basically willpower and a certain want for something to happen gives power in a character.
Ex: Ningguang wanted to become stronger – get out of poverty
Uh… another thing, since memories can be contained in stone: constellations are (technically) stone, constellations give power to characters. Can't artifacts also hold power too? Going off of your theory, if artifacts are made in domains/alchemical ruined civilizations?? and powered by the tree/leyline thing couldn't the power of memories/(willpower from previous owner-of-memories)(memories are power, power = the amount of willpower?) be the "blood" of the circulatory system of Teyvat????
Ok sorry, that was a lot. (I'm not that good at putting words together)
Basically:
leylines/trees (domains) are powered by memories.
The 5-star/4-star ratings of artifacts or anything is the amount of willpower collected?
(I'll sum it up in the next comment)
POST-VIDEO NOTES + CORRECTIONS:
– So the picture of the emerald tablet (illustration) with the triquetra on it is not the one that's supposed to be here. The triquetra is not in the original (historical) illustration, but was added later for flair in a TV show. I was trying to get a higher res version of the illustration and did not notice the difference. I have since found a better one on… wikipedia. Go figure. Here it is for those of you who want to see it – https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6b/Houghton_Typ_620.09.482_Heinrich_Khunrath%2C_Amphitheatrvm_sapientiae_aeternae.jpg
– A Triskelle isn't a uniquely Irish symbol, it's an ancient Celtic symbol.
– I mentioned this in the video but your mileage will vary when it comes to interpreting the Kabballah. I wanted to clarify that I am specifically referencing Hermetic Qabalah which is quite a bit different from Orthodox Kabbalah. Neither interpretation is necessarily wrong as they are both correct within their own contexts. I like to use metaphors I think a lot of people can understand, so this is also including my own interpretations. For example, traditionally, Chockmah means Wisdom whereas Binah means Understanding , but those are too abstract for me for practical use. So I liken Chockmah to a seed that is only fully usable when planted in the Ground(Binah), or else it will not sprout and grow. I treated each Sephiroth this way.
The following is taken straight from wikipedia's tree of life page, just as an example of how I reached these conclusions, "After "Binah", the universe gets down to the business of building the materials it will need to fulfill its evolution and be creating new combinations of those materials until it is so dense that, by the stage of "Malkuth", the initial pure limitless energy has solidified into the physical universe."
I have a very ominous feeling something bad happened to the pearl and therefore caused the disruption of all balance which is what resulted in the cataclysm…
Love the video! I have a few scattered musings that may spark some ideas.
First, in the Pale Princess, after the Prince of Light is betrayed and killed, his body is specifically noted as being stashed in a tree hole. I can’t help but suspect that this may be a metaphor for the the Irminsul tree, given the symbolism of the rest of the story.
Next, what if the red cubes Lumine witnessed during the fall of Khaenri’ah are actually the souls/memories of the citizens being sealed inside the tree/leylines? After all, the Sustainer does seal the other twin into a cube in the opening. This may only be the most recent of such events, the tree may contain the anguished souls of countless innocents of past civilizations that have been unjustly imprisoned.
If the previous speculation is true, what if the Abyss Order monsters weren’t the intended result of the gods’ interference, but rather an attempt on the part of the alchemists to escape such imprisonment, which ended up having (presumably) unintended consequences?
It’s notable that the Abyssal Twin never actually says that the cursed form of the Abyss denizens was an act by the aggressors, merely that Dainsleif failed to prevent the kingdom’s destruction, and was forced to witness its citizens transform into monsters. The two events are only described as contemporary, not causally-linked.
Assuming the previous conjectures are accurate, perhaps khemia is an attempt to harness the sealed power of the true creator/source of enlightenment, which is symbolically represented as the Genesis Pearl, sealed inside the earth and protected by a dangerous serpent (the Sustainer). The travelers were sent to “retrieve the pearl” insomuch as they are supposed to release the seal and restore the means by which people can escape the domination of the false gods/demiurge.
Didn't we also collect Irminsul Fruit Fragments in the recent Energy Amplifier Event?
And we use these fruits (or the knowledge they hold) to gain different powers to fight in the Twisted Realm challenges.
Anyways interesting stuff! I love how deep you dive into the theories but they really do seem to be connections there!
Alot of errors… I really start to dislike these theory vids. Before these vids are making sense somehow but now we see everywhere on YouTube one vid after another with so much errors. If you use symbols for example then look for the origin meaning not pop up with modern terms. My brain completely shuts down by "irish" symbol… Its not irish, Ireland doesnt existed as long as the triskele but yes its ALSO used in celtic regions but in alot if another regions because it has a meaning behind it why the ancient people created it… I could start with another errors but its exhausting to repeating to people who just discovered ancient symbols, paganism, alchemy archeology or the better term here for is ancient history of an ancient tribe/epoch /ect
About ur translation of the kabalahs' tree of life (ITS ACTUALLY THE SAME NAME LIKE THE ACTUAL ARTIFACTS TREE) its not very accurate
Lemmie translate at least the flat meaning of thouse things,
Kether- crown
Bina- intelligence
Chocmah- wisdom
Chesed- grace – like doing something good without asking for something in exchange
Gewurah- heroness? ( From the word hero and the ability to do things even when its hard)
Tipheret- glory like beauty
Nezach – ever like something lifes for nezach means it never dies
Hod – thanking (i thought its another beauty meaning but its from hodaya like Thanksgiving ( the chicken eating day?))
Yesod – material , more like primary colors ( the starting material to make everything) and if its a verb it means making out of nothing/founding
And i think it means the perfection of the human but thats just my thought
Can u explain how thouse tringles are made now? i didnt understand it
15:47 I recognize some the these, they appeared in Tales of Abyss
Have you compared childe's riptide symbol with the triquetra symbol that is everywhere.
Maybe the teacher of Childe is one of the sisters, idk there is very little info on it.
Holy crap I'm making sense of so much stuff now with all the new beautiful information u put together here, thank you!
Not just Genshin lore wise, I didn't even know about the emerald tablet till right now and I've always had this fascination with alchemy in fiction and literature, this is making my mind to go in the overdrive for so so many stuff!
Thanks for some of the best Genshin Impact content there is!
My headcanon has always been that the artifacts, weapons and materials are actually representations of the leyline memories, made by the tree using the cosmic energy (resin) we give it.
I can see that being both as a workplace for alchemy and an sacrificial altar at the same time, after all we do need to earn the blessing by combat and give the tree materials before getting our reward, and while this might be forcing it a bit id also consider the information we acquire from descriptions to be akin to "revelations" gifted to us by the tree of knowledge.
The tiaras sure do make the entire process seem as ritualistic and spiritual as it is useful and methodic.
I am so very curious about that "ancient capital" too…
When Sumeru comes put your channel is really gonna blow up. Sumeru is supposedly the center of academia in teyvat and is bound to be FULL of secrets and lore and alice has a connection to sumeru. Hopefully she becomes a playable character then!
👋🏼
The triquetra with the lines related to the moon is something very interesting, in the game there is a myth about three moons
10:46 I also thought that these are 6 eyes but when I rewatched the cut scene when we choose the sibling we want to play, I see now the wings of travelers, they have those strange elipses, 3 in a one wing. So we have now 2 travelers, each going to the depths of above and below? Idk xd just a thought I wanted to share. Keep up the great work 🙂
this is my first time seeing one of your vids, is it me or you sound a lot like venti english ver
Your lore theories are always fascinating and the amount of research done is just amazing, I love them.
Now it makes sense why and how Khaenriah – an underground civilization – becomes the most advanced civilization, by mastering the art of khemia a.k.a alchemy, since they are the closest to the alchemical tablets and the "alchemy-benches" (the irminsul trees), since alchemy itself is the "art of creating anything", and the theory that every (well not every, but majority) form of "power" in Teyvat is sourced from within the earth itself, becomes even more plausible.
Also perhaps the advancement of Khaenriah contributed to the "sour-ness" of the irminsul tree, somehow it was being misused by the citizen of Khaenriah (which led to Khaenriah's demise), to the point that the tree;s thought became ominous, i think it is very likely that the "misuse" is related to the things that Dainsleif really hate (remember Albedo's trailer, where Dainsleif said that if Albedo were to make any mistake, Dainsleif will take matters into his own hands directly), which also supports the theory that Dainsleif is the one guarding the pearl.
What I saw on Teyvat, Paimon's clock was upside down, the board on which Wagner was forging was upside down, the Dawn Winery signboard was flipped (as was the sign elsewhere).
In addition, there is an event about energy amplifier initiation or Twisted Realm, which is located in Nantianmen. What do u think ?
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're my new favorite channel on here, congrats on your theories, they go incredibly in-depth and it really looks like they could be true to what the developers created. I turned the notifications for your channel on and am officially hooked!!!
Am I too nosey if I ask what field you study in (if you're a student/teacher/scholar etc)? Both me and my bf were wondering while watching!!
P.S. I noticed at 3:51 that you said the Emerald tablet is 12000 years old, was it supposed to be 1200 or is it really that old??
Have a nice day!! <3 <3
