Don't worry too much about people calling you unsympathetic. There will always be people that misrepresent your words. Sometimes we can consider whether the words we use aren't as clear as they should be, but other times you just have to accept that some people are just going to get mad no matter what you do.

its so weird how different sides of the genshin fandom is, youtubers talking about 'ENDGAME' like its the most important thing ,
while most of us on twitter , artists, writers, creators who actually iN LOVE with what the game truely gives , thats its incredible story and characters ¬
like the youtubes its SO out of touch what huge part of the fandom is its incredible to me
I'm not affected at this point, I have 3 accounts, all of which are AR55+
Intentionally held off exploring Enkanomiya and Chasm for something like this. I have not unlocked Chasm underground on 2 accounts, taking my sweet time
Keeping Genshin as a side game really helped with not getting burned out
I am ok with it, if i want actual endgame i do Savage raids in FFXIV. Of course i would like new content outside of Abyss for end stuff.
My backlog is large so i can perhaps finally finish Horizon 2, Elden Ring and Dying Light 2
It is a shame and also with what is happening out there, i hope they all stay safe but would like many things changed and stuff added to Genshin. Completely unrelated but is this also why Teapot has been broken for over a month now?
If Honkai Star Rail comes out with a better endgame and Transfer of Experience and Knowledge from Honkai then I can say Genshin was nothing more that a very successful proof of concept for Open World design.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember right first there were leaks about BP needing less exp for level? Something like 600? and first it was like, oh, yes, BP will be changed! and leakers at the time already speculated about a delay of 2.7 update. and it wasn't like… yesterday. So hoyoverse knew before, couldn't they prepare something for players? like let's run old events, hell even put Keqing banner back? Tell me they at least taken care of their employees if they decided to do nothing in game.
damn people are so sensitive lol. Wanting decent endgame content ≠ addicted. I play for no more than 40 minutes a day and I think the amount of endgame content there is is shit.

I think nothing will change for casual players, they will log in for 15-20 minutes as usual, do dailies, log out. Many people don't even do every event till all rewards and have r1-r3 event weapons, you know. And nothing will change for hardcore players, just their whining about lack of endgame content will have one more piece of proof (like there wasn't enough proof of that already). In the end, genshin is a casual game for people who don't have enough time to grind for hours every day but don't want to feel excluded and miss too much rewards. For this people this five weeks would go unnoticed, especially if they didn't finish world quests, hangouts and other stuff (and there are many of them who actually didn't)

The issue: Lack of endgame content.
Have you at any point during making this video thought about the option of just not only play Genshin Impact?
Yes, for you someone who clearly has done everything in the game, there is nothing to do so don't play. The game, no just Genshin, any game where you have done and experienced everything can't provide you with new content anymore because by your own playstate you can completed it. All that's left is to wait and maybe play something else. You can still login in and complete your daily commisions, it takes only 30 minutes if you want to not lose primogems but it's okay if you'd reached the point of a game where that is the routine cycle.
Naoki Yoshida, the lead director of FF XIV once said in response to your very question this: "It's alright not to play it everyday. Since it's just a game, you can stop forcing yourself if it's hard on you to keep that up. Rather, it'll just pile up unnecessary stress if you limit yourself into playing just that one game since there are so many other games out there. So, do come back and play it to your heart's content when the major patch kicks in, then stop it to play other games before you got burnt out, and then come back for another major patch. This will actually make me happier, and in the end, I think this is the best solution I can answer for keeping your motivation up for the game." and this a quote you should be taking very to heart because you are at this point of burning out because regardless of your disclaimers you are demanding content. Genshin Impact isn't forcing you to spend hours in the game. HoyoVerse isn't forcing you to always play the game. The game asks for atmost 30 minutes to complete the daily missions. After that do something else. If you worry is that your Youtube content will suffers because from your past videoes it seems as you are solely a Genshin Impact content creator, diversify your content right now. Just like you tell new players that this is the perfect time to jump in due to the delay it's the perfect time for you to look into different options for your own content and pasttime enjoyment. Do not force content out of a game. You'll only burn yourself on enjoying it in the future.
The endgame is garbage, looking for a month, if not months for 1 artifact piece. Its F'N stupid. TBH I'm glad 2.7 has been delayed, it gives me time to actually explore all the islands.

Simple Solution: Turn old events like Windtrace back on. That would fill a few weeks no problem.

The resin system and shitty artifact system is what makes endgame a problem … actually they can make some past events a permanent domain so every players can play it when they're out of content. The very first mona fischl event was actually a great one and i don't know why it isn't back since
