The Character traits of each Vision | Genshin Impact

I noticed that most pyro characters have similar traits, so I thought of the different traits that the different visions have. Cryo was by far the hardest to find the similarity because there are so many characters with different personalities. What are your thoughts about the character traits of each vision? Can you think up of more similarities? Let me know

  1. About Jean and her being the odd one among the anemo vision holders, she "lost" her sister and her youthful freecare due to the divorce between her parents. She felt that she needed to prove herself to Mondstadt, that she is worthy of being the descendant of both the lion knight and the dandelion knight.

So, even if she didn't actually lose her sister she felt like she lost a part of her family and that she needed to prove herself worthy.

  2. For cryo I would say they all are outliers and/or don’t fit in. Ex. Diona is living in the city of Wine and song even though she hates Wine. I believe anemo would go better with freedom from something ex. Sayu, freedom from work.

  3. For everyone with geo visions- I guess it could be that they look different than they really are on the inside:
    – Zhongli – looks like a quiet and calm gentleman but he's able to kill thousands just with a snap of his finger,

    – Ningguang – at first looks like a typical, arrogant rich person who only cares about herself but she actually cares about people of Liyue to the point where she sacrificed the thing that she worked for her whole life,

    – Noelle – seems like a fragile, shy maid but is probably stronger than most men in Mondstad,

    – Albedo – seems like a completely cold person who just wants to stay alone on the Dragonspine but in reality he's just trying protect Mondstad from himself OR he looks human but is actually a homonculus,

    – Gorou – similarly to Noelle, he looks cute, like a cuddly dog but he's a warrior, a great general, ready to fight for his people

    – Itto – on the outside looks like an unhinged, people-eating monster, but when you meet him, he turns out to be a great guy who cares about people and is ready to step in whenever someone gets bullied.

There's quite a lot of irl rocks that look simple on the outside, but are beautiful on the inside, like for example ,,geode", so maybe this whole thing isn't that far off?

  4. Is it just me or does Cryo and Anemo vision's ambition compliment each other. For me, Anemo should have experienced great grief or loss of someone important to them. And for Cryo is that they are indifferent and sometimes do not fit in. Idk bout yall, but this reminds me of Barbatos and Tsaritsa. We know that these two had a good relationship and was close before the Cataclysm 500 years ago. Besides losing the Nameless Bard, it seems Barbatos lost Tsaritsa too, in which Tsaritsa cut off ties with him. As for Tsaritsa being the God of Love acts quite differently, it seems after what happened between her and Barbatos she changed as what Barbatos said he didn't know her anymore. Despite being the Goddess of Love, Tsarita doesn't really show that (as of now), this possibly causes her to be different than possible candidates being the God of Love.

Disclaimer: Tsaritsa being the God of Love is just speculation. So is this analysis.

  5. I like to think Electro could be a strive for smaller eternities.
Keqing strives for Liyue to be great without the gods (for eternity)
Razor strives to always be there for his family/friends (for eternity)
Fischl strives to live her life the way she wants as Fischl and not Amy (for eternity)
Sara strives to keep the Kanjo commissions reputation to continue to be proud and standing tall (for eternity)
Lisa is the only one who doesn't really fit but you could argue she strives to gain/preserve knowledge/stories her way- since she left the academia (for eternity).

Now obviously these "eternities" aren't literally meant for forever but I think that's kinda what we were shown in the Inazuma story. Yes the city and its people may stand for eternity but it will still be forever changing. So while an overall picture can withstand time, smaller things are always changing. Kinda like how Yoimiya explains it. It's like fireworks, the memories of them last but the firework itself is just for a moment.

  6. many people theories cryo represents inner conflict:

Diona is a bartender even though she hates wine
Eula joined the Knights even though she was part of the Lawrence clan
Ganyu is constantly struggling between human society and being an Adeptus
Qiqi simply can’t remember anything so I don’t really have an answer for her but she is a healer in game but a zombie
Kaeya is torn between Mondstadt, the place that raised him and Khaenri'ah, the country he’s from
Ayaka has to be a perfect princess but she just wants to be a normal person
And as you said Rosaria I was raised by bandits and now she fights them
