I agree with you 100%, as usual. That said… for me honestly the banner is kind of dead. I got Yoimia, and my Xinyan and Yun Jin are already C6. Benny is C4. If I get a copy of Benny early on, I'll stop rolling entirely. As it is, I'm only rolling a max of 28 wishes on it. At the end of Klee's banner I'm going to be about 42 into my guarantee, unless a miracle happens and I still get Klee bottom of the ninth. I want to carry my guarantee over to Sumeru.
i might be insane but, if I had the primos and the will to farm them, i would definitely pull for yoimiya. i would like constellations for yun jin and i wouldn't mind getting xinyan cause i do love her, even if she's not meta. bennett is already c3 though he's not built because i made it to endgame before i got him. i would also like to get yoimiya cause i only have yanfei as a pyro dps
You shouldn't listen to somebody who says "Pull for whoever you want, the game is easy" and "Don't listen to meta players" because they're not going to help you progress trough the game and they clearly don't know what they are talking about
For me personally, this Banner is a complete dud. I have all of the 4 stars C6 already. I kind of want Yoimia but a C1 Kazuha is also an option.
I quit and before deleting the game i wasted everything i had ( best artifacts etc ) and of course the last 1 pull i did i got kazuha, even getting all 5 stars at c6 wasn't enough to keep me playing, deleting it felt amazing and i'm so glad i don't have to do the daily stuff or be worried about gacha anymore
That weapon banner's just awful. It's Mistsplitter on 2.6 levels of cruel all over again. Bennett and Yun Jin are pretty great with constellations (well, c6 Benny is debatable and depends on the person) but it's a risk to take for non-Yoimiya wanters as usual. But for someone who wants more than one character, 5* included, it's a nice banner. I'm a bit bummed out since I have all 4* on c6 (Benny's is not activated), but that also means I won't be over-wishing for them if I get Yoimiya on my 50/50. Then fully saving until Kusanali or maybe Cyno or Scaramouche
Some of the puzzles are harder than the fight, so, yes the game is easy. And there is no meta in solving puzzle, but thank God yt exist.

i’m sorry yoimiya, it just wasn’t meant to be. My primogems are going to the sumeru characters- but dang poor yoimiya they put her in a bad spot again but gave her amazing 4* well two good four stars, maybe if xinyan got a kit to make her playable.

I rank a banner's value in the perspective of a new player. If they get Yoimiya, Yun Jin, and Bennett, they only need to slot in Xingqui on the 4th slot and they already have a solid team. So, yes, the character banner is good value but the same can't be said for the weapon banner

I never understood tier list for genshin the game hasn't changed since launch so the tier list shouldn't change at all

I have enough for a guaranteed five star, but not enough right now for a guaranteed Yoimiya. Primos for second half seems promising though, AND I also will probably get Bennett and Yunjin cons. I don’t have Xinyan so that free fate is welcome.
If you WANT her then it's not bait 4 head.
If you already have a Xingqiu or Yelan then this would be the perfect banner for anyone (especially early/mid game players) who needs a pyro dps with a good team comp.

When weapon banner is out yesterday I was like what the heck is all this crap… can't believe my eyes, lmao🤣🤣
I’m still debating on either grabbing Yoimiya on her rerun or getting the dendro dude. Originally I had planned to get Yoimiya but I had some weird ass luck.
I was going for Heizou and wanted to just build pity. Ended up getting Mona on the first ten pull. I was like ok cool, I’m at guaranteed. Very next 10 pull I get Klee. I’m and still no Heizou. I’m like seriously? So I gave up. Very next day I decided to do 1 more 10 pull, this time on Kazuha’s banner. And bam, C1 Kazuha. Now keep in mind I didn’t want any of the 5 stars. I did get one Heizou with that Kazuha at least.
But now I’m back at 50/50 and saving up Incase I lose and have to roll again. But now I have to choose between Yoimiya or Tighnari. I’m thinking Yoimiya since it’s the dendro dudes first run. So he’ll come back again. I guess I’ll see.
I would pull for her if her gameplay kit was different. Instead of having normal attack fire arrows why not shoot explosive arrows with small aoe that can also stagger enemies. Like that would be fun to use. But right now I don’t see a reason to pull for her.

This banner is not for those that focus on meta. The people pulling on this banner are those that love the character despite what people slander the character for. Im really wanting Yoimiya but pretty burnt out due to maximizing 4 characters at the moment

I feel pity that weapon banners is just a repeatable cycle, a number of 5* weapons are too many and not even adding the standard banner and people especially whale pulling r20+ or even many weapons in standard banner that reaches r5 for just only signature weapon. Idk why whale still do that for the such easy game that not given any privileges for whale so let me compare like this:
In honkai, if you whale or low spender, you feel how endgame content is, you follow meta, you feel happy because you deserve very good rewards and express the hall of fame than Genshin Impact. Another games like Guardian tales, Arknights, Blue archive, Alchemy stars etc that I have played it, these are not only have endgame content but also are more generous during 1.5+ anniversary, that is how the good community is even it is not a billion dollar company.
In this statement Genshin impact do not have any privileges for whale just make equal to f2p and low spender, shops are useless not giving any offer, endgame content is like a silly joke, story does not make any sense, story like a kids, not even adult jokes. Summer event 2.8 in Genshin I should say it is really long and too boring and also burn the candle at both ends for oldbies and even newbies and really low rewards than other previous version (54.8 wishes total accroding to leaks), why don't they make long story with double or triple rewards instead of remain unchanged? I spend over 10 hours still unfinished the quest and reward does not even get higher, I do not khow how to say it is a chill game? Now I realized that it is a FOMO strategy for players that force to play it, what a shame. I know lots of people are quit and even skip the event instead of trying to play this braindead event for eating few primogems. Also lots of people are criticizing the event is so bad that because the reward does not even get better like I said.
Some content creators like whaling for c6r5 in every single banner, money or estate are limited until they are empty-handed (like tectone he was burnt out, he sold all the figures to buy for c6r5 waifu to make video). Multi billion compay does not mean people will impress the company if the community makes even worse.
