  1. This isn't giving me much hope. I'm a F2P player and my best character is a level 90 Kaeya. Don't have many if any great weapons. Nor many if any great artifacts. Think I'm on my 4th or 5th reroll. I think my best character is Thoma or Xiangiling but I only have him on level 40 or 50 and Xiangiling at level 90. Only have C1 or C2 characters if that. My only max constellation character is Lumine. Never tried Aether but at this rate? What's the point. And I'm disabled playing for what, 2 years? So all I do is play Genshin pretty much. So that let's you know what's up

  4. Kekvin I think it a better if you use Favonius lance on Zhongli bc that helps Zhongli generate particles when his pillar is up and that should help you bring up Xiaos burst quicker. When i use it on him everyone on my party mostly has their burst up.

Well I got Zhongli after losing 50/50 and after hard pity, but at his previous rerun begining at second phase with Lantern Rite festival event, but I got guaranteed Ganyu after 30 pulls, because I had built pity, but before Zhongli, well it was my 1st time I was pulling both from double rerun banner, but was once in January at begining this year.
    Zhongli costed me 85% wishes, but definatelly worth it, because he can make my gaming way more easier besides Kazuha.
    I going pull in Kokomi's rerun banner in this patch at 2nd phase, I have guaranteed and at 26, I just only need get primogems for her, that may be bunch in Sumeru.

  22. Build physical xiao you have to level his normal attacks anyway for his burst and once his atk and cr/cd stats are good you'll still do a lot of dmg with his burst. I temporally built him physical for the Raiden fight and ended up leaving him with that build for a while because it was so good.

  24. Okey this is going to be a long comment!! (TL:DR at the end)

    You mentioned your interest on building one more dps, and i wanted to analice and give my advice and opinion on the current roaster of characters you have and what are your options:

    -Regarding Xiao, he is a quite good character for this challenge. We have such a small roaster of characters and elements that him being one of the few units that does not need elemental reactions is a plus, he does his damage on his own.

    His cons are mainly that he has some energy problems because he can't generate his own particles during his bursts and the othen one is that he is so emo he can't stop self-harming so he needs deffensive supports. Luckily you just got Zhong li!!
    Zhong li, even tho he does not heal, he is a great shielder and would, for sure, be really helpful support for xiao; building him as a shieldbot would just mean to use your shield (which also shread elemental resistences) and swap and let Xiao be the on-field king he is, this is also a very forgiving and f2p friendly way to build zhong li; just stack up hp, ignore set bonuses for now and spend your resing on your main damage dealers and give zhong li the hp% scraps you get along the way, also, he has access to the black tassel, a 3* hp polearm that you already have and will be easy to lvl up, just a great cheap build he has.
    On the energy problems, if they get too hard, you have a favonius spear. They are the perfect weapon for a support to help an energy-hungry carry. Anyone can weild it and make use of it and with some practice on rotations, it will make such a difference having it to not having it.

    -On the other hand, i want to talk about Xiangling and Rosaria.
    When you talked about wanting to use a physical dps i started thinking and thinking,,,,, because you have no access to super conduct, how could you build it and be worth? The first option is zhong li, he shelds resistances and has a fast quick combo for cresent pike so he could be good at it by himself, but it would be such a waste to not use him as a shielder.
    Then i remembered how cresent is so good on him, on his AA sequence: it procs better on characters with a lot of little fast hits. AND then i remembered old early genshin f2p math, when xiangling was the best "free-characters only" dps comp because of her aa working really great with cresent pike, so, if we give her cresent pike and make her an on field dps, without super conduct reactions, how can we make the most out her being on-field the most? Rosaria.

    Because xiangling would be a physical dps in this case, we have the problem of her pyronado being useless dmg-wise, but it still is a great pyro applicator with no ICD on it. Rosaria on the other hand, she has also a great ult but with lower cryo application, but this perfect for us, it means Rosaria can be an off-field dps on a reverse melt comp. Her ult can reverse melt all of its hits in combo with pyronado. This team comp seems really fun with xiangling being not only an on-field -getting all particles-physical carry but also a pyro enabler for rosaria.
    Weapon and artifact-wise is also really f2p friendly, eventhough rosaria would prefer 4pc lava walker and dragon's bane, she can really work with the free polearm the catch or other energy er weapon and 2pc noblesse + 2pc anything is also great and on xiangling's part 2pc bloodstain and 2pc pale flame/+18atk% set works like a charm.

    NOTE: full pyro + er xiangling + full em rosaria would be better but 100 times more expenssive

    Full teamcomps i would recomend for these 2 teams would be
    -Xiao + zhongli + yun yin + xiangling (for lithic's passive)
    -Xiangling + Rosaria + yun yin + Thoma
    -(and honestly this one is great too) Xiao + zhongli + xiangling + rosaria

    Finally i want to talk about upcoming new characters: Cyno and Candace (can someone explain me why her name is so funny)

    I won't talk about leaks so i can't barely talk about Candace but on cyno, i have the feeling that he will be a very elemental reaction focused character, as mihoyo is trying to make more of those on sumeru, probably will even be perfect for dendro reactions so i am afraid he won't be game-chaging on this challenge if that is the case, or maybe he will be reaction focused but will work with Candace, who knows!

    TL:DR: Xiao + zhong li are such a great pair with one being dps and the other being full shield bot and both being quite f2p friendly together and Xiangling + Rosaria seems such a great pair with the resorurces he can get so far with xiangling being a physical on field carry and pyro enabler for a reverse melt rosaria.

    OKEY that's all i think?? sorry for being a nerd but some how i hyper fixated on this at 4 in the morning after a night out and now it's almost 5 AM and i don't waNT TO CONTINUE WRITING I REGREAT THIS SO MUCH NOW AND I AM MISSING THINGS I THINK??? nevermind!!! Such a great series, i was binge watching it for an hour before i started this so thx for making my night this great!!!

  27. hello hello, dedicated zhongli main since december 3rd 2020 here!

    to get the best of both worlds with him–both good burst + NA damage and solid shields–i suggest any 2 piece combination of petra/noblesse/tenacity, main stats hp / geo dmg / crit, and either black tassel or prototype starglitter for non-gacha weapons. with a 1 to 2 crit ratio and even just ~30k hp, he functions extremely well with both a beefed up burst, nice NA strings (remember to use his charge attack for mobility in battle!), and shield coverage.
