A new Genshin Impact 3.0 leak has revealed more information about one of the upcoming characters, Nilou. She is rumored to be a five-star character expected to arrive in Genshin 3.1 or 3.2. Please do take this info with a grain of salt as these are not confirmed by Mihoyo or Hoyoverse. According to the leak, Nilouās kit will have the following effects:
Her passive Talent allows Bloom seeds to Rupture immediately and boosts the damage multiplier.
Her Elemental Skill will have four different sword slashes. She will perform the first sword slash upon activating the skill, however, the remaining three attacks can be triggered by pressing her e skill button again or by performing a Normal Attack. Even though they have a similar effect, the slashes have different animations.
Nilouās Elemental Burst deals Hydro damage in a large area of effect. Upon inflicting damage to a target, she will deal additional splash damage.
It is also revealed by the leak that Both her skills have an 18-second cooldown, which is the main reason why we think she wonāt be a DPS character. However, the leak also confirms that acquiring her last constellation will remove the four-slash limit on her elemental skill, and it will allow her to have constant Hydro infusion, something unusual for sword characters. Thus, Nilouās C6 has the potential to completely change her playstyle from being a Hydro support to the main DPS character. Sadly, unless you can whale, this effect will not be achieved by free-to-play and dolphins.
Finally, it doesnāt appear that she will have healing abilities. As a hydro vision, it was initially rumored that she will have healing abilities. The good news is that the upcoming electro claymore, Dori, who is coming in Genshin 3.0 will be a 4-star electro healer. Additionally, a rumored upcoming 4-star hydro polearm user named Candace could be the first hydro shield if she arrives. With so many hydro applicators already available in the game, it would be great if Nilou could be an H-P based 5-star hydro support who can increase H-P, apply hydro, heal, and shield because that would make her more sought after. However, these leaked skills are not confirmed yet by Mihoyo so thereās a possibility that they might change it before release.

Genshin Impact takes place in the world of Teyvat, and is composed of seven major nations being Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya, each ruled by a god. The mysterious floating island of Celestia is allegedly home to gods and mortals who have ascended to godhood through great, heroic feats. Underground lie the ruins of the nation of Khaenriāah which was destroyed by gods 500 years before the events of the game. Unlike the seven major nations, Khaenriāah was not ruled over by a god. The player character, the Traveler (male or female depending on the playerās choice), is separated from their twin and becomes trapped in Teyvat. They are joined by a companion, Paimon, as they journey through Teyvat in search for their lost sibling. The male traveler is named Aether, and the female traveler is named Lumine; although players can choose the name they want to be referred by, the Travelerās sibling (whichever twin not chosen at the start of the game) refers to the Traveler by either Aether or Lumine (depending on the gender of the playerās chosen twin), regardless of their custom name.

i think she has powerful dendro reaction. c0 for quickswap c6 for main dps. only if she wasnt hydro becoz i hv too many gd hydro units. getting another hydro kinda over doing for me now

i think sheāll still be good because either way, we get hydro application and an occasional nuke. hydro application being so op saves so many characters such as kokomi. even if nilou only buffs bloom teams, she can still have uses elsewhere, just maybe not the best option but she works! sheās more of another case of a ābalanced characterā just like itto yoimiya xiao kokomi ayato. right now, hoyoverse is outting out more balanced characters which i find healthy for a gacha game

I think instead of healing, we need another revive ability of some kind. Or an HP draining ability would be cool. Neither would probably be on Nilou, though.

I just hope that, besides Dendro, we could get one 4ā and one 5ā from each element in Sumeru; something quite leveled about the rarities.
I might just try to build her as a healer and see how she does. If sheās worse then barbs then Iāll just keep barb.

The only bad thing i can see in her is the cd i dont want her to be dps but the cd should be at most 13 seconds
