  1. TL:DW: Mika's buff is only active for the ON FIELD character. So if you swap out Eula to pop her burst early, the burst detonates about .5 of a sec after the sword pops while swapping is instant. AKA she is no longer the ON FIELD character when the damage is delivered. So no buff. I don't see this really as a problem except for Eula's first passive where you quick swap often, as if you are wanting a max DMG ult you are normally on for the entirety of the burst duration. You normally only early pop it to finish off an enemy or to quickly clear groups of small enemies. So while people are making a big deal of this I think its greatly exaggerated and I think Mika is a fantastic support for Eula still.

  2. It kind of is a big deal tho…
You that have more cons on Eula should go through this situation quite often, where building extra stacks on her burst just means extra overkill.
Long story short, you will only ever use Mika's buffs on bosses, as you will often go past the amount of dmg needed to kill on smaller mobs.

I think it's something that they could have easily fixed if they wanted him to synergyze with Eula. They could have made it so that the entire party gets the buff for 12 seconds (I'm aware that it sounds stupid, but think about it, his buff provides atk speed and phys dmg bonus, not a single character does off field phys dmg, and I find it very unlikely that there will ever be one in the future, just because of the nature of the characters using their Elemental vision to use their bursts and skills, highly unlikely that there will be an off field phys dmg dealer), or they could make it so that the buff refreshes once every second for 12 seconds, and have the buff last 2 seconds or something.
Makes you think that they are making purposedly making janky characters.

  3. How about Mika and c5 bennett is that even possible gonna test it later to see if it works.

I'm sorry for most of the content creators who can't use bennett with physical characters they are now stuck with Mika πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

  4. The quick swap Eula works only when you have her C6 since you're not "forced" to do the entire rotation until her burst pops, besides that Mika C0 is pretty underwhelming especially against single target since you get just 10% physical dmg bonus. Sure, he's better agansts groups where you can get 3 or 4 stacks from his skill but that's it, and the atk speed is not that big, I mean it's nice to have it and you can get 1 or 2 more stacks for Eula's burst, but it's not a huge boost in damage. On the other hand you get a big boost with Mika's C6 and that 60% physical crit dmg and sadly that's what we got lately with other 4* like Sara, Gorou and Faruzan. Not a fan of it, that's why I preferred to go for the Mistsplitter, which I luckily got in 2 tries (aka 140 ish pulls), so my Eula will wait for her Broken Pines to get a damage boost. Definitely less expensive than a C6 support.

  5. Most things are not as big a deal as some people blow them up to be on the internet, I agree.
But with that said, I don't like how the developers "knowingly" put that in there to "force" people to keep Eula on the field. Players who just get a few stacks and swap out, thinking it should be enough damage to finish off the enemy, will NOT get that extra boost from Mika to insure it is indeed enough.
    Anyway I digress.

    Good video!

  6. Honestly, i am rapidly losing my hype/interest in the new characters at this point. First my favorite and most anticipated Sumeru character turns out to be trash and now Mika doesn't work that great with my other favorite character. I might only pull only for the remaining Archon's for the collection at this point and ignore/skip everyone else (inb4 Focalors also have a garbage kit).

  7. He still definitely is the dedicated Physical support, just probably for a different physical character. Like how Sara c6 is amazing for electro units, but Cyno doesn't work with her

  8. My current Eula Team is Kuki, Rosaria, Raiden, Eula tbh the drastically larger upgrade I'll get is if I get c2 raiden on that team having a 2nd main dps to clean up when Eula misses her burst. If I ever got Mika it would just replace Kuki which she's fine so I don't see a reason to use him.

  9. Nobody else? Hmmm Razor exists and Razor is electro physical hybrid so auto superconduct??? C6 razor also has an attack speed buff while in ultimate too. People really sleep on razor huh? Each their own I suppose is right.

  10. Mika dont work on eulas burst if you play bad, cuz why would you quickswap when you have to stack her burst and also there is no reason to use her burst to a mob that can be easily kill with her E and NA

  11. Im not too interested in Mika, what I only liked about him was his attack speed bonus. What I would prefer is an off field physical damage dealer character, not just damage buffer.

  12. what's crazy is i kinda wanted him, and ever since i realized how dogshit he'd be EVEN FOR EULA, i thought, nah fuck it. I don't want him. Still rolled for shenhe and ayaka and hard dodged this twink ass LMAO i got like 7 sucrose 4 diona and 0 mika. Thank god. he's c6 or bust to barely provide a bigger buff than bennet and even then his healing's ass bro. how tf you gonna sit there and tell me 2.5sec intervals of those piss dookie numbers with extremely high ER requirements is gonna be enough? LMAO and for bosses he can provide at most 10% phys dmg bonus. Literally rosaria is better. she can battery much better than him and provide way more damage than he can with his buffs, and at c6 she's also decent enough to support eula. you still need another healer with mika so there ain't no way this kid is it.

  13. At least it's not Shogun doesn't trigger Beidou burst for literally no reason…
But they totally could make like character keep buff for 1 second after leaving.

  14. Basically Mika works find with Eula unless you are a quick swap Andy. I got Mika C6 and he is broken for Eula the attack speed of her weapon and him is crazy and from what I've tested even with out Bennett Eula burst will hit as much and more with Mika instead of him so I can only imagine the both of them boosting Eula together will do

  15. But if they are swapping Eula early that means her burst is strong enough to kill the enemies so they don't need more stacks. If its strong enough to swap out why do they need Mika's buff for it

  16. Going to disagree, for these reasons:
    1) Eula does a lot of damage already, and you will frequently swap off her for an early burst. This wipes out some of the benefit of Mika. And while he can boost her damage, this only makes the swap out issue worse, as it incentives swapping out of Eula. It also creates a zone where, with the bonus, you could swap out and kill, but without it, you can't, and so you have to stay on field, which makes the bonus pointless.
    2) The best Eula teams are not hypercarry ones. In a Quickbloom Eula team, there's no room for a second cryo. In the more traditional Raiden/Eula one, Mika doesn't help Raiden and whatever the 4th slot character is much, while other supports will.
    3) Phys DPS has two big drawbacks: shields and the lack of a non-anemo grouping character. Mika helps with neither issue. He's also the worst cryo applicator of any cryo character.
    4) Hit lag impacts claymore users the most, so Eula doesn't get the full benefit of his speed buff.
    5) He needs C6 to be a notable difference.
    6) The highest hp enemies tend to be ones you face solo. This is when Mika is at his worst. When facing more numerous enemies, where he can give his full buff, well, the hp totals are lower, and you need his help less.

Short of it, he doesn't give Eula what she really needs, works best in her worst team comps, and buffs most when he's least needed. He's a Damage Per Screenshot character, a "win more" (this doesn't really help you, as an NPC reduced to -1 hp is as dead as one reduced to -1,000,000), and not one that helps her better teams's DPS, a "more wins" character (one that lets you use Eula in situations she couldn't handle before).

Maybe he'll be more helpful with future physical characters. But for Eula, if you know what you're doing with her, he's not really worth going for.

  17. I definitely see this as a problem because against most enemies you do want to pop the burst early as the enemies either die, teleport away or turn back invincible if you don't.
But I have given up on playing Eula anyway, too much pain to deal with the delay on her damage.
