Fun fact:
Surtalogi Skirk's master, he is very similar to Dainsleif, they are both named after swords
Surtalogi is the sword of the fire giant Surtr in Norse mythology . With this the fire giant set the world on fire at Ragnarök.
Dainsleif belonged to king Högni who was a legendary king in Viking mythology. The Dainsleif sword was made by the dwarf Dain who was among the most famous and talented craftsmen in the cosmos. The word "Dainsleif" meant "Dain's legacy".
(similar to how Childe transformation is called Foul's legacy)
As a character designer: god why
Skirk will always look like an odd one out character in Genshin(even with the existence of Alloy) and that's both a good (since she's probably not even from teyvat/diff era) and bad (it just feels so odd)
We're heading to a point where honkai 3rd impact lore and star rail lore with collide could the 3rd descender be the nameless trailblazer and the archeon of ice be march 7 lol

I always thought that skirk would be an old short woman who had black/gray hair
I'd also like to point out that she regarded neuvillette as her equal in power when we defeated the all devouring narwhale
This means she could be equal or possibly more powerful than full powered dragon sovereigns.
Scariest part is.. We've yet to meet surtalogi and the hexenzirkel who are arguably more powerful than neuvillette

I'm just saying that if I wanted a honkai character, I'd be playing those games instead. Already not a fan of all the "expy" characters, and I'm dreading Murata and Tsaritsa being Himeko and Bronya. I just want more than a generic pretty girl.
I am actually a lil disappointed with the body model.
The design overall is great but she has the body of fkin kuki which suits only kuki's design.
I wish she were a tall woman like jingliu then she would've been the perfect character.

Bro, Genshin and its siblings always have hits and misses regarding character design. Sometimes you just have to accept that they reuse and just add little touch to the models for efficiency purposes. We don't need to always justify their products.For me personally, this design is generic and overused. I almost thought it was Eula at first.
