Funny thing is even in a healer meta Bennett and Jean are better because they just do more, so nothing really changes.
If youre worried that your shield characters will never be meta after this, dont be. One example is venti. He was less used during the first phase of the 2.0 spiral abyss but then mihoyo indirectly buff venti by reducing the weight of the nobushi's etc. So in a similar context, the corrosion effect will not last forever knowing that the spiral abyss will always change and revolve around a specific limited character during a specific phase. Tldr, mihoyo is trying their best to sell out kokomi knowing that most of the playerbase will skip her.
