This 1minute is definitely one of the most difficult one to arrange and perform. Jasper did a draft for the whole song and then I followed his draft to change around to finish the arrangement. The most difficult things in Diluc part is the Teyvat Battle Motif. Like how to make it progress once by once with a fuller sound. I finally decided to make a INSANE left hand to play the motif together with the right hand and adding rapid octaves for the very last time (for the teyvat battle motif). It looks easy but it’s took me a long time to work on the left hand to be able to jump around and do a proper voicing. And yes, you may realise that I seems to rush at the end because I couldnt really follow the metronome for the Diluc part due to the Hemiola feeling and also the syncopation for the motif. (I have tried but not working well)

Fischl part, Japser Hu has combined the harpsichord rhythm with the piano notes from the original music in the first few bars. The part where the guitar starts to join is just insane. We have discussed and we were about the make a piano duo version because it is just very difficult to play. To arrange it, it’s quite hard to keep both the strings/harpsichord with the guitar. I have tried around all the time even after the decision to make it on two pianos. I’m surprised I finally made it! ofc It will always lose sth to make it a piano solo. But I guess I’ve tried my best to keep Strings/Harpsichord, Guitar Melody (with 3-hand technique) and Bass altogether. The entry of the guitar is very difficult to play…..It took me a lot of times to record this 30seconds to be able to play it. (It starts with the left hand then went to right hand while the right hand is also playing the piano voice in the 2nd half of the bar)

To make it sound better, I decided to add the harpsichord above. (It was mainly the same from the piano part but just more castle vibe, Hope that works) The whole arrangement is still designed for piano solo.

  39. Am i the only one who knows that the start of this song an the main part of the dawn winery theme song were taken from old songs. I think they are actually german the originial old ones. First of all because of mondstadt and second because im german and we had them in music theory
