  1. Honestly, as much as I dont play ayato all that much, I actually think Ayato’s got a pretty cool burst, I LOVE the illusion of the cherry petal landing beside his sword as if a water barrier was forged in front of him causing the petal to land on it. It’s just pretty, buuut its a small detail that i dont think anyone really touches up on- or doesnt see it as appealing enough.

  2. Cyno's THROUGH ME JUSTICE IS SERVED just hits different.

Not even a Cyno main but picking him up in any event you can play with him.

I guess it's mainly about the animations, but imo having the right language up for it makes some bursts even better. Dehyas EN VA for example makes the burst so much better with "You're Deadmeat!"

  3. Loved the video! I will say the Albedo burst clip did him dirty, as there are additional flower explosions during his burst when the flower from his skill is on the field 🥲 I wouldn’t say he’d go much higher in the list but his burst normally has notably more pizazz because of that. Surprised chat didn’t seem to mention it 😮
The Neuvillette and Tartaglia rankings were the only ones I felt genuinely stunned by, although I will admit to definitely having a bias for them both.
For Neuvi (spoiler reasoning follows): Chat calling his nothing special too was wild to me. His burst shows hints of his true dragon form and he does the same motion as when he calls for order in the court. Plus, during the burst he’s surrounded by water (reflecting the flood) and all the water suddenly shoots up into the sky (as he controls rainfall in ways that would otherwise be unnatural). This last point is less concrete but I’d suggest that “be sanctified” as a voice line may even be a reference to his part in how he saved the people of Fontaine at the time of the flood. It’s certainly fine to not like the burst as much as others but I’d argue that it’s absolutely unique and fits him in many ways.
For Tartaglia: his bursts were certainly more simple but the quickness of both bursts is actually weirdly what elevates them to me because they’re fitting for him as a character, since Childe (when in-combat) is all about the rush of battle. This shows even in the mechanics of his bursts: his bow one is intended as a set-up for his melee one (as he doesn’t lose all of his energy from performing the bow burst, it’s meant to apply riptide to enemies in a wide area so that his normal melee attacks and his melee burst are setup to do more explosive damage). His melee burst is great for quickly dealing big damage and allowing him to get straight back into using his normal attacks without much pause. The details that makes his melee burst more visually cool (although admittedly much more subtle than most other bursts) are the narrowing of his eyes alongside the brief pause he has with his spear wound back before he sweeps forward with it. Those minor details just really help to quickly hint at his sharp focus in combat and the weight behind the spear’s impact before he’s even swung it.
