Before Pneumousia/Arkhe power was introduced to Fontaine, the people of the nation used manual labor to complete many of their tasks. In this video, I go over the lore presented in the Construction weapon series, and how Pneumousia changed Fontaine.

Let's goooo~
Great video o/
this is a great video; I was really confused about the two powers and why they existed in purely Fontaine, this helped me to grasp that.
Damn, is the Power saw claymore light or are Fontainians just that strong?
And it's PneumaOusia the power within Teyvat that is used to beat the Whale. And if it's true that the whale is a Quanta creature then Teyvat just has the perfect counter.
Good to know was curious how that worked. I'm curious how they're gonna use it moving forward into Nathan.
I really dig thr design of these weapons, hopefully we are introduced to new characters in the future that can benefit from their passives cuz theyre so pretty
Really great video but i do have a question, since i might be confusing things.
What counts as inventing the arkhe system? Since, iirc, Alain invented energy blocks that provide power via controlled pneuma-ousia annihilation reactions (which is what devs referred to as Arkhe during 4.0 livestream) and the first time he managed to create such reaction was during his time in Institute of Natural Philosophy, when Carter was alive and witnessed that:
"I found myself witness to the first successful controlled annihilation reaction. The brilliant light cast a deep, dark shadow and I believe history was made in that moment. Can someone like me, so excited I knocked over the ink bottle, play a role in such a historical event?" – Ancient log in Institute of Natural Philosophy, from Carter's perspective
So idk if the first reaction should count as the moment of creation of Arkhe system or if the creation of blocks themselves (though it's not specified when he created the blocks and, i assume, it would still be before he found the institute since i think Seymour would be using Arkhe, based on the fact that he uses Recon Log Mek model and those are powered by Arkhe system)
Wow….really great lore informations. Day by day @SiliconOneFour becomes a heaven for me ❤. Please make a video about some characters like Yae and Neuvillete who seems doesn’t require any kind of weapon to concentrate their elemental powers….like in Neuvillette’s case I think Tome of Eternal Flow works as some kind of authority and in Yae’s she use Kagura’s Verity to Channel her Yokai power…
So I'd like to say a few more implicit stuff about the Arkhe system.
Firstly, the word 'Arkhe' is latinized from Greek word αρχη, meaning beginning. Noticably, in the Greek version of John 1:1 rephrasing Genesis 1:1 'in the beginning was the word', the word used for beginning was also αρχη, so the word Arkhe can be literally translated as 'the origin (of the world)'.
Secondly, pneuma and ousia are stoicism philosophical concepts that Gnosticism borrowed to denote their own concepts. Pneuma is supposedly the fiery essence of the God, being linked to fire, air, light and human spirit. Ousia is the moist substance that creates worldly existence, associated with water, earth, darkness and the worldly god/Demiurge.
Anyway, if you've gotten this far, thank you for listening to my long Greek-related rant today, and good night.
How can someone obtain those craftables??? I DIDN'T KNEW ABOUT THESE ONES HOW TH!?
The video i needed✨️👍!!!!
is there information about how the fontaine characters can use the arkhe specifically using their vision and how it also governs their vision design
To clarify, Alain didn't create Pneuma or Ousia power.
He simply created a way to harness them for controlled reactions. Not unlike how we humans have harnessed atomic energy. It was always there, they just didn't have the means to control it yet.
What's curious is whether or not it's in other parts of Teyvat, just undiscovered because the right equipment hasn't come out of Fontaine's borders to detect and harness it.
If it's not, then a likely explanation would be the proximity to the Primordial Sea, or proximity to a breach from outside Teyvat the Narwhal used to enter the world.
I'm sort of leaning towards the latter because of when Pneuma and Ousia were discovered and when the Narwhal would have had to breach Teyvat in order to become part of Fontaine's prophecy.
Nice bit of lore, that I had completely overlooked. Thank you. As for any future reference, the 'ch' in maréchaussée is pronounced like the sh in shoe.
Still waiting for Teyvat's version of that catchy Romanian Numa Numa song: Remurian Pneuma Pneuma song. 😀
