  1. I'm happy you unearthed the treasure that is Genshin music💕 I'm sure you will enjoy listening to more music from this game. So far there are 5 regions in the game, each inspired by cultures from around the world, shown in character designs, lore and music❤️

  2. Please listen genshin impact varukasha oasis ost (night, I think) this is my favorite location in the game with so much atmosphere, I was just listening it in my phone 1 minute ago, and almost cried…

  3. The world is this game is a fantasy interpretation of various regions in the real world. These regions are defined by an element and I guess like a concept. Fontaine, the nation of Hydro (water; hence the many water motif's in the lighting and instrumentation) and Justice. Its strongly inspired by France and the surrounding cultures.

  4. Hoyoverse releases videos like that when a new region is about to be released, and it usually is "Song #1 = theme, or one of them featuring the region's main leitmotif" and "Song #2 = one of the overworld battle songs". So yeah, that second song is hear when you are in the region of Fontaine fighting monsters, which is so cool! I agree with everyone else, and I absolutely recommend the other regions videos like this, and the Shangai live concert!

  5. I LOVE seeing people who have a background in music react to Genshin's music, especially their live orchestra concerts which are just a delight! I'm not well versed in instruments but even I can appreciate all the interesting unique instruments used in this performance. You might be able to tell but Fontaine is an area in Genshin, based on France, and their "element" is water, hence all those water-based instruments 😀

Due to Genshin's popularity, I anticipate you may be inundated with lots of requests if you haven't already. I want to apologize a bit on their behalf, Genshin's fans are quite enthusiastic about the music in the game :') but I hope everyone is nice and pleasant, and not too demanding. Of course, only do what you feel comfortable with or are interested in :D!

  6. I can never get enough of genshin music. There is such a wide variety between the different regions and instruments and contexts (battle music, city music, environmental etc) . And then when you add the layer of context of the story, this Fontaine song can range from a grand introduction to the city, to the sorrow and drama and grandeur of the climax of the story. It really hits emotions on another level. And that is just fontaine, all the others have their own story contexts, and such an amazing blend of instruments and cultures. I never get tired of it.

  7. genshin's music is honestly great. they have several live recordings and concerts if you want to check out. other than fontaine, they also have performances for the in-game nations' main theme and battle theme for inazuma and sumeru, and they'll likely have another performance for upcoming nations. some boss battles also have performances! polumnia omnia seems to be a real popular one. i myself prefer rage beneath the mountains and neverending performance.
if you'd like, please check out die mittsommernacht fantasie! it's an event exclusive song that sadly we can't listen to in-game anymore, but it's a fan favorite and a lot of youtube reactors with music background are blown away listening to it.

  8. I suggest listening to the other regional theme live concerts (with a battle theme as the 2nd song for Chapters 2-4). A great way to compare and contrast the full musical theme for each region. In reverse order of the traveler's (your) journey in the game.

Chapter 4: "Fontaine" and "Rondeau des fleurs et des rapieres" (Your current reaction): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZ9DaB7xRZs

Chapter 3: "Sumeru" and "Swirls of Shamshir": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrP3lO3aGDg

Chapter 2: "Inazuma" and "Overloard of the Thunderstorm": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4bptIoZFDE

    Prelude: "Mondstadt"*: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIam8zl4af8&t=196s

    * The last two are part of a longer concerts you may want to do separately or include portions. Perhaps do the entire Liyue "Reflections of Spring" mini-concert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8svl0sQXDLI&t=145s

  9. The Genshin fanbase is huge and varied, theres a lot of in-fighting etc – but the one thing we ALL agree on is that music in Genshin is absolutely out of this world.

Hoyomix just absolutely never misses when it comes to Genshin.

  12. With every region released once per year, they bring instruments from the inspired Nation to their music; for example Japanese instruments when they released Inazuma.
