  1. If I somehow get her, I'll most likely build full EM Thoma over Xiangling for off-field pyro application cuz I am really not bothered enough to attempt at building Xiangling, especially when she's still C1.

Fontaine characters have not missed so far, so I'm really excited to test out Chevreuse. Even Freminet and Lynette are pretty usable.

  2. Do you play with the characters too or just read the stats and speculate how they will be? I saw your Navia video where you said she is a great character but now that she is out I don't see any other video with you playing her or building her.

  3. She's not worth it for me to risk my guarantee for Xianyun.
The VV like effect only works in Pyro/Electro team.
Yet, Pyro gets more damage paired with Hydro or Cryo
And Electro gets more damage paired with Dendro
Only Electro I know that do not want Dendro is Hypercarry Raiden because of how high the multipliers are already that Aggravate don't improve much.

  4. Still dont know how I feel about her. I am willing to wait and see how well she works in practice. But as it stands now, she just seems like a less flexible unit to support a niche that no one wants to explore because playing around overload is usually a pain.

On paper, she does a lot of good things.

    Pros:
    1. Reduce enemy pyro/electro resistance by 40%.
    2. Provides entire team up to 40% attack.
    3. Provides serviceable single target healing over a duration.
    4. At c6, unconditionally provides 60% pyro/electro damage bonus.
    5. Is not reliant on burst to do her job.

    Cons:
    1. Half of her kit requires Exclusivly Pyro/electro characters.
    2. Biggest benifit locked behind c6.
    3. Viridecent still exists, and does not have as many limitations. Granted, it can provide 2 resistance shreds at once… but only for pyro and electro.
    4. Playstyle is centered around overload, which is in no way augmented by Chevy's kit to make it more comfortable.
    5. Because of being stuck with overload, she's basically exclusively for boss killing.
    6. 10 second cooldown on particle generation???

Again i dont know. Maybe shes fun to mess around with. Although, one team I would like to see is:
    Cyno, Thoma, Chevreuse, and Fischl/Beidou/Miko

  5. The reason she uses a polearm is because hoyo can't think of better animations in using a gun without being superfluous. It would be weird doing all these movements or maybe doing backflip while pulling the trigger 😅

  6. I remember when i first started playing the game and i thought overload was the best reaction (back when keqing was on of the strongest units) and i would go to the abyss thinking i can have 2 overload teams and win with main dps bennet and main dps keqing on the other team

  7. Interesting as I've only heard some commentary the past month that she wasn't going to be good but without any justification for those takes. I hadn't bothered to look into her so this has me interested. Maybe I'll get her quickly so I don't have to pull another Raiden. I have both 5*'s and I now tend to use Raiden in a hyperbloom team so not really in need of Constellations. Rather wave for next set of banners.

  8. The most important part is that VV can only proc when the Anemo character is on-field. Chevreuse’s RES shred wouldn’t need you to refresh it since it just passively activates when you proc Overloaded.

  9. you're overhyping quite a bit
her grouping shouldn't be good enough to make up for overload knockback. this wouldn't be as much of a problem if bennet wasn't assumed to be in her team
but i guess without bennet you can't batchest her team's damage.
she'll be fine but not as good
I'll probably try her with fischl yoimiya thoma/beidou

  10. A few questions:
    1. Do you HAVE to use her with only pyro and electro characters in order to get the overload dmg buff or can you build more flexible teams with other elements and still get the buff as long as you have a single pyro and a single electro character to facilitate the reaction?
    2. Can she act as a replacement for Bennett?
    3. Would she be any good in vape teams with her C6?

  11. I would do Nahida and Chevreuse to allow better pyro application through Burning reaction. This will be a good combo as Nahida will amp up reaction damage form the amount of EM. Then I would go two Electro one being main dps or a good electro applier and 2 pyro.
