  1. I swear, this quest got me bawling over some funny looking blue blobs.
    When it named it's child 'Noor', that made me cry, it's such a common/basic name for us in South Asia but it's such a beautiful name regardless. The child must have meant so much.

  10. I now feel like a monster for killing thousands of fungi for ascension and talent materials just like with the hillichurls. Why mihoyo, why must you hurt me so

    Ugh why'd they have to make the fungi so loveable , I cry literally every time, nahida almost guobaing into a twig then the fungi sacrifice then the fight with the super emotional music and the quotes over the top and learning the baby shrooms name it's too much for my heart ;^;

    This is probably the most emotional weekly boss to me I get chills every time. Also just nahida casually reinforcing why she's my fav archon, as she does with literally every quest she's in.

    Also what a way to come back with this emotional rollercoaster lol. Great to have you back lorie!

  11. the fungi decision to become a tree to heal the dragon is the same as the aranara decision to become a tree to heal the forest… the entire arc of sumeru is about the nature of dendro which is wisdom and growth are the basis of dendro power, and they can be consumed to create dendro power.

  22. Remember when 80% of the community hated Nahida's design! Then when the devs said, her design might not be as good as the other archons but we will make sure that she will be the most liked archon in the game! I completely remember that. I didn't hate her design however a lot of people totally loved Nahida as an archon because of what she does to her people. She helps them, she helps the traveller she is liked by aranara and is also liked by these elemental beings. THEY TOTALLY DIDN'T LIE WHEN THEY SAID WE WILL MAKE YOU LOVE NAHIDA!!

  30. Honestly this quest was all nice and dandy until that Twirly-Whirly looking fungi hit me with the "Lord of Dendro, don't be sad" that single line completely broke me for the rest of the quest 😭

  35. Interesting that Apep is voiced by Lauren Landa, given that the Elemental Life Form (the first one that's like Bongo-Head) is clearly her as well. Or at least it sounds exactly like her.
