Just yesterday, unexpectedly, information emerged that banners in the upcoming version 4.6 may bring changes different from what was eagerly awaited. So in this video, I will talk about what banner changes we can expect in the next update and also some news about version 4.6 in general.

Version 4.6 will be released on April 24, so please note that this is very early information and is still subject to change.

The source for the banner information is a Telegram channel by a user under the nickname Dim.

Firstly, the most disappointing news for most is that Furina will not appear in version 4.6. Instead, another character will appear, whom you may not have expected to see.

According to them, in the first phase, we will see Arlecchino and Lyney. There’s nothing unexpected here; Arlecchino has already been announced, and her release alongside Lyney is logical since they are connected in the story. Developers should also feature Lynette and Freminet alongside her to allow players to pull the whole family. By the way, we got some info about the Spiral Abyss that backs up the claim of Arlecchino being in the first half, so I’ll talk about it at the end of the video.

Now, onto the second half, which might be a surprise for you.

According to Dim, here we will see Baizhu and Wanderer, but without Furina or Alhaitham, as many expected. For those who have saved resources for Furina, this is bad news, but if you were waiting for Wanderer, you can rejoice. Interestingly, Baizhu who was rerunning with Furina in 4.2 got his banner instead of Furina.

As you can see, the most questionable is the second phase, it just doesn’t make any sense. The main event in version 4.6 will happen in Inazuma, and the main character of this event is Itto. I can understand that the Wanderer is technically from Inazuma, but why Baizhu? Maybe Mihoyo is planning to make a lot of sales from the Arlecchino banner in the first phase and put Baizhu and the Wanderer in the second to balance the whole revenue from patch 4.6.

Judging by the reaction to this post, players aren’t happy. But this is very early information, so don’t think second phase will be exactly like this.

Now to some info about Abyss in version 4.6 that backs up the claim that Arlecchino will be in the first phase.

In version 4.6 of the Spiral Abyss, during the first phase, the Abyssal Moon’s blessing will lower enemy resistance to Pyro-related elemental reactions. Because of this, it’s very probable that Arlecchino will be featured in the first phase of character banners. Hoyoverse usually give Abyss buffs associated with the current characters in the banners to encourage players to reach for them.

Info that Arlecchino will be in the first half will be a downside for most players who wanted to get some primogems in the first phase and pull for her in the second.

  5. NOOOOOOOOO. I wanted to pull for Lyney and Arlecchino. BUT IF WANDERER APPEARS IN THE SECOND PHASE THEN IT'S SOOOO BAD. Because I wanna pull for Wanderer as well. It means I should skip Arlecchino I guess… But I don't want to…
    If they want more money from the first phase and they want to balance the whole patch, why can't they put Nilou for example in the second half. She has to appear as well since she didn't have her rerun for a long time.

  27. Will never understand why people like Furina being an archon. She's easily one of the most annoying characters in the game just for the sake of being annoying with no substance, and getting carried in quests by neuvillette lmfao

  40. im on my grandma's account cuz thats where i found this video. pls no i saved mi moneyz for my bbg furina noo 🙁 !! tho i like wanderer, but i love furina more. mi primos and real money is saved. y did snake man come back so early1!! :/ ok well lets hope she will come in 4.7. (furina will prob come in card game 4.6 tho soo)
