Maybe the people who have time to actively participate in the online community have so much game time that they think it’s useless, but for older players who need to work their 9-5 and spend family weekends, the opportunity to “waste” resin on crafting ores + adventure XP is super helpful. It adds up and is miles more useful than just letting resin cap and rot when you have like a full field day with kids planned.
    2. They added new fish types with Enkanomiya. They planned waypoints close to fishing spots before even officially releasing the fishing system. There is a fishing shop in each nation. Don’t have to be a rocket science brain to deduct that there will be more things buyable with fish in the future, such a huge ecosystem just could not be put in place for 1 weapon, there is more to it. Just remember it took Xinyan and Beidou almost a year to get story relevance. This illustrates the tempo of mhy’s internal planning. Fish will come into play again, much later but it will.
    3. Same with the bell claymore. Yes, we don’t have a claymore character who could benefit from HP stat – *yet*. Was the same thing with DEF stat before Gorou and Itto and Husk set happened, and now bam, DEF is all the rage because a way to directly convert it to damage was introduced. Converting ER to damage also happened with Emblem set. It’s only logical to assume it will happen with HP one day, too. Inb4 The Bell Diluc will become a thing when some HP-to-damage converting artifact set releases.

  26. Some things are useless, because they lost quickly the usefulness after an event went by or after successfully doint its intended task, but the issue being, that the task isnt endless, which is why the tool becomes useless.
    Other things are useless, because MHY never gave the item a simple usage in form of a connected character to give us a reason to collect the item, but even then its only temporary useful as ascension material.
    Other stuff is useless, because just the item itself is pointless to exist, like the Special Camera…

    Id seriously like to see MHY fixing alot of this item nonsense they are making, by either reworking their effects, merging stuff together to give things a new n better purpose of existance n meanwhile clean our inventories from all that trash that uses up only inventory space, or simply add usage to items.

    TheBell is useless to people, because there doesnt exist yet a single Claymore Character that scales its performance by Max Health. MHY just need to add 1 single Claymore Character whose E n Q are scaled by HP and the Bell would be instantly that characters likely second best weapon, because surely MHY would add a HP 5s claymore then to bring whales to whale for it… but it would be useful for all others.
    That silly pearl surely becomes somewhen an ascension material for a new character like for example Yelan I guess or maybe somewhen Alice or perhaps Varka, who knows, but I would be so dumb to waste them with the transmog tool, only because they have yet no usage. That wont be so forever.
    Angling Rods, yeah, hopefully they become more useful in the future n more unique, that you need to switch them n get them. But with only laughable 22 fish types to catch, this feature is still in its baby shoes.
    MHY has to expand the amount of fish types drastically n continously basically with each patch, or fishing just dies out fast because of boredom and zero rewards that give you reasons for it why you will want to go fishing always whenever possible n youre in mood for it. Adding with a new patch like 50 new fishes, 10 per region would be a good start, when Sumeru comes (Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Enkanomiya) n not like half of them being cheap reskins only.
    Magic Ore needd to receive just a usage as a sink anit would be good, like make it required for more weapon crafting, for artefact fusions/resets to regain used Artefact exp n bring Artefacts back to Lvl 1 to be able to try getting better stats, rerolling the stats again.

    So much stuff to fix in this game, but MHY barely makes any real good QoL improvements to fix the garbage n clean things up. Sad
