Now that we know the banners for 4.7, it’s time to talk about the banners in 4.8.

First, we recently got a lot of information about Emilie, including some of her kit breadcrumbs, weapon stats, and other details. I think it’s safe to say that she will most likely be released in 4.8, probably in the first half, as most new characters are released in the first phase.

I see a lot of people who don’t even know who Emilie is. Emilie is a perfume designer from Fontaine, mentioned in the voice lines of several characters: Charlotte, Chevreuse, Chiori, Lynette, Lyney, and Wriothesley. She is the last character from Fontaine that we know of and she will most likely be released in 4.8.

The second character who might be in the first phase is Navia or Wriothesley. Both of them were released in Fontaine, and every character that was released in a certain region must have one rerun before a new region is introduced. We had a similar pattern with the Sumeru region when Cyno was released in 3.1 and reran in 3.5, or Wanderer who was released in 3.5 and then reran in 3.8. This pattern holds for all other characters from Sumeru.

From this, we can say that both Navia and Wriothesley must rerun in 4.8, but determining which phase each will be in is a little complicated. Personally, I think Riothesley will be in the second phase while Navia will be in the first. Let me explain why.

If we look at the 5-star waiting list, we can clearly see that Shenhe has gone through 11 patches since her last banner. Therefore, pairing Wriothesley and Shenhe in the same phase makes sense, as both of them are Cryo characters.

So, Emilie and Navia in the first phase and Shenhe and Wriothesley in the second would be the most reasonable lineup for 4.8.

However, since Mihoyo is known for unpredictability, it’s possible that only one of Navia or Wriothesley might rerun in 4.8, and instead, we might see someone like Xianyun. Moreover, instead of Shenhe, developers might put Nilou, as she also has 10 patches since her last rerun. On top of that, it’s rumored that Nilou will appear in the summer event in 4.8, and we will get new skins for Nilou, Wanderer, and Kirara.

But still, I think Emilie and Navia will be in the first phase and Wriothesley and Shenhe in the second. As I said, instead of Shenhe, we might see Nilou, but still Wriothesley and Shenhe seem more suitable.

What about Chronicled Wish? I think we’ll get it in patch 4.8, since it’s the last patch before Natlan.

The most likely candidates are Liyue characters like Hu Tao, Yelan, and Ganyu. For standard characters, it could be Qiqi, Keqing, and maybe Tighnari or Dehya. Developers might also include four limited characters and two standard ones, possibly even Zhongli.

We need another Chronicled Wish to understand which characters might be included and whether it is a regional banner or if Archons can be included.

  3. Being a f2p is pain, all of these news wnd im here knowing the pain it is to get primogens, i hooe they bump up so thst it's at least 80 and not 60 eo thst welkins boost better primogem farming, also if i ever win in this I'll be happy, but oh well a fan can dream

    I'll try going for Furina, im just building pity for her and her weapon (Lord knows I'll need too)

  20. Saving guarantee for Zhongli… if they put him in chironicled then RIP my time saving primo for nothing, I never pull last chironicled so I dont have guarantee for it

  29. I hope that they don't put Zhongli in the chronicle banner. That CB (chronicle banner) didn't count our pity from the evnt banner. And i can wait for Natlan realese and Archon rerun banner😁
