Yoooo you got kaiba? 🤣
Hope you enjoy man! Goodluck
I would not try to reroll at present time. When the guide was made, you got 30+ wishes from the initial celebration in your mail (and primogems that you use for summoning). Unfortunately, it got removed in later patches. So for now I would stick with what I got at first, especially if you're happy with what you got. ^^ I hope you enjoy the story across Teyvat!
dont fall into gacha hell T.T
Tectone lol
You should record character story quest too cuz they're canon
Are you going to stream it?
Please upload contents when you get to play the Archon and story quest
Subscribed to your youtube and twitch 👍🏻
This video is pretty outdated. A lot of this advice isn't very relevant
I would also recomend to react to Max0r's genshin impact review. It's extremely funny and actually informative for new players as well.
Whale game
for now you can just follow and enjoy the story, and don't forget to do your daily commission and spend your resin.
*i'm AR 57 it takes me 3 month from AR 55 to 56 (200k+ exp) and 3½ month from 56 to 57 (250k+ exp)
Here are my beginner tips!
It may look like a lot, but a lot of these prevent annoying mistakes that people often regret later.
General best experience guide:
-Have a healthy mix of exploration and story quests.
-Archon quests are the main story. Those are the most important for the narrative in the game. They usually are more interesting too.
-Dont look too much up on puzzles and mysteries. Those tend to be fun to figure out yourself and will always be there.
-Sometimes there are events. Events often have very good rewards but only last for a designated time. Try to them before they are gone.
-Even if you are a casual player, sometimes if you do no damage, it will be a pain and the game wont be as fun. So knowing a tiny bit about how to increase your damage will increase your enjoyment of the game
Gacha System:
-There are 4 banners: beginner banner, character event, weapon event, and standard (wanderlust). The most important one is the character event banner. This has the limited time characters.
-Your main currency is primogems. 160 primogems can be converted into either intertwined fates (pink), or acquaint fates (blue). Intertwined fates are almost universally better, because they let you roll on the character event banner. Dont spend primogems on acquaint fates.
-You will also occasionally get acquaint fates from quests and events, use those to wish on the beginner banner or standard banner (it doesnt really matter).
-There is a pity system. Every 10 wishes is guarantee to have a 4 star and every 90 wishes is guaranteed to have a 5 star. However there is also a soft pity, that increases your odds dramatically after a certain amount of wishes. For 5 stars, that pity is at wish 76 since your last 5 star.
-You can try out the characters on the event banner in the event page under "trial run"
-For 5 stars, you have a 50% chance of getting the one on the character event banner, but if you don't get them, the next 5 star on the banner will be guaranteed to the one on the banner. If you don't get the one on the banner, it'll be one of the 5 standard banner 5 stars: (Jean, Qiqi, Diluc, Mona, Keqing)
Resource Management:
-For each character there is a level cap, then you have to ascend them to increase that level cap. Any xp gained while at the level cap is wasted. Avoid wasting experience by leveling over the level cap. For example: the first level cap is 20. You can use the high xp books to reach level 19 then use the smaller ones to get to 20 without wasting too much. It might also be a good idea to stay at level 19 until you have the resources to ascend.
-Unlike characters, weapon upgrade material gets refunded if you go over the weapon level cap. This means you don't have to worry about wasting experience when upgrading weapons
-You should ONLY use those pink weapon enhancement crystals and 1-2 star weapons to level weapons. Some 3 star weapons can only be found in chests and are FINITE in the world, which means if you use them to upgrade another weapon they are gone forever.
-At some point you will encounter the resin system. The resin system is what you use to collect loot from domains, bosses, and leylines. You have 160 resin that regenerates 1 every 8 minutes. Try to spend this resin as much as possible, because late game, you will always be running out of it.
-Resin increases in value as you go further in the game, which means avoid using Fragile resin until much later in the game
Damage:
-Here are the easiest ways to increase your damage in the early game in order:
1. Weapons. Leveling up and refining your weapons will increase your damage dramatically. Weapons are much easier to level and upgrade compared to anything else in the game.
2. Team building. Not every character has the same role. Try to choose characters that work well together. Some characters are healers, some are shielders, some apply elements for reactions. Read characters talents to get a understanding of what they do.
2b. The easiest type of team to start out with is one where you have 1 character who is your "main damage dealer" and the other 3 are supports. This lets you spend a lot of resources on your main damage dealer, and you need less on the other 3.
3. Talents. This comes into play a little more into the game, but after you ascend your characters for the second time (Level 40 and above). You can begin to upgrade characters talents in the talent page of the character profile. This is very valueable to do. Over time though, this begins to take a lot more resources to level, so focus on leveling the talent abilities you use the most.
4. Artifacts. Early game, artifacts are not as important because they get replaced so fast. However, late game, artifacts are some of the best ways to increase your damage. Early game, leveling up the feather will dramatically increase your damage, because the feather always has flat attack stat. Set bonuses can be nice, but they are not everything. When you pick artifacts, you want to look for specific stats. There is a main stat and substats. Th main stat is the most important, but looking for artifacts with good substats is also helpful. Each character wants slightly different stats, but as a general rule, the best stats are Crit rate, crit damage, and attack%. The Goblet artifact (the 4th one in the menu) is the only artifact that can have elemental damage bonus. 9 time out of 10 you want to find a goblet with elemental damage bonus where the elemental damage bonus matches the characters element type. For example, Keaya would have "Cryo damage bonus" for his goblets main stat. Some characters might also be good with physical damage bonus if most of their damage comes from non-elemental attacks. (E.g. Razor)
Bro you don’t know how excited i am when i streamer get to play Genshin for the first time. The story is sooooo goood! Goodluck on your Journey and we will wait for you at Adventure Rank 57 👍🏻
The way you deal the majority of your damage in combat for most characters is through elemental reactions. You do want to have a primary damage-dealer (aka a "main" DPS) who is leveled higher than the rest of your team, but you still need those other party members to facilitate elemental reactions or support you in other ways like with shields or healing.
Also note that you get almost zero exp from fighting random enemies, so don't bother grinding them to level up. Instead you'll be leveling up your characters with exp books that you can get from quests, chests, or leylines (specifically the blue circles that you'll see on the map).
The point of raising 8 characters mostly because of "Spiral Abyss" that need two team(4 char per team) and it's a huge source of "primogem" which use to rolling and abyss reset twice a month.
But imo you don't need to hurry make those 8 just focus 1-3 character you like until adventure rank 40 which allow you to get better gears and resources and you can think again who you really want to play, since resources is limit by resin(stamina) and most upgrade material need specific day to farm them but you could try build lot character but you also need to spend time for grinding too.
Also: there is a guide in-game as well just like in tectone vid that floating above health bar at bottom(press G), It really useful and I recommend to try read all of them.
Also learn how the pity system works… This may help u get what character u want probably
The map is still unfinished actually (only three nations of the total seven are available). The available ones are Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. I recommend watching the [Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail] for a better preview of the actual story (there are no major upfront spoilers there and only vague descriptions so it’s safe to watch it).
Excited for your future genshin videos! subbed and belled lmaoo
don't take him seriously he is a self centered dumb who like to shout and complain in anything idk why people still watch that stupid.
This video is kinda outdated, but it still contains reliable info (a lot of new stuff/mechanics/events/regions have been added over the course of a year since the game was released). One thing I would recommend is to at least read the "new entries" you get in-game, since it really is confusing at the start of the game, but as you play through the main story or any quest in general, I'm sure that confusing things will start to clear up. As for the characters, everyone is viable though some will perform better than others, it all comes down to preference. And enjoy the Genshin journey to Gacha Hel… I mean the journey in Teyvat.
please make a reaction on Max0r's "Genshin Impact Review" (a funny review of genshin) and "A serious critique of Genshin Impact" by "NeverKnowsBest" (a lengthy video tho) he give good view of the game and the balance of good and bad thing on genshin..
looking forward to it if you decide to react nad post it here.
This is a really old vid now many things have changed and the world has also expanded so try watching something recent.
I recommend watching newer guide cause this one is old
