So basically the Chronicled Wish banner is a 5* event banner for more 5* characters. The main difference is that there is no carryover in the Chronicled Wish banner.
Maybe it's only available during the flagship event's duration? I hope it's available throughout the patch so we can pull for more characters if we want. I wonder what they'll do with regions without standard characters like Inazuma and Fontaine (and for the future regions). Will they still add standard characters or not? Guess we'll know when the time comes.

You guys are missing the point. This Banner is GREAT to pull for constellations.
Instead of waste your primos in the rerun banner, you can save for this banner.
If you lose 50/50, you can get Limited characters, instead of qiqis and keqings all the time.
So, if you wanna C6 Eula, you can get a few Klees and Albedos.
Imagine if they add Ganyu and Hu Tao in the same banner. Legendary pulls.

Good video Sevy. You touched on something that I am concerned about. Because many of us don't have a lot of intertwined Fates, because we can only get 5 each month from the shop rese or 4 from the Battle Pass, this means that Hoyo is banking on the players converting their Primogems into Intertwined Fates. In the shop under Purchase With Primogems it has both Aquaint and Intertwined Fates at the price of 160 Primogems for 1.
This is how The Chronicled Wish will compete with the limited time banners.
This is just a scam banner. Pull on it if you want but this is overall something that even for Gacha standards is bullshit, at least as long as it uses the same fate points as for the other banners it's just predatory fomo baiting.
You should point out that the weapons are R1 and you can easily get better in game without spending $1000

What would’ve made this banner a massive W is it should’ve been a Standard 2.0 banner – permanent, pity carries over, and we only use blue fates. The charted course could be limited if they want to, but keep the banner there. Right now it’s just not worth it. Maybe if you want Hunter’s Path or Beacon and if you have enough until the hardest pity. Cause if you don’t get what you want, it’s all just wasted.
I feel like the reason why they didn't mention the duration of the wish is something like intentional ambiguity, basically making it intentionally vague so that they can work their way around maybe testing or seeing what the appropriate amount of time is for this banner. This is a new concept for Genshin so it's uncertain how this would actually work out.

we all know this banner will never have strong 5 stars, be it character or weapon, it will always have the pretty bad ones
Does the pity system change if you choose the weap instead of the character like if you choose a weapon will you get it at around 60-70 while if you choose the character you will get it at 70-80??

did they clarify which 4-star characters/weapons will be included in this banner? im gonna assume all of them are in the pool but hopefully it also follows the character only/weapon only exclusivity

Only event-exclusive 5-star characters that have already appeared in the "Character Event Wish" or "Character Event Wish-2" at least 3 times and have also not appeared in any recent Event Wishes will appear in "Chronicled Wish."

I have read the FAQ and nowhere it states standard characters should be featured.
