These teams are by no means the BEST TEAMS in the game, although some of them are definitely top tier. For the most part you will find familiar teams here that push the upper limits of what’s available to us in game right now.

With my roster my most expensive right now(that most complete) is hutao wallnut team i have itto and the character that i need now is gorou. My two other account have gorou while main account didn't.
I guess my most expensive team is my mono electro team composed of Raiden C2, Yae Miko C0, Sara C6 & Jean C1–all equipped with the best artifact sets they could possibly get. That team slaps HARD!
I plan to grab shenhe to buff melt ganyu further xD. It’s exciting to either run a sunfire comp or simply a Bennett kazuha comp with shenyu. The melt team feels like a more versatile comp compared to freeze, as I sense a freeze nerf coming our way…
Only Raiden National is the team which has synergy. And I still should work on their artefacts. But I am burned out of artefact grinding.
The second team is up in the air. I hope Itto gets rerun with Gorou. So I can get both if I am lucky enough. And maybe an Albedo on his next rerun.
But yeah. So far I cant build a second team. I dont like many of the charas to highly invest in them.
I invest in mono geo since ittos release and his charged attacks do 41 k damage (with whiteblind and c0 gorou) is that good?
i think the most expensive team is Ayaka permafreeze with Shenhe Kazuha and Kokomi, needing a total of four 5 star characters
I'm at weird point of the game where 5* weapons would be bigger powerspike than new characters, but that seems so boring so I keep pulling characters and coping with BP/4* gacha weapons instead. Plenty of teams to play with tho.
I'd say Morgana w Diona/Shenhe flex 4th was my most expensive one, since Venti was built crit before swirl buff, and Mona is running dps instead of support build, so none of them are really low investment. (Shenhe w calamity queller, idk why even.)
…Literally had to watch the whole thing twice because half of what you said makes no sense no matter if I'm trying to look at it from F2P perspective or from whale perspective.
– You said Raiden national is more expensive than 4VV anemo national (I think that's what you mean when you said viridescent team?) "because you can't cheap out on Xiangling, Xingqiu or Bennett" when I'm pretty sure you need just the same amount of investment into those three if you want to run ANY kind of national team since the main damage in all form of national team is from Xiangling's vape and it's not like 4VV will just miraculously boost your uninvested Xiangling's damage up by hundred folds and carry the whole team singlehandedly, just with one anemo unit. Even with 4VV anemo on-field unit, you still need to invest into Xiangling, Xingqiu and Bennett if you want to use any variants of national teams effectively…(Not to mention, Raiden national is cheaper resource-wise than anemo national team because you only need to farm in one single artifact domain to invest in your entire team, no need to go into another domain, which much less resin efficiency too mind you, to get a different set for another character).
– You talked about Zhongli being "not cheap to invest" but missing out the fact that Zhongli's shield bot BIS weapon is a 3-star weapon with no refinement required, you really only need to stack HP on him, no need for set even (tenacity 2pc is good but not required IMO) and don't need energy recharge on shield bot Zhongli unless your Zhongli is C2+, which I believe is what we're aiming for here? Expensive but still not exactly into whale territory with 5-stars' constellations? So don't get what you were saying about that too…
– You kept saying "Gorou needs his C6, Gorou needs his C6", but fail to recognize that he can function just fine in the mono geo team without it. Majority of his buffing capability is in his skill multiplier, which you can get even when he's only at C0 and unlike Sara, he doesn't really need any constellation for him to function smoothly in the team. C6 is only an additional boost but not an absolute must-have to play him in mono geo team. So that kinda throws the entire argument of why mono geo is the second most expensive team out the window since that's literally all you said: because Gorou needs his C6 or he needs to be replaced by Albedo, a 5-stars, because he doesn't need his C6 to properly function in the team. You're just overexaggerating on the need for his C6…=_="
It’s so painful, that I got Raiden C3 but my Sara is still only C4 😨 How is this possible 😶🌫️ Wished there was a pity for a specific 4*, like the weapon path for example.
Why is gorou expensive to build? You just need to level up his skill to get the def buff
I got C6 Kazuha as a small spender in 303 wishes, which may seem like a lot, but it was a re-roll account that ended up becoming my main account. He has 89% Crit Rate & 191% Crit Damage as my main DPS.

My most expensive team is probably my "specter killer" team, at least this was the comp i came up with, when i needed to farm their mats:
Zhongli, Albedo, Yae Miko, Yoimiya. Full 5 star Team, consisting of at least a few "rare" Characters, lots of passiv damage, hitting floating enemies in no problem for any of these characters, geo resonance gives a nice damage boost and the main reaction overload is not of concern for the ranged attacks. It's honestly fun to play against any content, not just floaters.
Raiden national is not expensive in my opinion bc u can use 4 star weapons and its fine and u farm xiangling, xingqiu and raiden is the same domain
I run that freeze team (ayaka, ganyu, shenhe and kokomi). Mind you I have c6 ayaka, c1 ganyu, c2 shenhe. It destroys everything lol
Yep, Raiden National/ Hyper Carry is quite expensive to play, I already got C6 Sara from the Raiden 1st banner, now I will wait for guaranteed Kazuha even though I have a C5 Sucrose, farming EM main stat VV artifact set is pain
Expense is a relative term for both primogems and artifact investment, because both of these things are RNG dependent. I can get an Itto with a simple 10 pull and never get a Sucrose because I was just unlucky on her banners, that means for me Itto cost less primogems than Sucrose. Also, I can get a stacked Emblem set within 1000 resin far before I get a VV set with EM main stats, which means for me Raiden was cheaper to build than Sucrose. I know you are talking about things in general but the whole point of the game is investing in characters with artifacts and resources, that is why there is daily resin given to use.
I guess my most expensive team rn is prolly my mono electro team. spine c1 raiden, LP c0 yae, c6 sara, and C5 benny.

I have that hu Tao double geo team, I would t say zhongli is expensive to build for a tanky shield, because it’s literally just hp artifacts that aren’t too hard to get. Millileth set is ideal, but not needed for his core function. But otherwise yeah, it’s pretty expensive. Variants of the national team are expensive because like you said, all 3 of them (XG, XQ, Ben) need a lot of investment for it to work really well.
Fun fact: Ayaka’s weapon actually gives her the most spike in dmg when compared to other 5* characters with their signature weapons. She gets about 40% more dmg in comparison to 10-20% for other 5* characters, so Mistsplitter carries a lot of her dmg. Her dmg is also split amongst all three of her skills. So she herself is pretty expensive even without team consideration.
You're right about the planning part. I've skipped banners just to get the characters I am aiming for. That includes planning on losing 50/50, hehehehehe
I've got a few expensive teams, couple you mentioned here.
Man I accidentally got C1 Raiden. Decided screw it. I'll try for C2, and I got C2…Mona.
Most Resource Hungry Team is Razor Hyper-carry. Correct Weapon, R5, Artifacts with good RNG!!, Cryo unit, Talents maxed, Constellation maxed, Character Level maxed, Teammates that are buff supports towards Normal Attacks, Physical DMG, or Attack, and Elemental Resonance Team Comp. If an account has all this, first of all congrats, and 2nd all these things I’ve listed are required to try and stay relevant in the current meta. It’s a tough break, but I myself enjoy playing Razor, so I’m going to keep striving for the best as a F2P.
I…Really don’t follow what others do, like my main team at the moment is Kamisato siblings with Thoma and Kokomi. It was originally Childe but since we still can’t place characters down in the tea pot, I’ve been taking Ayato everywhere for the time being. I will say my most expensive character to get was Zhongli, mofo took $120 to get his ass home. 😶🌫️
I think that switching albedo for ganyu in the Hu Tao team makes it so much more expensive, especially for the need of an Elegy. I've being using but I dont know if the investiment is well worth it lol
Mine is ayato raiden zhongli and kazuha.
The reason I don’t play raiden national is because not only does it have to be hyper invested, it takes all the best supports for one side. For me hypercarry raiden is much more effective even at c0. However I did randomly get Yae miko early rather than Sara, so that kind of helps for split damage, and got lucky with a skyward blade for him
My most expensive (and favorite team) to use is my Kokomi Tazer Team (Kokomi/Yae/Raiden/Kazuha). It’s cost me alot but it’s incredible fun to use. Once Yelan comes out, my next one will probably be Yoimiya/Yelan/Jean/Venti

For his Ayaka team, does Ganyu need Blizzard Strayer? I have all characters in this comp but only a mid WT set on Ganyu. My Ayaka freeze team is this but with Sucrose instead of Ganyu for the VV buff. Cries in no Kazuha.
I only have to say one think which i honestly feel very fortunate considering all things. I first got shenhe only because I liked her and i was feeling a little bit bored with my current characters even if everyone told me to go for zhongli or wait for kazuha, after that I got Kokomi, again only because I liked her and now I have Ayaka to complement the team and kazuha hasn't done an appearance yet. When he comes I'll probably go for him but I feel very good with my current characters. What I mean to say with all this is to pull for whoever you want because sooner or later someone else is going to come and synergies extremely well with x character like we've seen so far with kokomi and I have no doubt that the same will happen with Yae and others.
My most expensive is Hutao XQ Zhongli Albedo. Took me several months to optimize it (thanks Crimson witch and husk domain)

Lmao, Albedo better replaces Bennett in Itto's team. Gorou is the best support for both Itto and Albedo, whereas Bennett is better used elsewhere. Using Bennett with Itto is like using Bennett with Hu Tao; it does improve your damage but not by a lot bc of diminishing returns on a crazy high attack stat.

Getting ayaka set gave me good pieces for xingqiu so was easy for me to build him also got hes cons getting zhongli so he was just talents investment for me
I can relate with 4 star cons being a pain in the ass to acquire as i can't seem to get more sara cons without getting raiden ones (my sara is at c4 & raiden also) all that just from trying to get c6 sara
My mono Electro is quite expensive with Yae C2R1, Raiden C2 with TheCatch, Sara C6 with PolarStar and.. well Bennett. 5 crowns total.
On the other hand, also my freeze team could be defined expensive. They are all at C0, but Ayaka Kokomi and Ganyu in the same team, with the cryo girls with their signature weapons.
My Eula team (best girl to me) is also her at C0R1, Raiden, Rosaria C6 and …Bennett.
Time-wise, I spent most of the time of artifacts farming for Eula’s pale flame, Blizzard set and and Emblem.
