  1. I'm doing something similar where I try not to unlock a region until the story takes me there, and while I do kind of regret not going for events and stuff, I also feel like it makes my experience better seeing the regions for the first time when I'm supposed to go there

  2. Whenever a new region comes out, i set aside some time to get every waypoint i can get withouth doing quests then i do the archon quest, explore here and there. And many frel pressured by the exploration rewards in Natlan but thats just a cherry on top for ppl like me. U got 2 patches to explore until 80% which is not that hard to get if ur a casual ish explorer

  3. Yeah I’m a pretty new player and I’m only part way through the Liyue main story but I have areas in Sumeru opened up and a lot of Natlan explored so I’ve been able to do all the events since 5.1. It helps that I also have Xilonen, Chasca, and Ororon which makes traversal super easy and I have to farm Natlan materials to level them up anyways so I’ve spent so much time in Natlan even though I’ve never been to Fontaine or Inazuma yet.

  4. What I do is.. I explore the region when I am collecting materials for my characters. The materials are in all different parts so it's easier to just explore while you are on your way.

  5. In my point of view inzuma and sumera and foutain is worth to explore, as F2P player. As well focus world quest, u need the primogems, save up for good dps and sub dps and sup. Just focus making ur first team to go for aybss.

  6. Hey Doro, I had actually noticed something in the travelers design, if you go into his profile and turn him around you’ll see what looks to be 2 identical scars on the back of his elbows, I’m not sure if these actually are scars or not but it is a detail that has caught my interest

  7. My style when a new map or new nation is

    1.unlock all teleport
    2. Settle all quest first (cus new place/area unlock with chest or pyroculus in it)
    3. Start explore 💯 follow yt guide or online map.
    4. Settle the sigil tree/shop and claim any available reward.
    5. Check primo and count pity 🤤.

  8. I do not understand this '100% a region before moving on' self-imposed rule at all. Especially for new accounts. What's the point? If it's to squeeze out primogems, congrats, it's completely off-set by all the lost primos from these events.

  9. I guess it depends on your goal for this series.

Like are you trying to operate like a true F2P player and maxing out as many achievable primos as possible (events included) to obtain a certain character?

Or is your goal to re-experience the story/game as more of a completionist without worrying about the events?

Personally, I think the second option is a more gratifying/organized approach to the F2P series. Also doing story type events twice for your main and alt can get tedious for yourself too. To me, it’s not worth worrying about, BUT it’s your account and what you want to prioritize is the main goal. ❤

  10. At first, I never even noticed that ive already 100% a lot of them. Being f2p makes you hungry to find possible primogem locations once you acquire the treasure compasses. I even got Dragonspine to 100% before any other regions

  11. Personally i really don't like how genshin handles new region based events especially from the perspective of a new player, as aside from the mini events, The limited time archon quest milestone rewards are paìnful to new players and overall hurt the experience of the story for most people as it forces you to spoil the game for yourself, and personally as someone who enjoys going through the story at my own pace, i had to skip at least 4 events because i was still in Inazuma doing the story, and thats about 1600 primogems i skipped as a result.

A better way they could uave handled it is make it start for each player individually based on if they are ready for natlan in terms of story progression and same for the other reasons and then begin the mini events for the archon quests to actively encourage players to focus on the story instead of the exploration.

And my other thing i find annoying abosut the current ones for natlan is they want you to rush through and do this while the strike is going on and potentially ruining the aspect of getting ro hear the reactions od most characters from the story, and right now there are still actors on strike, but some of them seem to have gone back to work, such as Ctlali and Ooaron's VA's.

but as for everyone else i would deliberately wait years if it means i get to experiece the story the way it was intended instead of quiet cutscenes with little to no sound effects or dialog.

again this is from the prospective of a new player, and sure you could just be one of those types that simply doesn't care and do it anyway without bothering to watch the cutscenes and skip dialogs or whatever but it still sucls because there is no actual threatre mode to go back and watch every little cutscene you've experienced.

  12. I mean its monstar you can 100% this region pretty quick (not included dargon vain). But yeah don't do this if you rush or need more primo, for my tips at list unlock some statue of every region for easy tp especially sumeru.

  13. Once I got to like AR 20 I go and explore the whole map. I will walk all the way to Fontaine, through the whole desert, and everything to unlock every SotS and Waypoint, and Domain.
Then I just wait to get to Inazuma-

  14. I'm doing similar thing too, try to 100% Mondstand before moving to another nation, and even try to not ascend the world level, still on world level 1. Even I know i can't do a lot of things due to limitation of world level, but it's kinda fun on its own way, and I'm enjoying that. Just playing on 2nd acc to chill around after there's barely nothing to explore on 1st acc
