They made kokomi trash so they can easily powercreep later xD and also to give everyone the. Worst 5 star whoever tries rerolling for her xD
Is a terrible marketing strategy that I really don't get… In the other two games Mihoyo is really more generous. Though if they have a big big surprise, at this point, it won't be welcomed, they really made everyone angry. Terrible.
I get that this stuff usually ramps up over time and it's only the first anniversary… But Genshin is freaking huge… And so far it doesn't feel special at all. Inazuma started so strong but everything has been going downhill since Yoimiya released….

maybe im on Hopium but how is it posible that MHY didnt get us a " 1st Anniversary-Profile-Card-Thing", they give them for every bullshit but not for the 1st Annoversary? its SUS! I have Hope that they are just playing Games with us.

I felt just insulted reading that announcement… not because of the "amount" of rewards itself, but because it felt like miHoYo do not care about the dedication of Genshin Impact's playerbase… what are we to that company?

I didn't spend on the welkin moon or the battlepass cause these goons are way too cheap. I'm now free to play and not budget player. It's so ridiculous.

I don't care what anniversary rewards mihoyo giving us,but give away is kinda fuck up,only 10% players getting hopium other 90% all copium,you guys forgot how bad 1.3 primos give away is,i not saying cosplay and drawing contest these are great,seriously players spending a lot of time even money playing your game you only giving us just little treatments players only getting mad,be honest like i said before i don't care what rewards they giving,i prefer they giving us a roadmap.

Even if this is not it, and they have more stuff planned, the least they could of done to counter all the outrage would be say at the bottom of the post "but this is not it, there will be more to come!"
The fact they didn't do that tells me they're either incompetent or they literally have nothing else to come… My only other theory is that 2.2 is actually the anniversary patch and the banners may not be simple re-runs but allow you to pick from multiple reruns like the Honkai anniversary banners, but I highly doubt it.
I haven't spent a cent in genshin impact, but I honestly feel so bad for the people that did spend money. Because some of these people spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and they're not getting appreciated. I honestly don't blame them if they decided to quit the game altogether
Can you do a guide which sands ATK%/ER and goblet ELECTRO/ATK% for raiden shogun? Im still confused which of them truly maximize her damage output. Thank you and i truly appreciate it.

Genshin's Older sister games have a better first year anniversary rewards than this.
I stopped buying the Welkin moon pass during Eula banner and with the anniversary rewards even strengthens my resolve on not to spend anymore on this game the only reason I’m still playing this is lore, characters and for it’s open world mechanic but to fuel my gacha addiction I prefer other games and spend my money with actual good things like the guaranteed 5 Star character banner in FGO

Know what? These anniversary "gifts" remind me of the normal gotcha events they do in Honkai. And no one is talking about it.
Honkai has these gatcha give aways all the time, they gave away phones, games, etc.
I don't think those events are very popular, I know I never got into them because how random it is.
They could have given us one of the standard 5 stars for free. It wouldn't have hurt em at all. Plus would have given players accounts a small boost. I know I'd love a free Gravestone. 🙁
Oh you all say mihiyo.. but compare the honkai impact anniversary to genshin's.. it's specifically the genshin team that's aweful
I am one of those who are going to quit if they change nothing during this week. Maybe I will come back for a few days to check out Sumeru or dendro, but all this stuff that has been going on since Yoimiya's banner made me realize that I should stop making any long-term goals in this game and stop wasting my time on dailies and resin spending, not even talking about fishing and trash events. I've started playing a couple weeks after the game release and now I just feel that I threw my time into the trashcan
I think people are jumping the gun, these are COMMUNITY EVENT rewards, let's wait to see what happens next week before we lose our shit

This is sad. I know plenty of gacha games that gave you a ten pull a day for a whole week on their 1st. Another gave like 5 for a half-year.

Tbh, i think theres more.
But i feel so disappointed.. been supporting Mihoyo since GunGirls, to Honkai to Genshin. I feel so backstabbed. Sadge. Just lose 50/50 Kokomi, more primogems will help for me to get my Kokomi. Idontgiveafck about iphone, i just want primogems.

Honestly, it's not even the question of rewards for me anymore. It's the question of miHoYo's appreciation of artists' labor. Like, you're saying, I'm going to spend 5 to 10 hours of my time (maybe even more) to just get 100k mora?? I feel like, even if they give us something worth at this point, the fact that they thought they could get the talanted artists in the community to work for them for free and not acknowledge or appreciate them in any way is just disgusting. I swear, if somebody from the community tries to excuse that with them being a company or us being ungrateful once again …………..
