Mavuika, Citlali, and Lan Yan all have some large pros though pretty low cons. If you love situational units, then this is the patch for you. Otherwise, you’ll be just as disappointed as I am.

Mavuika (w/o Natlan characters): Play as support/sub-DPS
Mavuika (with Natlan SUPPORTS): Play as main DPS
Think Xiangling is a little too overhyped, but if you have played her long enough, you know that her ER requirements can be extremely stifling even with Bennet on the team, and even worse in Floor 12 with many Bosses who don't drop much energy particles. I have 252% ER on her, and there are still times i have to waste time casting Benny's skill another time to funnel particles to her. So Mavuika does satisfy that role as an off-field pyro applier and buffer especially for normal attacking main DPS, like Ayato? Yoimiya or any other normal attacking main dps. (Though fighting spirit gained from normal attacks are nominal, but clearly that was the intention behind the kit)
As her role for Main DPS: because building a team around her can be quite restrictive, they had to compensate her with higher dmg. The principle is the same back in 4.0 with the HP drain mechanics. They have basically enabled power creep by imposing a restriction/cost/limitation of some sort to balance it out.
I don't see a problem with Mavuika's kit, but she isn't a 'must-pull' compared to Furina or Nahida. Mavuika will definitely have a much higher DPS ceiling, but requires high investment costs. Hoyo knows what its doing, and is targeting the 1% of players who are going to C6R5 her. Or at least, get people to max out on her as much as possible.
I just want her to let me forget of Arlecchino, a new character with the some damage but which I can heal whenever I want. And, if I need, a character that can maximize my Mualani as a good pyro applier. This is enough for me.

After 1:04 I stopped watching this video. This level of bullshit only indicates that the author did not even try to understand the mechanics of the character.
The duration of the tap version of the skill depends only on the consumption of nightsoul points, and not on the Natlan characters in the team and in general does not exceed 12 seconds in conditions where Mavuika does not activate elemental burst.

Mavuika's bike attack animation is so ugly I'm gonna reduce her to a triple EM burgeon trigger so she only has to stay on field when casting her E.
I think citlali should be able to decrease cryo res aswell as + it would add to her own personal dmg + if your going to runa freeze/melt comp you would need a cryo in order to do that which helps buffs cryo a bit more as its a forgotten element from hoyo and gives more synergy to those comps

One of Citlali's constellations increases her res shred from 20% to 40% if I'm not mistaken, It's either c1 or c2, but I think it's c2. So basically it's because hoyo wants you to spend for it lol.

Agreed, I wanted a Xiangling upgrade or at least sidegrade but she is a downgrade. The 11th on field pyro DPS is of 0 use to me.
One more thing about Citali :
EM main stat artifacts are absurdly rare, it's unlikely we'll be able to build her for both shield and damage at the same time and even then she'll have like 50:100 crit ratio at best. And these artifacts need to be on-set too, from a set that's not yet strongboxable and is paired with the other Natlan set me and other Natlan unit skippers have no use for. Realistic builds will have like 30 Crit rate and 30 Crit damage total on her substats at best.
Her role looks like Changli's in WutherWave is Hoyovers creating a new play style: Dual Carry/Quick Swap?

im one of those people who think , Xilonen, chaska and mavuika have embarrassing animations, that does not fit in the game at all..
I love their look, but can't bring myself to waste even one primogem on those out of theme animation. Sadly.. Mavuika will be no exception, even if i think she look super good and cool, but this is not the right game.
