  1. I honestly think people should just grow up. Its a video game yet the level of entitlement is insane. They believe they can strong-arm a company to do what they want and it’s pathetic. A symptom of them living their entire lives outside the real one.

  2. Lmao, censorship IN CHINA? GASP.

No, but really, if you're not happy with the game, then stop playing. Sheesh. I thought the drama was just because Hoyo has favoritism. Like, girl, everyone know they have favorite kids in the company. :))

  3. Tbh whales in genshin kinda hypocrite they complained after buying all the goodies in genshin shop and ask them to not spend πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ tbh just wait genshin 4 years where story ends and then u can say the game is dead 😒

  4. This will all be avoided, if people just quit the game and let the casuals( the people that it is actually made for) play it happily and not ask for dumb crap like endgame, which they have already said they are not adding

  5. What surprises me is how we still have people who get surprised when stuff like this happens on Chinese games. To be clear, this is not a take on Chinese people or their game companies, but on Chinese government (which Hei is referring as the "CCP members" here).
The way China works is that every single company in the country is watched and macro-managed by a sector of the government that takes care of censorship and other guidelines that must be in conformity with China's "ideologies".
So it doesn't matter if the game is really cool and seemly innocent and non-political. Doesn't matter what the game companies think of these situations either. They either comply or get their business abruptly terminated. People who get into chinese games you should know that this is how it is and, unlike games from other countries, no amount of "internet outrage" is going to make the CCP back down or even reconsider their policies.

  6. Fingers crossed Wuthering Waves becomes the final nail in Genshin's coffin. Hoyo will still be around kicking, but maybe at least they'll finally begin to treat their players and fans with the respect they deserve

  7. I am pretty sure Hoyoverse removed any talk of Dehya and her problems on their own forums.
They also completely ignored any feedback from players on that issue. So yeah they are very much aware of the discontent but chooses to at the very least ignore it.
So I wouldn't be surprised if they did actually take down videos on Chinese platforms, because they can.

  8. I just wanted to point out something: if you played the game for some time you'd realize that Genshin has some massive issues on your own, without Tectone's input. The fact so many people say "Tectone was right" only tells me you are either blind or you simply don't play the game

Either way, if the allegations are true, then I'm expecting their whole community to revolt against them: we're talking about censorship here, I don't know if you people understand how bad it is

  9. You know I've been thinking it's kind of strange that the banners are a new character, one lots wanted for some reason don't know why, and a very powerful character Nahida. As far as I know other than leaks I believe these banners weren't released until after all of this gained ground. Pretty strange if you ask me. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they turn Nahida into the next Eula and don't have her rerun for a year just to make ppl feel bad for not spending money on the game. They're already "silencing" ppl for talking bad so it won't be surprising if they stoop even lower.

  10. Tectone deserves all the flak he gets. Let's not forget how he was calling people p3d0s for liking l3wd fanart of "younger-presenting" characters – this drives people away from the game.

  11. 3 years of the same drama, I am really glad that I play this game only for the main Archon Quest and to build characters for no reason at all. They could have atleast extended the resin cap and added a feature like HSR where the extra resin just gets stored; No extra money or time or any other resources required beyond what is already in the game.

  13. Fun Fact: While teccy still Sh.ting on CC's. Chinese players who started the drama is not boycotting the game, i repeat, NOT Boycotting GI. In fact, xianyun's banner has the highest first day revenue so farπŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… backfired much.

Also i just realized, Chinese players are annoyed not by the 3 rewards too few, but the way it was presented.

Oh, how Tectone manipulated the issue, create a civil war between CC's. Farming views, eating drama for breakfast (literally feeds him). Good jobπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  14. i kind of over all this hoyo controversy stuff. I dont care. I dont play the game because Hoyo, i dont care if the give me free stuff, all the free stuff in the worlds coudnt keep me playing if the game wasnt good. they owe us nothing but a good product with they keep delivering.
All this isnt me trying to deffend them, cencoring and taking down videos is really scummy. I just think the the community is extremly selfish and entiteld. I mean the whole reason why palworld is so popular is because its a good game, despite all the controversy. But for genshin its the players making controversies out of stuff theat really isnt anything.

  15. i am using the Occam's razor, the genshin part of hoyoverse has been consistently wrong, stubborn, cheap, really really really hating it's own playerbase and basically never doing things to actually improve the game, the QOL updates in fontaine actually surprised me INCREDIBLY, because they are finally listening to the community after 3 years of dead silence, since the game's launch basically hoyoverse seems like they hate their own game and hate the people that play it, i would be literally impressed if hoyoverse isn't taking down videos criticizing them, since they ALREADY did a simmilar thing with genshin controversies in the past, like the inazuma chinese new year, like the game's anniversary drama that got so fucked up that even mutahar covered it, when they literally deleated game reviews and bought bots to supress the backlash, honestly, common hoyoverse L, and the clown are us that still play the game, i don't even bother trying to boycott it because the genshin community, as mtashed said recently "(…) are a bunch of little kids that can't agree with each other (…)" and that would never be possible because side A can't agree with side B because they hate each other so fucking much that if side A did a boycott, side B would try supressing it and try to dickride mihoyol, and literally VICE VERSA, i hate the genshin community, i hate the mihoyo managers, i hate the hoyoverse CEO for literally not caring about anything, i think the only part that i actually respect are the devs (only because fontaine is a banger, the entirety of sumeru is literally worse than mondstat) and the leakers.
