This video, for some reason, is the one that made me pull for Lyney. I had the guaranteed and was 22 pulls away from hard pity. I was saving everything I had for my favourite character's constellation: Childe. I GAVE IN. I PULLED AND GOT LYNEY at hard pity. I do not regret this at all. He's super fun to play and I love both his design and character.
but damn, now I'll have to farm all of Fontaine and 100% every region to guarantee myself at least one childe const π

Lyney is a flush hp damaging character he loses hp to attack stronger and regain hp to repeat it. You have to manage your health without letting him die to be able to play as him.
every fontaine character does the dolphin dive (including traveler)
as someone who got him in a first 10 pull it hurts to see people wishing for him with 120 wishes(i feel bad)

I appreciate that you still got him for collection's sake, but I agree it won't be easy to use him on your account and you shouldn't worry about it too much, unless you find you really need his Pneuma functionality in the future. I pulled him and he feels great on a normal account, surpassed my expectations! PS I like how you had an upbeat and positive mood in this video

i have a FontaineOnly account and Lyney was – obviously – the first 5* event character i was able to wish for. i have him on pretty random artifacts for the moment, but he has a good crit ratio and around 2.4k attack (lvl 80) in a mono pyro team. his damage is nuts compared to what i was working with before Fontaine π but he's also nice for melt, i figured. so yeah, it means wasting his passive, but since you can't do mono pyro on Bows Only, melt is a very good option!
the new craftable weapon is good for him btw. if you don't have a 5* bow (like me on that account), Song of Stillness is the weapon to go. i still have to raise it to lvl 90; i'm curious to see where his attack ends up π

Lyney, Venti, Amber and Diona is probably your best bet. You could also meme around with burning if you replaced Venti with Collei.

I'm going lyney, amber, collei and diona on my bows only account. collei lets the pyro aura last longer. you don't have to play him tripel pyro. If I get venti I might drop diona for content that you can crowd control.
I did my first pull on lyney and just made a bet with my friend that if I get lyney on first trI pay she pay me 500 rupees and if I don't I will give her 500 rupees and we'll I got it on first try of genshin 4.0…….

you can make airfrier team with Lyney, Collei, Amber and Venti! It is a pretty good team and you can have other strong side as well

You can actually Mine Ores using Lyney Grim-Malkin Hat just use level 2 charge attack and E when the Grim-Malkin Hat explodes it's actually somehow damage the ores
he doesnt use an hp sands, he wants atk since he doesnt actually scale on hp

You could do amber with noblesse, venti with VV, lyney with the new hunter set because it's his best and diona, her shield is useful and lyney needs to be healed in order to get more stacks, it's also good that Diona doesn't apply much cryo because enemies need to have pyro aura on them to proc lyney's passive, remember that the third pyro character gives him only 20% more pyro, which is still good, but you don't have to force it, personally, if I pulled lyney, my team of choice would be him, Benny, kazuha and zhongli, no third pyro because who would I use, dehya is redundant if you use zhongli (not that I have her), and I don't use xiangling. The reason why I don't get him is cuz I don't have zhongli
1. New artifacts – Both Lyney and Fischl can do well with the new artifacts so i recommend doing that
2. Lyney, Amber, Venti, Faruzan would be good imo. Sub Dps Venti could be cool. But definitely save a lot of ER of all of them. Yoimiya could also replace Faru but she would also just be sort of a waste since shes good as a dps with Fischl, Yelan and the other units u got.
How about building him with some em to pair him with for example burst Ganyu and get melts, not his bis but thats what i did and he works well.
Deelo you could try a ganyu lyney comp i heard they work pretty well you could try a melt comp whit them and then a team whit like amber and diona

Oh no duh he didn't do any damage against those Mondstadt Hilichurls, he was Level 50. Didn't have his A4 Passive, that's how he does more damage against things that have Pyro on them.
Im pretty sure hamayumi would be much better then viridescent Hunt because of the passive but the scion of the blazing sun would be better.

I know hes meant to be mono pyro, but there is a chance you could do some melt shenanigans with ganyu/diona
This team u could try Gorou (archaic petra)+ venti + Amber (noblesse) pyro res + Lyney
2 pyro may not max out his passive but still will not do that much harm to his damage
