To the DPS meters and the getting good argument. I did not get gud from recount analysis or parses … here let grandpa recollect the ancient times … When quake was new and CS a mod and PCs potato bricks with a few hundred MHz, we could record demo files of our play and play it back within the game. So one could analyse their own play and trade demo files with other people to study each others play or show-of trophy good runs. As these demofiles are only recording position per tick these files were only a few KB or MB big.
With a mmo client record feature people could scrub within server tick to server tick and analyse what happened without much overhead to the PC. sure it will be a bit more information as a tick in quake or CS back then. This could also open up syncing demo files with more perspectives of all or most chars involved as more people can just record on their potato rigs. This would make analysis much easier and more detailed for anyone involved. Besides this on the other hand could give the cinematically inclined people a great source of video material like back in the day with the CS and Quake reels.
It's sad how dogshit gacha games like zzzZZZ get to have so much development funding and detail because of the amount of money vohiyo makes with their other dogshit gacha game Gen$hit.
Quality PC games sadly make way less money than dogshit mobile games, it is what it is…

im so ashamed of myself for the amount of money i wasted on this game like, within a few days of launch even. it was a good learning lesson for me.
I love lost ark. No game has given me as much free entertainment as this game in a long ass time. There is a certain charm to LA that comes from wonky things like the bad story and sketchy localization. I find myself laughing and having so much fun in the game.

Fortunatly lost ark is privatly owned company and they won't be hiring some corporate andy to replace gold river because they don't have to worry about pleasing investors like activision/blizzard did
