I totally I agree with you. Spending so much in just a game is a very dangerous thing.
I love seeing you happy and enjoying the game, which probably a majority of your viewers share the same thought. Only pull for the characters YOU LOVE and want in your team, and everyone else will be happy to see your bright smile! If you need to spend to get another pull for that fav character, I'm sure people will want to help or cheer you on in the hopes you get them! I am really proud of you for finally speaking your mind about this. I could tell even in your early streams/clips playing Genshin you weren't super comfortable with spending other people's money for your gachas. I think it takes a lot of courage to say no to this since its so popular right now and I hope you have less stress and guilt playing the game now!

Gacha is predatory no matter how "nice" their pity system is. Gambling is gambling. It's great you're taking control of the spending on your genshin account by not accepting donations.👍🏽

Hey look, it's female mtashed, quitting Genshin video coming when? Jokes aside, it's up to you and i agree. I don't think throwing your wallet at the screen to win and then complaining when there is no challenge is a very healthy way to enjoy the game. For me, saving the free primogems, investing a lil money here and there is ok, a battle pass or a welkin. All is good. Then saving those primogems and using them effectively in a resource management kind of way is the way that is more enjoyable. My opinion tho.

Honestly in Genshin if ur F2P the amount of primogems you spend is the same amount of just spending money so if u skip a few banners then ur primogems will be stacked and of course u need to play it everyday to get that. And Sarah, pls don’t feel guilty is okay ..people just want to watch you pull. But I understand that u don’t feel comfortable and felt guilty.

so I also don't need money for my phone credits but I need the number to stay alive.. I put money on my mobile number and use the phone credit to purchase Genshin's battlepass , welkins and sometimes primogems … soooo its a win win for me

This is a really good message, i wish more people would do the same. Gacha games can be very unhealthy for those with low self-control, while the majority can handle it and won't spend money or spend very casually, a minority will get addicted and spend more than they can afford and ruin themselves, and i feel like giving money to specifically ask someone to gamble can only make things worse for people easily addicted. And let's not forget the minority for a game played by millions can represent tens of thousands of people.

Yeah I can totally understand where you’re coming, I myself found it crazy how I was burning through all my money, that’s why I’ve kind of stopped and have skipped several banners.
As a whale (a little one, mind you), I really respect your decision. Gacha are super addictive, and you should only spend money if you're budgeting it : not only should you be able to afford it at the moment, but it also shouldn't jeopardize your mid and long-term finances. Keep tabs on your spending, and think of what you could have bought with the money, it helps putting things into perspective.
WATCH THE INAZUMA TRAILER
Being a whale in this game , will actually make you spend more time playing due to x6 resin spending (like what 30mins more) but immensely increasing the goodies you can get with resin , ex. artifacts / mora / xp / talents for all chars. You don't need this to enjoy the game though. Just need good ~10 chars with a ton of good artifacts to clear fully the game. Sure , it will take time ,but it's possible to make it as f2p. Personally having a "sub" (bp+moonkin) is my form of enjoying most the game ,while feeling i'm supporting the game company and also getting some rewards for it.
