  1. Iā€™m gonna be using my guarantee for Baizhu as Iā€™ve been enjoying dendro so far and I want kaveh too^^, so Iā€™ll probably go for nahida and nilou on their reruns as I want baizhu and kaveh more atm. Also I kind of want to try mono dendro with baizhu, kaveh, alhaitham and collei just for fun šŸ™‚

  2. I'm going to have to skip the next few banners and save my guarantee for a different character. Baizhu and Kaveh aren't really good enough for me to pull and for them to replace Nahida and Yaoyao.

  3. I finally got Nilou this rerun and she's really impressed me! Still getting used to how to best procc the cores, but she absolutely wrecked a chunk of the Abyss even on sub-par equipment, and I can't wait to see how she does with Baizhu as well.
    Great overview of everything!

  5. Honestly feel like having Dendro and Hydro in team makes total sense.
Pyro & Electro will just ruin bountiful cores.
Geo, only use is Zhongli, but she is tanky and her dance can't be interrupted anyway.
Anemo, you don't need crowd control when you already have so much AOE.
Cryo don't react with Dendro anyway. But it doesn't ruin Bountiful cores so it seems alright.

  6. I'm playing Nilou ever since she was released and I seriously don't see her 'restriction' to two-element teams like real restriction. Quite the opposite: you can slap your worst units with her and they'll do great as long as you level them up and give them some EM. She's a beast, they had to put that restriction on her passive because without it she'd be completely broken, this way she's "only" on par with hyperbloom. I don't need to contemplate which team I'll put my Xingqiu or Yelan or Bennett on because Nilou is just fine with Barbara and DMC.

  7. Finally more genshin content. Personally since I already have Nahida and Nilou and aren't interested in Baizhu and Kaveh anymore I'll just be saving for Fontaine characters. Unless there's a really strong dps character coming in the next few patches.
But here's a thought Joshua, what do you think about a discussion video about how hoyo could change up the gameplay/ add new mechanics to make 4.0 refreshing. I believe that if it's the same vape meta from way back when that it won't be exciting.

They have to do something to make new units more appealing and since Fontaine is the HP nation I'm assuming that hp scaling is gonna be the new meta and enemies are gonna have some kind of ability that absolutely wrecks your HP. Maybe something like damage reflect that bypasses shields. Dehya was most likely a test unit for hoyo's damage redirection mechanic and there are probably gonna be more with that ability (hopefully with better execution) and this is a possible way to make that mechanic useful.

Edit: Forget to mention, I've watched the entire video and it is indeed a very informative video for folk who need help deciding indeed.

  8. Ganyu's information ain't quite accurate, whilst you want to Charge attack as often as possible on paper. In practice you can't do so, as mobs will either cancel your attack or kill you if you spend too much time attempting Charge attack on your Ganyu. That's because Mihoyo made sure to make as many enemies as possible be either un-freezable or have strong freeze resistance, thus resulting in you throwing 1-2 Charge attack max per rotation. Therefore her Charge attack gameplay don't matter too much anymore. In the current abyss if you play Ganyu Freeze team, you're most likely gonna play it in the 2nd half. When you're facing the 3rd chamber, believe me you cannot throw any Charge Attack, the magu kenki will rip-you apart. Instead you're on-fielding your anemo character and trying to get as much DMG out of it as possible. Basically to say that her charged attack play style won't matter too much. Something to also keep in mind, for her Melt team (the higher DPS version) of Ganyu's teams. Is that whilst it's more DMG. Zhongli doesn't contribute enough that much to your overall DMG and Xiangling requires you to be in close proximity to your enemies, which basically means that you need some kind of VERTICAL investment to be able to clear comfortably, as you either have to run Zhongli for his shield, or you're running Kazuha, but then you can't do too many charge attack.
Where I'm getting at is that, Ganyu is still extremely strong, but she isn't as strong as she use to be as most enemies in Abyss Chamber 12 aren't Freezable anymore. C6 solve those issues, but that's quite expensive.
