  1. w8.. genshin? expect you to cry? after those hi3 stuff? im upto date to genshin but i never felt the same emotion as i had in hi3. Thats the difference and I get it why he also felt like that. Proves how genshin cant top hi3 in terms of making you felt depress or sad.

  2. Bruh, I find it mind-boggling how sensitive and childish these Genshintards are. Normally, when u watch the reaction of someone else, u expect it to be unique or distinct. Now comes kiddos who have sm free time, watching hrs of reaction of the quest they alr did but if ur reaction is not similar to them, they turn to their Autism mode and criticize u.
P.s: Gacha fans, esp. Genshintards are bunch of bozos.

  3. IMO, being a streamer or CC also requires a certain level of professionalism. You are not just a player but a performer. You can either act like you still have passion with this game or just focus on making 1999 videos only (maybe play GI off stream if you still curious about the ending). I stopped watching your video or stream long time ago only because I found other streamers that can provide me more satisfaction and my time is limited. Anyway, I hope you can think it through and make the right choice in the end.

  4. Stopped watching your content months ago when it became clear you really don't care about genshin that much anymore. It's fine to move on to your other interests and make content you are passionate about. That will give your audience a chance to make a decision to either continue supporting you or to move on and find others who fit their needs it's that simple. Good luck

  5. Genshin makes its players burnt out by dragging the story for too long and too safe for the Playable Characters, which make it unrealistic or out of touch. Let me explain. HI3 is cruel. Some PCs could be d!e here and there, which makes the story more thrilling and engaging. And through the loss, we can feel the touch from the game developers to the story.
Meanwhile in GI, tbh, I really like the story and cultural adaptations, and how they concepts the world in it. BUT, the character just meh. As if the MC only have to flick their fingers while saying, you'll be my friend. And you too. And you. And you. And so on through eternity. Thus forget what is their main reason they're in Teyvat in the first place. And adding salt to the wound, Paimon. She's way too much always downplaying the conflicts. Idk why Genshin paint her like that. I know she's annoying. But, she's too positive that I don't think it's realistic in every situation. So, the verdict is Genshin is too childish. At least it's not suitable for someone like me, and maybe for people who have high expectation of it. That's why it would easily slipped out of our mind. We get bored thus burnt-out.
P.S. Genshin community is basically toxic right off the bat. And people online just thumbs warriors at best. They can type whatever they want in internet. So don't bother to what they said. Do whatever you want, as long as it's not breaking any laws. Enjoy your life, Island. ^^

  6. the gatcha community is just toxic, i played league a lot before, but league community doesn´t come close to gatcha communities when it comes to toxicity and on top of that there are a lot of incels and weirdos, really the gatcha community is awful and I´m sorry that you as a content creator have to listen to all these weird takes and people want you to quit. If you enjoy the game they way you do, then don´t stop. You aren´t hurting other peoples they are hurting you

  7. I’ve been watching your streams since my second year of college, and now that I’ve graduated and am working, I don’t have much time to play anymore, nor do I want to deal with burnout. I’m still interested in the stories though.
YOU DO YOU. Do what feels right for you and quit Genshin Impact like I did if you’re feeling burnt out. Don’t force yourself, and trust your own instincts, not what other snowflakes say. You can always come back to playing if you feel like it or don't.

  8. Island, you should continue doing what you enjoy doing. Just like how the game shouldn't expect you to react the way it wants to, as a content creator yourself, you shouldn't expect your viewers to react they way you want them to. If they criticize, either ignore them or use them for your own improvement. But never try to justify your actions to change your viewers' perspectives. This is a much healthier relationship between CCs and viewers.

  9. As someone who left a comment on the stream before, I didn't expect you make a follow up video about it lol

I thought we are just going to move on from it.

But I'm guessing it's hit quite hard as I'm not the only one that express disappointment.

Look, it's not that I (I'm not going to use "we" as people had a different opinions) want some overreaction from the lore drop or sad event that happen in the story.

It just that you make it as if you don't even interested in the game at all.

That's why all the comment said why bother playing it then?

Why not just take a break and stop playing it in a while?

The way you played it, make peoples get assumption that you even force yourself to finished it.

Even I'm kinda forcing myself to watch you before, to see that if you actually payed attention or even interested in the story.

But the one that seal the deal to me is that you just ignore all the npc and be line to the main quest line, as if you just want to be done with it.

I guessing I'm putting my expectation too high, cause you in the past wouldn't missed that.

And I probably should've silently left so I don't get upset that much. haha

But welp it's already done and I've also left a comment on there.

    So here we are lol

    Anyway…

As your kinda long time fans, just be yourself.

There are some peoples like me that definitely going to be upset, that you didn't seem care. (while you actually care it just that you're not expressing it… probably)

You can't please everyone after all.

Just play what you wanted to played, don't force yourself.

As for me, I probably going not going to watch you for a while.

It just the last couple streams is not vibing to me that much.

So I wanted to see you off as a fans, not turning into a hater.

    So good luck and cheers!

  10. To be truly rational, different viewers have different needs. Some viewers like to see streamers moved by the story, some prefer deep analysis of the plot, others enjoy watching impressive gameplay, and some just like the streamer no matter what they play. Ultimately, what's most important is how you feel about it. What kind of streamer do you want to be? What kind of audience do you want to serve? If you don't clarify this for yourself, more drama could arise in the future.

If you're genuinely tired of this game, and its story, characters, and open world no longer interest you, it's totally reasonable to quit—that's completely fair. But if you're still interested in the game, and it's just some viewers who are unhappy with your reactions, then you should quickly figure out what type of streamer you want to be and what emotional value you're offering your viewers.

I enjoy watching you play Genshin Impact, but I don't want you to force yourself to play it to the point where you end up resenting the game or the community, like Tectone did, becoming an anti-Genshin streamer.

  11. Basically it's a disconnection from the viewers expectations and the streamers reaction. That's why they gave those comments. On my opinion most viewers seeks connection or relatability and curiosity to what they experienced to the streamers reaction.

  12. Man i caught your stream yesterday but i didn't get to catch chat being like this because i was trying to catch up with your actual reaction on the archon quest which was overall pretty normal for me, i don't expect all genshin cc's to get all out and get over exaggerating, as a burnt out player myself and a lore nerd I'm just satisfied how it's being confirmed but keep it at a low to manage my expectations, but please take your time with playing the game, if there's other content or game that you want to try by all means go for it! please don't let these people get to you.

  13. It's not that people want to see you scream with excitement or cry all the time, but as viewers, especially those who have been watching you for a long time, they've noticed your lack of interest, and it feels (maybe it's not true) like you're forcing yourself to play. I think most people are suggesting that you stop playing, or at least play offline, so you can regain that spark you had before, not because they dislike you or how you play. It’s not guaranteed that will happen, but at least it won’t be uncomfortable for both sides (the creator and the viewer)

  14. For me it seems like they not really come expecting you to react/emotional to everything. They just know in the past you react the same way and they feel connected to you. Now it doesn't feel the same. Because they don't know what you've been through, what's going on.

What they know every time I got here I feel connected but suddenly you making joke about it. Of course they shocked. Some of them expressing it in a good way, but some of them straight up criticizing you.

But on the other hand, you do know what you need, some of us who follows you now what you need.

I know that you know, that we know, that you're not invested in this game anymore, realizing that waaay before and even making video about it, too.

If you need a break, just do it!! you don't have to tell us when you'll be back or not, sure most of us who follows u miss you, but you do you.

If these are still going on and you respond it again, we as whole community will slowly become a clown. You're tired, you explain, tired again, slowly audience tired of your shit too, and then everybody become villain that don't care about anything but expect everything to you, and voila, the recipe becoming clown is hot and ready to serve..

  15. hey man, if u lost sparks in genshin then that's fine, it's valid. you should be true to yourself and stop playing or for better, livestreaming genshin. there's no good outcome to forcing things you don't wanna do anymore esp being a genshin cc that focuses on the lore, many of your viewers will still be dissapointed. you are not being hated, you should understand what they are pointing out.

  16. Tbf I never really came to you in terms of hoyo lore. Genshin had minslief and ashikai. Which are still going strong till this day. And with hi3 I'd just go to homu labs and oofie or sumthin, maybe a bit of UD in there.

  17. Bro think their fans wanted him to cry and fake smiles and shi!😂 bro stop making everybody looks bad. We just want to enjoy the game the same way as you did before but surely you don’t even CARE😅, what’s next? You want Skip button straight up to the cut scenes aren’t you?

  18. I think people are disappointed because you didn't seem genuine enough.. I don't think act4 was something to cry about anyway. In fact I dislike it when some CCs fake over reaction.

I have no right to tell you to stop playing I mean your life your rules..

But I have also felt like you lost interest in genshin long ago that's why I stopped watching too.. I think most CCs are really burnt out of genshin and that's okay..I wish you all the best in enjoying whatever you play..

But know that people who are saying this aren't "random hater NPC no.3 , no.4"

  19. Natlan is too boring, so its understandable to make some jokes. Im not a streamer and was playing it just by myself and i was swearing at hoyo nonstop cuz otherwise it was unbearable mess and i would altF4.

  20. just quit at this point no need to find excuses to say that you like being entertained or you feel the need to stream it when youre clearly not. Youre just lying to yourself and to your audience and its perfectly clear and its fine, everyone quits just stop bitching and whining with fake excuses to justify your lazy ahh behavior in these streams -_-

  21. Honestly you shouldn't take Genshin Impact fans feedback too seriously… Like you said before that a lot has been discussed ages ago.

Additionally most of the lore in Genshin Impact is HEAVY on books not in story…

I will say it here… Most of the lore i didn't even know at all despite never skip any story… Why? Its in books!!! How would I know!!!

So your reaction to story lore is very valid. Because that's 10% of the entire game lore…

You can ask Ashikai about this too. She would even say she found the lore from books most of the time.

  22. Additionally this may sound weird but Genshin Impact would never be sad too. They only kill random NPC we don't even know…

Its a totally different feelings than losing Himeko who is the MC's teacher. That's like Naruto when he saw Kakashi die in front of him.

    That would be devastating feelings…

Oh yeah we have that now… Watch latest One Piece than you will know…

The difference between random NPC death and a GREAT mentor character.

    It hit different…

  25. You could just stop playing Genshin Impact atm because it seems like you've lost interest and got burned out and that is fine. I did stop for three months because of that same reason, though I regained it, though I no longer follow you I definitely think you should play what you want and wish you the best of luck
