I'm actually surprised that neither you nor anyone else I've see play this have picked up on Hoyoverse potentially teasing something BIG through Venti's parting words, "We should all meet up again when the Spring Breeze blows." Venti just, straight up, invited a large portion of the Main Liyue Characters, including Zhongli, to Monstadt for either Windblume or Ludi Harpastum (whichever Monstadt Festival Hoyoverse chooses to celebrate this year). And, given where we find Venti after dinner, it would not surprise me if he also extended the same invitation to Kazuha. This also, to me, teases Hoyoverse actually bringing back a Monstadt Spring Festival since there wasn't one last year. And this excites me since I didn't get to participate in either Festival during Year One since I had just started playing in April of that year, so by the time I was high enough AR to actually participate in Events, the Spring Festivals were already over. 😢

I cried during the lantern rite cutscene too Lorie. I’ve attended all 3 lantern rites so far and I’ve cried watching every one. This event just holds such a special place in my heart, it’s just so wholesome and beautiful. Hoyo out does themselves every time it’s amazing. I hope u enjoyed it Lorie!

I just realized the parallels between the relationship of Guizhong and Morax to Makoto and Ei. The former is a pacifist god whose strength is their intelligence is wisdom, whereas the latter is a warrior who solves problems through brute force. Together they balance each other, the brains to their brawn.
Fun fact, when Zhongli is giving everyone a toast, his gesture is equivalent to a king lowering his head to servants, which was why Xiao looked like he wanted to intervene. When giving a toast in Chinese custom (especially when you have to get out of your seat and stand up to do it), it's always those with lower status giving it to those with higher status. Someone with higher status giving it to someone lower than them is a huge honour and It's not something anyone with lower status could or should accept. So Xiao literally can't accept Zhongli's gesture, then Venti went in as well and you now have two gods lower themselves before everyone. So Xiao ended up being put in a very awkward situation where he cannot accept the gods' gesture but can't deny it either. So MC getting Xiao out of there was actually saving him.

I was not emotionally ready for ping's story
Just came here to hear the EN dub after I've finished and loved the event in CN dub. Now I understand why some ppl find EN Paimon annoying 😂. In CN dub she's soft-spoken, cute, and her dialogues are endearing and humorous. Yet the EN translation and VO gives that aggressive tone that's made worse by her screeching voice.
Also I don't remember Xiao sounding angry in CN as in the EN, it was clear in CN that he was worried.
There were many other places that didn't capture the subtle humor or exact meaning. Though the overall story beats are conveyed I believe.

I think Paimon has PTSD after the samsara Archon quest. She became extremely restless, clingy, and defensive if the traveler is away from her for a certain amount of time

Soraya is the main npc for the Guizhong-related world quest. So now it's proven that Zhongli was "super close" to Guizhong, during the archon war, Guizhong was corrupted, Zhongli needed to "kill" her while the yakshas sealed away her residue.

Remember, the funeral Zhongli did in archon quest is for Guizhong, not for himself. I knew it when he ask for a perfume and the bell. The only time he asked Ping for the bell
