Is the NEW Genshin Impact Battle Pass Worth it in 4.0?

No. The answer is no. Please save your money, because I just don’t think it is worth $15 to get a bit more progression in Genshin Impact, when half of the new region will be swimming, and stats don’t matter. Save your resources and level up a few cool characters. Be patient gamers!

  1. I've bought the battle pass every time. Got R5 every weapon. But, I'm a casual player who doesn't build a lot of things and I'm overloaded with materials. 70+ million mora, 9999 XP crystals, etc. I don't see enough material to justify buying it more unless the weapons are godly. When I first starting out, the battle pass weapons got me through the game. Now I have multiple 5* weapons. I don't need any more materials. I don't want more XP books or crystals. Give me something else.

  2. Spear will be cracked on Cyno and Hutao too , ill R5 it for sure, at R5 its not far behind the R1 scarlet sands , while you need to gamble for scarlet sands and you get this thing just by doing battle pass, and as well as getting lots of other things

  3. The funny thing is the battle pass is one of the least predatory aspects of Genshin because its the only thing other than welkin that you are guarenteed to get what you are purchasing.

  4. Battle pass weapons are just critt rate balance weapons for the terrible artifact RNG

Black cliffs are the critt damage balancers

I've got almost 200 fragile resin now and I think 40mill mora 6k crystals for weapons and 3k purple books..

The games fallen off hard the puzzles are meh what they did is spread the puzzles out more and it's not fun

  5. Idk, when you add up everything I think it's more than worth it getting the battle pass. Firstly it's 10$ USD not 15$. You get 9 event wishes, 2 million mora, 200 heros wit, 33 books etc etc. That's a really good price, almost better than welkin

  6. My view is if you want to spend spend responsibly. If you can't afford to spend then don't. If you are going to stop playing the game and then regret you spent the money because you can't get it back then don't. But there is nothing wrong with spending if it brings you enjoyment when playing the game (ONLY AS LONG AS YOU CAN FINANCALLY AFFORD TO DO SO). Be responsible and think before you spend, but if you do that don't feel guilty for spending.

  7. My only issue with the new battle pass weapons is I wish they would’ve made them crit damage weapons, that way there was a crit rate or crit damage weapon for each weapon type in the battle pass

  8. honestly the only battle pass weapons that were ever really competitive with f2p or gacha 4 star options were serpent spine and maybe deathmatch.
even then, anyone who uses deathmatch could just run blackcliff polearm instead. serpent spine is absolutely insane though at high refinements and competes with 5 stars… as long you dont get hit.

  9. One thing that is overlooked is the $ per Primogem.
    1. Blessing of the Welkin Moon $4.99=3.000 Primogems.
    2. Gnostic Hymn $9.99=1,320 Primogems.
    3. Crystal Top-Up $99.99=12.960 Primogems.

If people are wanting to spend money above and beyond the Blessing of the Welkin, buying the battle pass and waiting offers far more account progression than the Crystal Top-Up.

  11. Ballad of the fjords would be a cracked option for cyno teams. Use a shielder like zhong then the rest ofthe team is cyno, a dendro, and a support with either electro or dendro

  12. I thought they will make crit damage substats for the new battle pass weapons but they just make another crit rate. Well at this point they just wanna sell you something visually appealing trash. Beware

  13. Man… what are u talking about? Literally… what is this? Some people can’t wish for weapons while they can buy the bop and have a decent one for their character… why are you assuming everyone buys primos like u did
Ps: why are u back? Chasing audience and going back on your word as usual uh? Classic you

  14. I agree with and understand the simplicity of "is this weapon worth $15-20," but I feel like it's flawed.
A player would get more wishes in the battle pass (when complete) for $20 than just spending $20 directly on primos (this is country-dependant maybe). Essentially all of the resources and weapon are nearly free.
In theory – the BP and welkin are the best 'deals' in the game if you're going to spend at all. In practice – they get you to play more regularly and engage with the wishing system, which in turn makes you more susceptible to spending.

  15. As someone who got all BP weapons just for fun, AND I know I will also get all the new ones, I got words of wisdom for you: DONT BE STUPID LIKE ME.

  16. Speaking of Xiangling and the Dragon's bane. Something to consider: I've never got the Dragon's bane before building both Xianling and Raiden Shogun – and I should use The Catch on the last one of course – so I was forced to get Deathmatch for Xiangling. If new spear in BP will be good on her I think it is worth going for it for new players
