Mavuika even if nothing elsez is still war mongering. Shes going out of her way to recruit all the best warriors from the tribes eventhough they dont want to be there necessarily and then just to spice it up, she also invites the captain. War in natlan is between individuals, not nations

Also a point in favor that she's the archon, or at the very least some kind of puppet/ was destined from birth to be the spokes person of the archon, is her design: she's heavily associated with the power of fire in the trailer, but doesn't have a visible vision to control said fire (this fire symbolism could just be an artistic choice since she's meant to represent the nation of fire), her hair from the back looks exactly like the pyro symbol, obviously her color pallet fits the theme of fire (except her outfit, to me seems kind out of place in Natlan, shouldn't she have like tribal armor or something? Her outfit reminds me of Bayonetta's, if the put Xianyun in that Nintendo could have sued them of copyright xD), she, like every other archon, has streaks of lighter colored hair that supposedly would glow when using her powers (this seems to be a design must for every archon).
On a side note she could just be the pyro dragon's human form, like Neuvillette, that is in a position of power under the archon's orders if she is in some way out of commission. But this would be too similar to the last region so perhaps is not very likely.

I think Mavuika is the Pyro Archon. What I think Maybe happened. Is the Pyro Archon we were expecting died sometime after the Khaenri’ah incident. And she was suppose to resurrect like a Phoenix. But something went wrong and Mavuika was needed to be the next Archon. To find out how to revive her. Hence, why we have the Natlan long chapter referencing resurrection. That’s how they can get Away with her being the Archon but also get her to step down. There is also a possibility Mavuika isn’t reviving their previous Archon. But the Pyro Dragon Sovereign of their nation.
OR the more likely scenario, it’s something else that’s so simple we just aren’t thinking of it. Probably due to us making theories based on the reference material, and taking things as literally what HoYoverse will do. And not taking into consideration the creative standpoint HoYoverse will take with it.
Either way It’s gonna be interesting. Cause there’s so much support for Mavuika being the Archon with the name play, the design, of her hair, the fact the name Murata is a reference to Himeko from Honkai impact 3rd and Mavuika and Himeko do share some similarities even if it’s very superficial. The thing with HoYoverse. They have made Honkai Impact 3rd references. But it’s very subtle that, unless you played the game, you wouldn’t notice. Like how Ei kind of looks like Raiden Mei. Or how the sustainer/unknown god looks like the Herscher of the Void. Particularly with the eyes. And Mavuika’s eyes are so unique that it only makes sense she’s the God. Cause not many non-Archon’s have unique eyes like that. The only non-Archons to have unique eyes that I can think of are— Hu Tao and recently Neuvilette. Because generally, every characters eyes usually follow the same formula. Some have a slight variation, but it’s more or less the same.
Just one point I think I need to touch on because I’ve seen it floating around . I know people have used her clothing to debunk She’s the Archon. The thing is though it’s so unique and different from the usual that it can also be used to support The fact she’s the Archon. With the books with the conversation, Venti had with Vanessa. There is some evidence to support Mavuika’s personality not matching with what we’ve been told. But that doesn’t automatically mean she’s like that. Look at the Shogun puppet, the puppet is cold and unfeeling. Unwavering in its conviction to preserve what Ei believed to be eternity. While Ei is that, but she’s a lot more to her personality. And we also have to consider Venti just may not have a good opinion of the pyro Archon. Similar to how Zhongli and Ei don’t seem to have a good opinion of Venti. With Zhongli calling Venti a drunker who’s a disgrace to the arts. And Ei saying from the first time She met him, She had a feeling that we weren’t going to get along.
Something to keep in mind, in most cases. We get the Archon around the 5.2 patch. Venti was in 1.0. Zhongli was litterally the patch after that in 1.1. Raiden was in patch 2.1, Nahida was in patch 3.2 and Furina was in 4.2 (even though she’s not the archon per day, she represent Focalar’s humanity and what she wanted to be. Before Egeria had for force Focalor to solve the issue with the prophecy). Moving on point is if Mavuika is released between 5.1 and 5.2. She’s more than likely the current Archon. I’m aware there was a rumour of some kinda speculation on who’s coming and Mavuika wasn’t mentioned for the earlier patches. But it doesn’t automatically mean she won’t be there considering 5.0 hasn’t even come out yet it’s still early to tell who’s coming when. But believe me once 5.0 drops I think will probably have a much more clearer idea on who’s coming when.

Natlan music was datamined not long ago and it's Sumeru tier. Most of the tracks I heard were more influenced by African cultures, with only one battle ost sounding Latin American. Hard to connect the setting with the chars we were shown but it still kicked ass.
