Leveling up 4 star characters doesn't really mean you're using them and cheating, it's really fine you're not using them. Plus, you get free pulls so it's fine 🙂
If 4-stars don't exist, then those wishes don't either, right? Don't waste your mora and materials on STANDARD wishes when you'll more than likely be going after LIMITED characters moreso, correct? I've never understood why people do that. I've never done that on any of my challenge accounts and you get standard wishes in other ways besides.

Speaking of childe, when you were talking about not being used to having to watch the cutscene, I realized just how new I was…none of my characters use Childe's drops so I never actually had to fight him after the story :0

you dont use 4 stars you abuse them for there wishes =) (in a respectiv way)
As long as you don't use them in actual gameplay, ex. exploring and fighting
