  1. Since you've already reacted to Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, you should also react to Honkai Impact 3rd which is another game by Hoyoverse. DO NOT REACT TO THE ANIMATED SHORTS.

  2. Venti actually helped alot during the archon quest. And venti prefers to be the 'absentee god' bc of mondsadt's past of being under tyrants; he doesn't want to rule over mondstadt and rathers the people take care of themselves. He does involve himself when it seems mondstadt isn't able to handle the problem themselves though.

Zhongli has been the archon of liyue for 3,700 years when it was first established, as well as past civilisations for even longer such as the past guili assembly and people of mount tianheng. And he has been doing a lot of work behind the scenes when he was archon. After he retired ie faked his death, the workload of the Qixing increased multiple-fold. You suprisingly got the reason why Zhongli is bad with money rn, unlike most of the fandom.

Loved the video though, your commentary is so entertaining and i couldn't stop laughing at moments. If you are interested, you should def look more into the lore of genshin. The world building goes sooo far, and the archon quests are just the tip of the iceberg (as a lot of ppl here has already said).

  3. I love how genshin lore is so deep, but in your play through, much of it is irrelevant. Even just major events of the main timeline aren’t covered till later on or just randomly mentioned. The story is often clearly set, with lots of extras to find out. There are lots of undiscovered characters and links that you could get confused over one another.

Meanwhile honkai goes crazy with lore that keeps getting brought up and you need to understand a lot of it to have a fun time understanding the deeper characters and lore connections, even the main quest might feel confusing if you don’t read into the extra info or dialogue. It’s not so much like a long history, but just lots of people with stories and concepts mashed into a certain period, each contributing to understanding something, and going far into the past, especially for star rail history, hasn’t really been a concern for me.

  4. 8:47 Tell that's to lore players, we will riot jk πŸ˜‚ He is lore players favorite source & subject of theory (due to his Celestial Origin). Ask Minsleif what she think of Venti & she will say he is sus.

    Tldr; He is a liar.

So Venti original plan is to cure Dvalin secretly in the Whispering Woods BUT the traveler & Paimon pass by then interrupt the whole process. Venti got poisoned instead & traveler helping him to cure Dvalin due to his/her debt from earlier. (Source: Mondstadt Archon Quest)

  5. youre probably one of the best reactors regarding genshinstuff that ive seen? i feel a lot of reactors seem to have issues keeping up with some of the details (i started getting lost myself ay the summary around late sumeru-fontaine) but you do a good job of processing all the info

that aside, id certainly like reactions in regards to: "that damn alchemist" gold from the earlier half of the video, our friend who created evil dragons, and also presumably unicorns(??) and human homunculi. We learn a bit about this outside the main story but its relegated to time gated event quests and world quests.

Also any lore in regards to Scaramouche/Wanderer but thats because hes my favourite character. His backstory is personally quite interesting to me– as is the backstory of all the fatui harbingers, actually. Tartaglia, Il Dottore, Signora, etc.

  6. The Inazuma segment only covers the events of the Archon QUest itself. In reality Inzazuma's story is far more complex. The Vision Hunt decree wasn't as oppressive as described, going by documents and side quests, most of Inazuma's Vision holders delivered their visions peacefully and willingly, all because of the huge trust everyone has on Shogun, however once some(and not everyone) vision holders started showing negative effects from losing their vision, some decided to resist the decree.
THat said this decree didn't affect Inazuma itself in the slightest, as far as normal citizens are concerned, it's a non-issue.

The sakoku decree however is wreaking havok in Inazuma's economy and the livelyhood of it's citizens, and unlike the Vision Hunt decree, this one has nothing to do with Raiden Shogun.
Inazuma has a constitutional monarchy similar to that of the british, the ones who govern the country directly are the three commissioners, from the three main families in Inazuma. The vast majority of the problems we face in Inazuma come from the corruption of two of the three commissioners who welcomed the Fatui into the country and are literally doing their bidding. The fatui has been sabotaging the country from within with help from those commissions. And the damage these two commissions have done to the country, to the land itself is far, far worse than Vision Hunt decree has ever done. More importantly, the Electro Archon herself lives inside her Raiden Shogun puppet, and she can only see that which Shogun itself sees, and Shogun has no interest in anything not related to the Archon's plan of Eternity, so through forgery the Tri-commission has managed to completely fool the Shogun into thinking that the country wasn't having any civil war or economic issues. THe archon only knew that the Fatui were there and had preferrential treatment when it comes to business, and that the Fatui proposed the plan of collecting visions, the purpose would alledgedly to remove any factors that could interfere with the implementation of Eternity. Which is why Shogun accepted the plan.

I could elaborate more, but more than this and it'll be a huge spoiler. Although it's already a spoiler in itself, however the vast majority of players never read the lore, so they don't even know the details I just wrote here

  7. Actually, Venti could be far more powerful than it seems to be. He hides pretty much everything he knows from the traveler. It is speculated that he knew his gnosis will be stolen and he kinda "gave it" to Signora. He is such and interesting character that is overlooked very often.

  9. One info that has changed is where Visions came from. Apparently Archons has a say on who gets what vision apparently, according to Neuvillette. He himself can bestow a vision despite not being on Celestia's side or an Archon, and he has already given only 1 known vision as of date.

This actually coincides with Ei's testimony. I know Ei said she didn't have a hand on any vision granting, or know that Electro visions stopped appearing during her isolation decree, but it's kinda funny that Electro visions stopped appearing RIGHT WHEN SHE ISOLATED HER NATION. We really don't know the reason why, but what we do know is that Ei's decision caused Electro Visions to stop appearing. So Archons basically have a part in the Vision granting, whether they intended/know or not.
