  4. It's borderline illegal to say Genshin sucks and I really have no notion as to why. I suspect it might be that people forgive it's truly putrid storytelling bc they've been bombarded by 'lore', and frankly if you go on whimsically about something with some semblant sense here and there you're probably going to think it's redeemable or has depth – also the robust archives of immaculate illustrations of every character paints a picture of a vibrant and threat-filled world. If you just knew Kokomi for instance from the art you'd think she's this god of the ocean, and is thus implicated or employed as such in the story, when she has about 4 voicelines total and says near nothing of great intrigue. Another problem is that the perpetual additions can't iron out already present and baked in flaws and dry spots, and most people playing this game likely aren't especially privy to some of the best JRPG storylines of yesteryear. Of course it's not just the story, it's the slow drip release of new yet underwhelming characters, the charitability and mundanity of various events, the profound lack of any endgame beyond four resetting abyss floors and the artefact system that Hoyoverse have refused to update. I personally don't take offense to the Gacha as much, and I think the combat is actually really, really fun, especially when you realize you can buy an account as a starter and have some 20+ units to experiment with. But i suppose we are to blame for caring so much and hanging on, I still do play the game but haven't done any story past Inazuma (and that was an utter slog), I no longer do dailies and only spend resin and collect welkin to hopefully get to use another character every few months.

Let’s be honest though no matter how good a game may be you will eventually find yourself getting bored of the game which eventually leads you to quit playing the game entirely but there also those who don’t find the game fun at that moment and are feeling burnout from the game which results in people playing other games eventually and usually when people are feeling burnout they will usually return to the game eventually returning to the game when they feel like it but sometimes it can also lead to players quitting the game entirely and this goes for all games people play

    In other words no matter how good or bad a game may be players will eventually find the game boring and will either stop playing the game indefinitely due to burnout OR will quit the game forever because they don’t find the game enjoyable anymore

It's not the lack of content, the lack of combat and action, the endless unnecessary dialogue with NPCs no one care about, the endless trash kits they release every filler patch… I quit simply because Hoyo don't care about us. After playing for two years, the only content i have is an underwhelming spiral abyss that Litteraly resets once every two weeks and can be done in like 20 minutes… I've been waiting for Cyno since i've started back in liuye… Only to receive an underwhelming character with a trash kit. I like Cyno so much it Litteraly hurt me how they did him like that… I hear they also released Dehya and Baizhu with an even trashier kit 😢 It's Litteraly not fair how they are treating us. All the billions and billions of dollars they are making are because of us. Forget all the problems i mentioned, the anniversary rewards, and the content ect… At least, make important key characters playable!

  18. Thanks for last 2-3 years journey with us, with genshin. I’m also in the edge to quit cux I only play for events and dailies without using Resin. You can even say that it all started from Dehya lol. Every journey has an end.

  23. i used to be an avid fan of this game, spends more than 1k over more than a year but muheye just wasted this game's potential, you want to come back for the story but they will bombard you with a wall of unnecessary text that you could summarize in just a few words 😑

  25. HSR is going to find itself in the same situation a year from now. The game has the same reward and progression systems as Genshin, meaning there will be no endgame. Gameplay loop is the same except exploration is much more underwhelming. I'm playing for the initial hype, early min-maxing and character collection, but I'm well aware there's no point on getting invested nor playing and planning for the long term unless you just enjoy doing it casually and repeating the same unrewarding content every single day.

  26. I never watched TenTen, and I've played Genshin since launch, but this video is making me consider quitting more. Also because my Welkin expired yesterday…

    I should move on to a new hobby or come back when Fontaine drops.

Only way to will enjoy genshin is to skip a hold lot of patch like i talking about 1.0 patch to all the way to 2.0 that what i did with genshin back in the old day i thinking about skip 4.0 and waiting to the game get to 5.0 so this way u gave load of thing to do that what got ke back to genshin after skip the 1st year of it and why i back to now but later i feel like take a break again after my 30 day pass go away

I found you through your Lost Ark guides but I managed to deal with my genshin fomo through you (genshin was too big of a time committment so i watched your vids to deal with the fomo).   40. Genshin’s focus is not on combat, it is on aesthetics, lore and music. It is a gacha game after all. I wouldn’t pull if he/she is not aesthetically pleasing. To me, spiral abyss is a waste of time if not for the primogems. I’ve played World of Warcraft, Starcraft and Zelda BOTW. WoW’s raid runs need 1h preparation for 20 people. BOTW is so slow-moving that it took me 1 month to complete the starting region. I appreciate the effort put in by the Genshin team in art design, story-telling and music. If you are a player who goes after combat, go and play pvp.

  41. I’m definitely going the same direction at some point. There’s still two things I want to see first, then I might leave forever or just return much later. I’m finally AR 60 months ago maybe and I’ve seen so many things, made some friends and the story has become dull to me a bit but there’s some things I find really interesting. I will likely say it’s time to quit once I’ve seen the two things

  44. Completely understandable to see you go away form Genshin (like other ccs are doing lately). Its very sad to see how much potential the game had but the company decided toy just don't care about a part of the playerbase. Also I hope you enjoy Nier replicant, great game! I recomend Drakengard 3 as well if you like it! (Its precuel)
