Hello, and welcome back to my office! Here you can find the latest Genshin news, leaks, and everything in between. OO There’s been a huge news bomb recently, and I’m here to discuss the latest on 4.6 and Emilie. OO Be sure to like and subscribe to stay on top of all the latest in Genshin news. If you’re unaware, Emilie is a Fontainian perfumer mentioned in many character’s voicelines, as well as the 4.3 Roses and Musket’s event story. As far as we knew, she was the 5* to come out in 4.8, the last patch of Version 4. The other night, some new information via Uncle K indicated that a new Dendro-related artifact set coming out in 4.6 was likely for her. This essentially confirms her as a Dendro unit, which was already suspected due to how much of an emphasis characters put on her having obsessions with flowers. Perhaps she’ll be a new 5* Dendro Catalyst acting as a Dendro Burst DPS, or perhaps a Burning DPS? We’ll have to see when the news on the new artifact set come out during the 4.6 beta. Speaking of 4.6, Emilie wasn’t the only news we got. According to Uncle K, the 4.6 new region will be located in the hole between Sumeru, Liyue, and Fontaine. He specified only part of it will be unlocked due to the rest being part of Khaenri’ah, but this might be where Remuria and Bayda Harbor finally get added! Most of the hole is a region of elevated water, similar to Fontaine, so I wonder if we’ll have to dive down to Remuria in the bottomless Celestial lake? In other 4.6 news, the two new artifact sets I mentioned are an Arlecchino set and a Dendro set, so probably Overload and whatever Emilie’s niche is. Depending on who gets rerun Arlecchino’s set may have other uses on characters like Lyney. Speaking of Lyney, there are rumors going around that he will rerun alongside Arlecchino in 4.6, with the other phase having Furina and some unknown character. It’s also likely that Liyue or Sumeru will be on the new Regional banner they’re adding in 4.5. Version 4.6 is also due for Furina’s second story quest, but as you probably heard Cyno should be getting his second story quest too. Uncle K said in the same post that he didn’t have anything on Furina’s story quest, so there’s a chance we may not get it until 4.7. Cyno’s story quest seems more likely if Bayda Harbor really does get added alongside Remuria, being a new desert-ish location for it to take place.
