  1. I rather see them have additional cyclical modes that's accessible for every players to farm primogems, all while instead of forcing PvP, it's providing somekind of Cooperation between players or interactivity, I can pitch them ideas but I don't think they'll add modes akin to Elysian Realm in Honkai Impact until two years or even three from now lol

There's another idea I can pitch with focusing more onn bolstering their sales by selling in-game thematic outfits and cosmetic effects too just like how it's sibling Honkai Impact to Arknights does so they can dodge p2w nonsense happened with worse competitors out there, but oh well lol :DDD

  2. Cookie Run Kingdom is SOOOOOOO generous!!! They practically throw gems at you so you'll do a 10 pull. They also have an event now where a legendary cookie has her own gacha you can pull by doing dailies.

  3. Today i finally have free time to play Genshin. Oh god. I cant imagine how struggling iam to find anything to do, because we dont have anything to do. We dont even have event because time gated or repeatable content like Honkai, Elysia Realm. When you're out resin, thats it. I cant even farm mora. Just walking around and smash some rocks. THATS Content. Mihoyo(Genshin) doesn't need to be generous, because their players is already generous enough to pay their bills even with the lack of content they have. Welp.

  4. I think I’m so doom-pilled that not even competition will make fuck-hoyo fix any of the shit Genshin has, because they know that all the shill-white knight-dicksucking-bootlickers will have their backs til the end of time. I curse those that run mhy to step on legos everyday.

  5. Only gacha game I really played before Genshin was Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links and that game is pretty greedy and they nerf things and it's pvp yet they are still way more generous than Genshin giving the equivalent of a free 5* multiple times a year and it's way easier to play and get things as a F2P player.

  6. I recently bought dragon ball heroes on discount, and man, the game is awesome because it has no energy. You get gacha rolls just from playing the game. I got almost all characters i want and im just at chapter 3 of the story. Still, i dont know how the competitive is. But despite genshin flaws, i love how there is only 2 rarities on characters, so no character is trash unless you want to do abyss. But the gameplay time is so litttle 🙁 im conecting only to do the weekly reset and the events lately bacause i feel the game spits in my face when they give me 1/3 of a summon and 4 boss runs (or 8 domain runs) per day

  8. I get where you are coming from about not having anything you want to do left in the game. (Notice I said that you want to do.) I think Mihoyo is aware of this "end game burnout" and will address it. But how soon is the only question. Labyrinth Warriors was their gauge on a potential end game content. I expect to see it again at some point, it got good feedback. So will they add more end game stuff after they add Dendro? We will need to wait and see, but I am expecting it to be quality content.

In the mean time we can go "touch some grass" and play other things while we wait.

  9. People who compare Genshin with other Gacha games has to realise Genshin is not like other Gacha games. I haven't seen any other gacha game with the graphics quality and the open world nature that Genshin offers. It's because of Genshin's open world aspect that makes having nothing to do hurts more.

  10. I currently only play two gatchas (was one before genshin) Sword art online Unleash blading (man I miss the old name) and genshin. And SAO is definitely more generous with hand outs of gems and how much you can play but there’s a lot more banners and most banners don’t have a guaranteed. But I let it auto events and go for characters I want it’s never been a main game just a small hobby I suppose

  11. I've played gacha for 8 years. RoB was my 1st. They introduced rarity creep TWICE: Legend & X-Legend rarity. SSRs died. You needed exact copies for ascension to max level characters & it was event leaderboard PvP or clan PvP. F2P Raids was: hope whales to kill the boss & get "participation" for requesting help. 1-2 Whales would do like 95% of the damage while the remaining 5% was F2P people 1 hit tapping it for participation event currency. Whales wanted the MVP & last hit rewards. F2P would hope to snipe the last hit kill on raid bosses to steal the whale's last strike event currency. Cygames did so much shitty & shady stuff that JP made gacha laws & regulations. The game died & they reused all of the art & characters in Granblue Fantasy & Shadowverse.

FGO was F2P friendly in 2015 cause you could ascend character to max level without dupes & no PvP by comparison. I've played GBF, Seven Knights, King's Raid amongst many others. All of these are way too grindy. Seven Knight in 2016 was the first game I've played that introduced the monthly pass. Then I started to see monthly passes as standard by 2017. Most gachas are stingy until years into the game except at launch; FGO gave more currency starting Year 2.5 & took 5 years to give a free standard banner SSR. Although for some reason, that trend has been changing since 2020 with the newer games. CN games are required to have soft pity & hard pity by CN laws. A lot of JP games still don't have pity or have the 300 pity & resets to 0. Competition is affecting JP. Konosuba pity is lower than average at 250 & Slime is at 200 due to Chinese gacha pity being really low. Princess Connect dropped their pity from 300 to 200, only in JP server.

All asian games care only about their home country. FGO NA had a 24 hour emergency patch. EN players complain about our lost login bonus. JP don't care (context: they manage the NA server data & maintenance). 1 month later, JP server had the same issue. They fixed it and gave everyone credit for login. Look at how they give no shits about us & all the shits for the JP side. Took 2-3 years for them to treat global FGO players better. I'm not surprised by anything that happens in Genshin or any other gacha. Even King's Raid cares more about the JP side. JP spend the most, so they're releasing their new gacha in JP 1st even though they're not a JP company.

    My current game lineup is:
Main games: FGO, Honkai, PGR & Genshin. Side (auto) games: SMS, SIM, Azur Lane, Konosuba FD, Blue Archive, Cafe Gun Girl & BSN.

  12. One thing I'm doing with Genshin that I haven't done with any other games(not just gatcha games) is that I'm spending a lot of times on videos and watching them. With other games, I just played it how I wanted and didn't look up videos on "You need this weapon for this character" or "You need this character to make your team stronger." However, I'm doing that for Genshin. Maybe I should play Genshin the way I used to play other games and not pay attention to videos. (Your videos being the exception of course because you're so chill and relaxed)

  13. I play another gacha called Grand Chase, i've been playing this one for about 2 or 3 years and it is a really nice game. They add new content and new challenges quite often and they're decently generous in terms of rewards. They also found a good system (which is similar to a lot of gacha) to keep slowly increasing the power of the units (Awakening > transcendance > chaser > soul imprint) and i think genshin could probably try to use smth similar. The power keeps increasing but they also keep adding more and more difficult content so they keep the player entertained and the game never feel too easy, too hard or empty and you always have smth to look forward to other than just a new unit. The game is very f2p friendly and you can almost get everything for free and be ready for new stuff everytime as a f2p.

    Also the designs are sick!

  14. I played around with some gachas and played like 3 or 4 consistently(,my other main gacha is Bleach Brave Souls cuz I'm anime fan) and my problem with GI is that they pretty much everything. I rarely remember gacha having cap on buying stamina refills. When ppl say " all gachas are 15 min" I feel like they mean it a sense that gacha usually time gates their highest power level grind. But in Genshin, since everything we do(weapon, lvl, talents) contribute to endgame(Abyss), MHY puts a lock on it.
At this point MHYs behavior ,imho,is product of multiple factors such as 1)having a monopoly in it's niche 2) having a similar road map to Honkai they won't deviate since it's worked normally first time and it would work even better cuz look up 1) 3) having a "everything not spent is a profit" business model, which we kinda seen on the anniversary. They gave us a preexisting pack they planned to sell as a damage control lol.

  15. As a busy person, Im totally fine with the time gated events in genshin. Usually what I do everyday is wake up, quickly log in to genshin and condense my resin, go to work, then finish all the daily commissions and event before bed. But I have to agree this will hurt streamers because of lack of content.
One thing I also like about genshin is they have a guarantee rate up system. Of all the gacha games I play, every limited banner functions similar to genshin’s weapon banner, so it’s always 50/50 or less to get a limited unit. The only way to guarantee a unit is by spark, but i dont think most f2p could access that, as they requires a lot of pulls to reach.
The only thing I DESPITE of genshin is their artifact rolling system.

  16. Only other gachas I play are Honkai and PGR. PGR is hella generous with their energy not so much with their summoning currency tho. I put it on the back burner cuz it's kinda hard keeping up with 3 games that have stuff to do daily. ²

  17. Genshin puts out quality in most aspects, which is why I didn't care much for the gacha mechanics and pulls. However, the storytelling aspect was just average (not talking about the worldbuilding, but the narrative, i.e. what we actually get to experience in stories), and in 2.1 it went down the gutter. Like, it was trash, and Raiden's and Kokomi's characterizations were dragged down to the same level, which prompeted me to quit. I came back for the Albedo event (since Albedo, Amber, and Eula are all among my favorites), which left me lukewarm despite my personal bias in favor of its content. So, yeah, Genshin's music and design are top quality indeed, but the story? It's as bad as what you see in other gachas.

  18. If theres ever a gacha id suggest for the way it treats you it'd be Epic Seven 7 for sure. The way that game treats its players compared to Genshin is so night and day. Multiple selective summon opportunities, free 5 stars and 5 star selectors, good collabs with Re: Zero and Guilty Gear, and the fact that they actually listen to their playerbase. Mihoyo couldnt even toss us a bone on anniversary until the entire community outraged.

Ive been playing Genshin since day 1 and it blows my mind they still refuse to give people an endgame but want you to whale for cons for 5 stars and weapons and theres no place to actually use any of that stuff. Ive spent so much money on genshin so its sad to see that all the game will probably ever be is events, abyss, and new islands to explore every couple patches. At least E7 feels like theres a pay off for getting your chars top of the line gear.
