With Alhaitham on the party now, we can build a juice hyperbloom team and take on the Spiral Abyss… right?
Wrong.
The plan was speedrun Lantern Wrong (Rite) for C2 Xingqiu, then absolutely curb-stomp the Spiral Abyss. Though I think we were the one getting curb-stomped.
Swords Only in Genshin Impact can be quite challenging at times. However, as the self-proclaimed master of “Weapon” Only challenges in this game, I am able to best any obstacle (probably).
HoYoVerse put out a tweet saying “Polearm Impact”… So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

I can say it's venti-yanfei-lisa-barbara, but god dammit abyss wants dendro everywhere so I end up swapping Lisa with Tighnari and suffering. So uh, I guess I gotta update it lol? God help me 😭

My problem is the fact that abyss keeps getting harder
I am mostly f2p (3-4 welkins) and I have been able to complete it for about half a year now, and now this one (01.02.2023.) seems like a huge difficulty increase
your account is improving but you will need so much more to complete 12-3 for max stars
another thing is the fact that even though sword has a lot of characters, outside Layla there are no shielders, which just makes it insanely difficult, you have to find a way around it

Characters that do dendro related reactions should be prioritized to 90/90. I recommend getting kuki and alhaitham to 90, and get kuki to 800-900 em with triple em piece.

Layla is probably better in a freeze team than Bennett, because the enemies are frozen anyway. Ayato probably needs a lot of Er% for his burst and with Kazuha it should be enough hydro to keep the enemies frozen.
Oh and Layla has a shield, so no damage taken, unless corrosion.

Use Layla with 4pc Tenacity of the Millelith set, and she'll give you a constant 20% attack bonus.

I just watched a tutorial how to clear abyss 36 stars, and they recommended to focus on the 12th floor chamber 3 first. Prepare the best team fro it, and all other chambers don't really matter, we just need to go through them and prepare bursts for the third one. After we clear 3 start 3 chamber, we can restart and focus on the second chamber (after clearing it we even don't need to do 3rd chamber anymore, as we already have 3 stars there)
Reasons why you should put Layla instead of Bennet in Ayaka Freeze Team.
1. 4pc Noblesse Bennett's atk buff is almost the same as 4pc Tenacity Layla because she can activate both the shield buff and the extra atk buff.
2. Layla can give more energy to your ayaka and you can give her Fav that will also help Ayato and Kazuha's energy regeneration. (Bennett can also use fav but with Fav's low Base Atk, Layla with 4pc Tenacity will actually be better than Bennett.)
3. Layla can apply off-field cryo so enemies can be kept frozen when Ayato is Onfield.
4. Bennett removes cryo application and will only heal for up to 70%.
5. Layla with triple HP actually has a strong shield. Her shield also has 100% uptime.
6. 4pc Noblesse Bennett needs ER (60 energy cost) to heal and buff while 4pc Tenacity Layla isn't as energy hungry (you don't need to burst every rotation. 40 energy cost)
7. With Layla you get Cryo Resonance which gives you 15% Crit Rate for basically everyone.
Note: When you use Kazuha E, don't E again because the plunge shatters enemies and removes the frozen aura. Just hold E and let him fall.

You can use nilou as a support instead of xinqiu, yk her em is based on her hp so shes basically op in hyperbloom teams

I have anemo damage goblet on my Kazuha. He’s doing 10k straight anemo damage + 5k swirl damage every Elemental skill tap.
That’s 15k damage on average with his skill. His burst does about a total of 80k damage, both anemo and elemental.
