Some primogems are nice especially if you are saving, but it's not worth all the time and effort and sanity it takes you to fully clear them. ESPECIALLY if you're not even having fun doing it.
I’m NOT f2p, but I try to spend as less money as possible, so I do spiral abyss
as a free to play… Spiral abyss is always a chore… but not doing spiral abyss is foolish.. thats free 600 primogems if you complete floors 9 to 12 .
why would you skip a free 600 primo gem fund every 15 days??? you can just finish it and be done with it.
I always do floors 9 and 10, floor 11 if I'm feeling in a good mood to try it.
I do floor 12 if I'm desperate for primos or for weapon exp.
I disagree with Doro here cause at some point you're characters can challenge the abyss easily and by then it's hust free primogems for fighting bunch of mobs you can stop on what ever your characters you can do. If you get all 1star then extra 50 primos
I do floor 9 to 10 to get 300 primos, I tried floor 11 but….. let's just say I'll stick to the usual

but its when your adventure handbook cares more about the spiral abyss more than your sanity
Well if you can 36s it, you can get 1200 in a max which is close to a one 10 pull so it's worth it for me
You don't really need to completely build a full team if you don't do Abyss too
Abyss is not worth it, they literally cut the reward from 100/3* to 50/3*😒
I do floor 9 and than stop floor 9 is easy for just the 150 primos
New players today doesn't know the horror of abyss when we were low ar cause u can pretty much get to floor 12 as a low ar player with the release of sumeru reactions💀
Hoyoverse should at least give us 60 primos for completing 3 stars, what would give us 180 primos.each floor. So It would be less frustating and more rewarding.
I only did up to floor 6.
Once I did that I stopped. Ain’t NO WAY I AM SURVIVING FLOOR 7!
I believe the spiral abyss is best way to earn primogems by far. Even if you are an f2p you can 3 star floor 10 and 11 easily, that is 300 PRIMO GEMS for barely 15 minutes play time.
Meanwhile me who doesn't even have enough invested characters to form 2 teams.
Heizou, mona, xingling, kuki and Yao yao. The rest of my f2p characters are all benched for good reason.
I see the abyss, especially as an f2p or mostly f2p, the same way i see nuzlocking games, or playing dark souls, its fun if you enjoy a challenge, but if not its not worth it or enjoyable
U really can't feel like an f2p unless ur one of them
I'm f2p and bro believe me getting those 550 primos i get (cuz I can't do 9 stars on floor 12) are so worth it and i enjoy doing the 3 to 4 pulls after really make my day ❤
Spiral abyss is to challenge yourself. Tbh some of the best feeling I’ve had in this game is finally reach the bottom of the abyss and and getting 36 stars for the first time. But I understand it’s not for anyone. Anyone can do it though it just take time and grind to get at least ok artifacts
I only go as far as the end of 11 – and sometimes don't finish 11 – because I don't hate myself.

This guy just made me realise Genshin is still very much a game and not out to haunt me with slow loading speed every day on my dailies lol
But I honestly don't like the summer vacation quests that drop. I mean, I like them, but can't be bothered to do them. I'm only doing it this year because I actually like the quests and need dadd- I mean Kaeya's skin
I am f2p my highest floor is 10-3 so i stop there every time I don’t have a point to do floor 11-12

Genshin is a game, if abyss is not fun don't do it, it's not a chore, dude spat facts we all didn't know but we needed

Agreed. Abyss is def not fun for me. Especially cuz I'm lazy to grind artifacts, so most of my team member's biggest damage are just around 10k. I would play some stages if I lack, like, one or two primogem for the 10x gacha roll. But yea. I won't be doing it until then 😅

I enjoy clearing it although my trash account can't 12 star.
I can do 9 and 10 with all stars, 11 with maybe 4-5 stars, but I don't stress over it.
Are my teams optimized? Probably not.
Am I having fun? Yes.
That's all that matters.

I try pushing floor 12 now and then to see if I made some progress.. to the current date, I still struggle doing 9 stars on floor 11.. 🪨
A normal event gives like 420 primos and abyss 9 and 10 are easy and give 300, if you are f2p why not getting free things 😅 so yes it's worth it
spiral abyss is worth it, just not worth tryharding to get full stars everywhere – do what you can and just take the freemos that you get, even if its just floor 9
I'd say, do it at least until you get the free characters then you don't have to do it again.
I'm only doing 9-11, I don't even care if they're not "all clear" and get all the stars. I just do it for some extra primos, and I don't do well even If I can, who cares?
A interesting bug in genshin is go to a hillichurl camp and from far enough away hit the Woden shield of a hillichurrl with ambers fully charged attack it’s very funny
To me spiral abyss is good even though I did not full star floor 12, doing it just for fun
