Genshin's Biggest Trial is Ahead | Genshin Impact

#Genshin #GenshinImpact #2.7Delay

Sup my dudes, Valkyrja here, and today I will be talking about how Genshin’s biggest trial is ahead in genshin impact. With what I predict will be a 5 week downtime due to natural cycles, I talk about burnout and taking care of yourself.

  1. Well regardless I still got a redhorn to work towards so that’s enough motivation right there lol In all seriousness, I hope the devs and just everyone in Shanghai all the est as they get through this, and we on the other side of the world just gotta be patient. But I do also hope that the dev team see how they can improve on the this game content wise once they return back to their work, especially with the new competition on their tails that can outdo them in this aspect.

  2. Oh, don't worry. Once I'm done with my "chores" (i.e. Commissions, Resin, Reputation, Spiral Abyss, etc.), I can always release my workplace rage by MASS-MURDERING NOBUSHI AND COLLECTING THEIR HANDGUARDS AS TROPHIES.

  4. I'm ahead of the curve. I stopped logging a week ago. This new break is probably going to last until at least Sumeru for me. Quite possibly could actually be the beginning of the end. This has nothing to do with the lock down and more of just me burning out from the last year. Sumeru is probably going to be the last shot to get me to come back bc I've been only playing due to fomo and finally stopped giving a shit. I had the same issue with Epic Seven years ago. At the end of the day game probably just isn't for me. Sumeru is going to have to add something other than exploration and characters for me to start playing everyday again. Weirdly I still like watching genshin yt videos here and there tho.

  5. From what Ive been seeing in comments sections, Reddit threads, and my low sample size of genshin friends list that consists of around 30 people, the general consensus appears to be:

….Good? Comments are mostly "I can catch up on enkanomiya / chasm", I have more time to farm primos, etc.

Honestly, Valk, I think the only people experiencing burnout in this game is the content creator sphere of genshin, because you guys need to cook up something out of nothing to keep making videos. Generally speaking, I believe content creators and whales make up the bulk of the people who complain about burnout. Us f2p or low spenders are quite thrilled about the downtime.

  6. They have been comfortable for so long, making full of bad decisions, building up a retard player base that accept any abuse they push on, they have not better their game, they have not stepped up their game, and they have not done any "work" even though their profit is off the roof. No quality of life changes, no additional reward added, no content added. And now with the delay of 2.7 and all that outside force affecting, and they still not step up their game ? they will probably be done. Remember, players have more options to play, genshin is not the only game in the world, even in their own type of gameplay we are now have another game similar to that and in future maybe more. I quit the game for 3 months already but still looking for news related to the game to see if it's better to even make me come back, so far, it's not

  7. Let me start by saying the obvious – health and well being of Mihoyo employees takes priority and personally I do not have any problem with next patch being delayed.
However I believe this situation is yet another argument in discussion regarding Genshin event based content and lack of endgame. I mean if Mihoyo would add more stuff to do on a daily basis in earlier patches, then now nobody would have to be worried about being bored with the game in delayed patch period. Events that MIhoyo release in a game should be ADDITION to the content that game offers, not the content itself.

  8. That 3 weeks to me for having Yelan banner delayed means more time saving up wishes for a new character that matters. I am still not sure if I will even wish for Yelan as I am unsure if she at c0 can beat Xingqiu at c6 but I will wait and see. If they drop Kazuha rerun as a filler banner there goes my current work on saving lol. Should also give me more time to farm artifacts for Ayaka before I change which character I am working on. I wonder if they will do a filler rerun banner in the meantime. Aside from spending my resin and doing my daily stuff and quests I have been playing creeper world 4 for a change of pace. I hope the people in China get over this really bad wave soon as it sucks to be in that situation.

  9. I wish they just remove resin. Honestly. Or make the previous co-op events permanent (maybe not theater mechanicus (spelling??) cuz it's a pain) and gift primos depending on how you place… but they won't do that cuz there won't be any money.

  10. Just do dailies, spend resin and log off? That's already what I do everyday before even this delay lol. My gameplay time rarely reached more than 15 minutes each day.

I do hope the lowest will become really low. Maybe this will give them that kick to actually implement endgame so that this situation won't become such a huge problem if it ever happen again.

  11. This gives me more time to explore and build primos on my accounts, but it also means I can play my other games since with my short attention span I tend to only focus on genshin due to the spacing between the updates. Only issue I find is that I can't build bp (unless they extend it) but that's not all that important

  13. look at the bright side, you can get more primos. You can finally clear out the entire world of boring content. you can— also FINALLY PLAY ALL THOSE GAMES YOU IMPULSE-BROUGHT ON STEAM SALE AND NEVER PLAYED.

not to mention i have like 10++ global quests, archon, the entre Genshin dating sims to tackle , CONTENT !!!

or idunno, play Honkai Impact? They have more game modes and depressing stories

  14. Honestly I'm kind of glad that I've been so distracted with Elden Ring that I have barely touched the chasm and have only been doing my dailies and the events. Which even the events I've been putting off until last minute now 🤣 Gives me something to do when I finish up playing Elden Ring.

  15. Dry as the desert, dust settle on our face.
Only commissions to do, for all the hilichurl we kill.
We use our resin, and vanish without a trace.
The grass is calling, to all Genshin Impact players to touch.
Here we are, filled with primogems and materials.
Waiting to use them for the next character in the NEW UPDATE!
On our own, playing other games, until the desert is blown AWAY!

Don't mind me Valk, just thought up a few lyrics because of your thumbnail.
Maybe its not good for the game's popularity because of the delays, but for me, I've been busy to even pay attention to the game events. So a break from genshin is very good for me.

  16. It's a very sad situation in Shanghai, and I'm not at all happy that they're going through another wave of pandemic-related lockdowns. BUT I was begging for a pause in the events/banners because as a veteran player I am BURNT-OUT (yeah, it's no one's fault but mine). Thank God for this much-needed break, and I hope that the devs and other employees at MHY can also get some rest and keep their health up.

  17. lowkey wouldve been nice if they made it for the next 5 weeks u dont need resin to farm artifact domains giving people the opportunity to get better artifacts that would not require them to do more than comment out some code and a ton of players would a appreciate it

  18. Ive burned out 3 times since launch. Never managed to work on my pacing for this game, so hopefully this drought doesn’t finally do me into scrapping my acc

  19. I'm already burn out actually. I even hate to farm artifacts now because there's no point at all. Only solution is to get new character and genshin is that kind of game right now. It's content is building character or saving primos for your new favorite one. Once you have none of these, you will feel burnout. As f2p, you can't get new characters every patch. And even some characters didn't make up expectation. And not to mention artifact farming become the worst experience while that's the only thing you can do as end game player. I don't care about resin anymore.

  20. I literally breezed through R6 Extraction in two weeks. That small break from Genshin was slightly necessary, but at the same time I was disappointed in the Chasm. I go back to the same games I've played in the past when I'm not playing Genshin.
