  1. Great comparison. I'll be sticking with genshin. Single player experience is usually less toxic and focus is on the story which I think is pretty good (though I skip the non voiced ones all the time 🤣). I'm someone who already thinks genshin consumes a bit more time out of my life than I want.

  2. Ngl the game looks good. I might try it out when it public oh and also this game may make Hoyoverse get their stuff together. This is gonna create some competition and Hoyoverse can't slack off like they been.

  3. so about the pity system, is it that you can choose the SSR you want ? or you just get one? sounds much better than genshin's gacha either way but curious

  4. I'll be playing both, but sticking towards Genshin because I'm a single player type of person, but I love that TOF has player customization, a different combat system, and attempting to make quality of life changes (gacha system, etc) that Genshin is slow or won't implement. The more variety of games like Genshin, TOF, Aether Gazer, PGR, Blue Protocol and others is only good for the gamers

  5. TOF be doing things right compared to Genshin where it should count. BUT TO BE HONEST, CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION IS MY ACHILLES HEEL. Look, I love Lumine and the characters I’ve met in the story, but Genshin gotta get their shit together. Because TOF might just be the start… more new games giving frustrated Genshin players what they deserve and actually need.
